What I like about Pia on is because of her genuine humility. We can have a lot of beautiful Queens on the stage, especially on stage like Miss Universe, but someone as Down-To-Earth as Pia is really admirable. You can really witness that from all of her interviews. I love the fact that she is not someone from wealthy family or elite family from Phillipines. She was just living a normal life, that she not only took care of herself, but the whole family at such a young age. I believe that's what kept her grounded and humble. And she won the chance to represent Phillipines at Miss Universe after multiple attempts, it tells us that she's a fighter! It just shows that eveyone is capable to succeed. I'm not from the Phillipines but I approved her winning. She deserves it. #theinspiringPia

Actually you should watch some of the cellphone videos that were captured by some of the audience as Ms Philippines tried to approach Ms Colombia which I'm darn sure that the Colombian Media did not air. Pia was insensitively brushed off by a lot of the girls and someone was saying "que la empuja" which means "push her" . I was appalled because I had no idea that some of the Colombian fans can be so cruel and vindictive. Pia was actually very gracious enough not to mention anything that happened back stage! If Ariadna was really a kind hearted and gracious Ms Universe hopeful she would have pleaded to the fans to stop bullying Pia, but it's like she's egging them on! Pia was actually very gracious in singing praises about her, if she was really a vindictive girl, she would have spilled the frijoles about what really happened backstage
