One thing to note is that if Cammy gets you into the corner off of any strength spiral arrow -- there is a very simple frame kill set-up that will make her 2HP meaty enough to be +4 on block consistently.
Cammy is frustrating in a kind of unique way in this game…when I play against even Ken or JP, I at least see some individuality in how they play. In diamond 99% of Cammy players do literally the same thing. It’s the same combo, the same setups, the same routine. But the frame data is so good on her stuff that it just works anyway.
Cammy players definetely has some rank inflation due to how strong she is coupled with being the easiest character in the game.

… She’s a strike/throw character. She does one thing and she does it well. She has no overhead and no command grab (apart from the questionable Hooligan Grab.)

@@jq7073 🤦🏻♂️ Did you read between the parentheses? It’s clearly not a traditional command grab. It’s certainly not a part of her main tools. Plus, it whiffs on crouching characters.
Always struggle into Cammy so appreciate these tips even though she has a simple gameplan.You covered all the this that make her annoying to fight. Awesome guide hope to see more how to beat character guides in the future.
She is a nightmare for Zangief, because he doesn't have a wake up DP to fight against Oki. He can even be thrown out of SPD and Lariat.

Cammy main here too 😂. Im definitely guilty of ex dp multiple times when im cornered. Not from panic or anything but i think sometimes you gotta show the opp you arent scares of doing back to back dps even if they block them. Ive definitely thrown away a few rounds because of it but usually it works the 2nd time around. Im definitely stealing that saucy combo at the start though!
as a luke main one of my strategies is to sometimes throw out sand blasts like spin knuckle doesnt exist. 9/10 cammy's will H spin knuckle after so i neutral jump to punish it. i think they get upset that im disrespecting them lol
This is a good tactic. Sandblast is fast though..they probably have to predict a little unlike with regular hadokens.
Just have to watch Luke animations

Last night, after a couple of weeks without playing, I got in to that situation with a cammy, I was playing blanka and I was burned out, she started the infinite and I took I guess that the gap could be there and the and of the spin. It worked!!!

I'm really need a guide to fight against Chun Li.
In internet we have a lot of tutorials teaching how play her but none teaching how to deal against her.
Jab her out of stance if she goes into it. Be prepared to block low and watch out for overheads. In corner, she will use safe jumps, so perfect parry is your best bet. Don’t press buttons if you see her whiff crouch medium punch after getting knocked down from medium spinning bird kick. Drive impact is good since a lot of her moves are not cancellable.
Cammy seems super broken, but maybe she just counters my main juri.
Playing against her, none of my normal frame traps work because she just spams jab into spiral arrow on wake up. Usually Juri can do standing medium on enemy wake up to force a block, but Cammy just spams lights straight through it, if i go for a throw on enemy wake up, I get spammed light through it. The characters light jabs just feel broken.
Hey Mura do you think reaction perfect parry is good vs Cammy's divekick? Like reacting to the actual divekick
Would imagine it being good ofcourse but i feel like it can be hard and seems like it would be risky. Can you really raw react to the DK every time ? That seems hard, idk

As a Cammy main, most people can DI the dive kick on reaction, which puts her in a juggle state.
@@MCMuraFGC I can do it in training mode consistently but I'm really not sure how realistic it would be in a real match. The nice thing is: since you can barely react to it, you'll usually get a perfect parry by default.
how do you stop cammy with characters without DP like Marisa, Manon etc?

but mura, going for the perfect parry against the knuckle is always risky - if you don't get the perfect parry, you're minus and will eat a combo.
just began maining chun and stuck in plat (gah, gross i know), i struggle dealing with cammys who spam knuckles. any ideas?
most are surprised when i actually beat them out of the infinite loop, all u need to do is a 5 frame normal after the s.HP like for instance Ken,s s.MP

Neutral spinning knuckle is a sure way to get DI... against good players, of course... which everyone are not...
i def think cammy is too strong. her spinning backfist input is too easy for all that she gets off it. Like, c'mon choose one! it's Plus OB, travels 50% of the screen, goes through fireballs and it's Cancelable! (See Lily for that too...) and her dive kick, although harder to do, should not be able to be done so close to the ground. She's been creepin up my list of most hated lately cuz

0:15 -- frame 6 and 7 are active. I don't understand how luke cr.mp has 14 active frames? The move recovers in 14 frames.
Angry Bird made a mistake, just found it funny in the context of the current Luke vs Ken top players downplay wars.

She doesn’t have one. You could do her level 1 super art though which is invincible. Or do the OD slither move to get away

Her Level 3 is the best Level 3 of the game. It punish everything at the other side of the screen.
