So our other Filipina Miss Universe winners actually did better with English as their second language.

English was not my first language, it was Tagalog, but through dedication and reading lots of books I became nearly fluent in English at the age of 10. Anybody can learn any language and become fluent, if you have the dedication. Also, being young helps as well, as learning is easier when younger. So all of you future parents, make sure you expose your kids to languages when theyre young :)
