Are you a Seminole
@ZaviaaDHagwood No,, I am Navajo,, But I grew up with many Seminole & Miccosukee..I am Bil Hozhoni (The Happy One) I was born in Florida but most of my people are from New Mexico & Arizona areas....Why do you ask?
We are in the similar boat, except that I am in Texas. I love to watch these videos.

The thing I love about Steven is how he always takes the time to explain his rig and setup. I just love that. It’s so helpful.
An you know he truly knows what he's doing, cuz he makes it sound simple and makes it look easy
@@ScotteM bro ikr!
My kids want to fish with him so bad they watch your episodes all the time.
Get you a small boat and hit the beach. You don't have to go very far offshore for big fish up there. I used to watch a kayaker off Destin catch all kinds of pelagics. I even saw him hook into a sailfish.
Fishing off the bank! There's a 1000 ways to fish!
This kind of exercise is a lot more fun than any gym !
Freighter ships and oil rigs hold so much fish, some of the best fishing ive had off the gulf coast.
I was on a 120,000 dollar boat with 5 and 600 rigs fishing those anchored ships. One of the deck hands on the ship dropped a line with a Gatorade bottle as a cork and 2 pieces of bacon as bait and pulled up a monster cobia. We didn’t get anything 😂 😂😂😂. I’ll remember that as long as I’m alive.
Love the speed master!!!
You can tell that this man loves to fish and teach. These men are getting rare.
Semper Fi God and Country.
Stephen, we absolutely love your videos!! My son and I fish everyday together, it is one of our favorite pastimes. I love that your mom fishes with you as well. We fish mostly lakes, ponds and creeks. We have done some saltwater fishing but hope to do more in the future. Keep those videos coming, we look forward to them!
Man you know it’s gonna be a good day when bama drops 🔥🔥🔥
100% Agreed.
Some bruiser jacks bro. Can’t wait to hook one on the rail. 👍🏻🤙🏻
Same here!! Love seeing em come down the bar
Hey Bama, I know you most likely won’t see this but you really motivate people to get out and go fishing. Or at least you motivate me lol, this summer I’m planning on fishing for some biggins and I’ll update if I catch anything👍
That was three studs. You have had your workout for today. Have a blessed day.
Another awesome video thanks for always pumping out great content!
Down from southern illinois. Be in the Orange Beach area Monday. Lets go fishin. 😊
Thanks for the great content, Stephen!
We call those Crevalle Jacks "Marsh Marlins" up here in NC. They'll always give you a damn good fight.
Haha love it, great name lol
Always enjoy the videos. Can't wait to head down in a few weeks to try some fishing.
My wife and I are moving to your area soon. I'm looking for my first offshore boat. I have more confidence that I can fish the gulf thanks to your videos. Thank you for all you do.
Another great video brother! Have a blessed day!
You definitely get your workout in!! I used to fish out of Bradenton , FL and fish like this are awesome to catch. Amber Jack is fun. Grouper is a blast too.
As always a great video. Now enjoying the comments you are receiving. A lot of people grateful for the time you spend creating the content you are putting out. Keep up the excellent work you are doing. You are making a difference.
Yes I remember fishing off the pier over there an orange beach over there in Flora-Bama Pier
So they were showing the gulf and high tides and rip tide watches etc etc. News showed a very familiar shoreline with some nice waves and I was “I KNOW THAT BEACH ITS ORANGE BEACH ALABAMA”!!!!!!! I think I may need an intervention. Careful with the rough tides next day or so and give my best to your mom! Patty in Austin.
Bama quick question why didn’t you eat the jack trevally they taste really good
Guy I know is a Charter Captain. He calls those big Jacks client killers. After they catch a few of those they are ready to go back to the ramp. LOL.
Haha, 100% a dang good pull lol.
Stephen love your video been addicted to them. Hope to meet you one day!
Im fist pumping when you net and land. Keep up the good work.
I catch that in Jamaica he’s going in my belly, great catch bra!..🇯🇲👊🏿
Nothing to keep today, but I envy those massive jacks, you were slaying em, I love your videos because they inspired my dad to purchase a skiff, so now we can do some of the awesome fishing that you do
Just bought a bunch of Mossy Oak gear using your code. Thank you!
Man. Love me some. Big Jack's. That so much fun. Great job
I hate those fish. They're like trying to pull up a sheet of plywood. .... except the hit. No fish in the Atlantic hits a top water lure harder. Then it's 20 minutes of WORK.
Love your videos! My kids love to watch them with me. We get really nervous for your fingers (after your previous video of getting hooked) when you take the hooks out of the fish without pliers. Be careful! Thanks for all your videos!
Dude you have so much fun,I’m jealous right now
I would be wore out after that but I'm 65!! Great fishing video!!
Thanks for the video captain !!
As always man...great video. Love it. I have three fishing content creators I like and you are definitely my favorite. My son knows your voice and if he hears it he says "Dad, are you watching Bama again?"
Steven it’s about time you posted a new video! I have been having withdrawals!
Awesome day its always an adventure to be on the water a few miles out those were some huge jack crevalle and amazing battles. I have a large frying pan and fry them whole the smaller ones, and I had a big JC broiled with tomato sauce over it.. I will do that again Great video
The tension on that line is insane!
Ever had one of your subscribers go fishing with you??❤❤
Hey stephen love ur vids but on that first fish i recommend leaving the clicker on bc it adds a little bit more drag and its easier to reel in in low gear
Another reel screaming adventure!!! Thanks for sharing, may God bless.
Dang those jacks are real fighters!!!!👍👍 Id love to catch one of them sometime.
Thank you sir for posting these videos. Wish I was there fishing with you. Will be there in your area in September.
fun fishin but jack cravellle na....back is not for jack..super fun catchen..godbless staysafe..
You should have way more than 185K subscribers for being the GOAT of multispecies fishing. Great entertainment and learning. If you're reading this check and make sure you've subscribed. I'd love to see a challenge of documenting how many species you could catch in a year or maybe just a month.
That was a nice Jack!!! 👍🏼
The first JC I ever caught was in a kayak, off the upper Texas coast about 1/2 mile out. Water was flat calm and clear. I didnt know what I had hooked. A huge swell came up beside my yak. I looked down and saw the fish I had hooked with a school of jacks in tow. Right behind them was a HUGE hammer head. Its head must have been 8' across. I almost cut the line but I didnt. An hour later and a mile out I landed the jack. The hook fell out, the hook was broke behind the barb.
They're like trying to pull up a sheet of plywood.
Hey, brother. GREAT channel, super entertaining! Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Beautiful scenery 😊. Another great video ❤
Love when you post🤙🏼
nice catch that big fighter,,good video sir..
Catch & clean, cook slot red fish videos!
Nice job on Jack

Those jacks were super deluxe models fun fight and even better on a top water plug nice job Bama!

thanks for the fun man good stuff...
love your content bro, looking forward to fishing with you on the pier eventually
Cant wait until it's completed and opened again!!
Love the channel and the offshore videos when weather permits can you do a deep drilling videos love those kind of
another great video with some awesome catches!!
Good Luck !! It's a beautiful day out there for fishing 👍.
I userd to do alot of fishing for speckled trout at Shell Island Marina at St Mark, Fla I live in Griffin, Georgia and would go down about 4 or 5 times a year no longer able to fish nearly 81 years old and to many health problems. I used to hunt and fish as much as I could I love your channel keep it going.
Crevalle are very fun to catch in shallow water. They'll rake multiple runs out. Circle the boat. Very stout fish. A shame they're not better eating but we did eat some as a kid. Not too terrible sautéed in butter & garlic.
Jack's truly are the strongest, baddest jokers of the water. Permits and pompano are Jack's like you said. Amber Jack's have a very close relative in socal and Baja that go by yellow tail. They are also in New Zealand and they go by kingfish down there. But they are all such hard fighters. I have caught all of them except an AP or permit. And I believe amberjacks are the king of the family. When you hook a 50 lb reef donkey you are in for a ride. They give you every ounce of fight they got. And almost always live by a hole to run to to.
Holy cow! 3 enormous GTs. So cool. I’ll bet they wore you out.
Damnn!!! That's a monster JC. HOLY CRAP
Awesome video man I watch every one of your videos I can’t wait for the next every time your awesome
I love that he always gives thanks to our creator the Lord above.
You need a small crane to lift those fish inside your boat. Thanks for sharing.
Hahaha!! For sure lol
Great video, again Steven. I often say, if I can’t catch anything edible then make it a Jack Cravalle! Great fighting fish!
Bro that fish is a tough fish to get in. Great work out fo sho 6:59
Thanks man! They are beasts for sure
I guess you're gonna sleep good tonight. Don't have to worry about working your arms out for sure!
I lost 2 of those Nomad DTX's the same week and the same area you filmed this. 😢😢😢 I have the cable now, costly lesson for me. 😂
We were just down there last week and could see those container ships from our place in Ft Morgan.
I have to admit...ive been subbed and watching you for a while now and you have become one of my "go-to-firsts". But what amazes me is your gear! you have soooo much different stuff. And NICE stuff. Im fishing (and hunting) with the typical sporting good store stuff. i love seeing your gear; such as the trolling pole at 1:50 into the video. If i can get a little personal...approximately how much do you have invested into all that gear? Another question if i may...do you do any charters? id love to book a trip one day if you do.
Stephen, I love your vids, here is a recommendation for an area to fish. Industrial canal, mobile bay.
Steve. It's not windy out there. It's 20 to 25 knots at steinhatchee on the flats.
Love your videos! Keep on going!
I think that you doing great now on your videos. ❤😂 Watched a few years ago videos and your much better. Keep it up. Wished I could eat some of the fish you catch. The fish where I live they recommend you only eat four meals a month. They are that poisonous. 😢 The nwo is so depressing. 😂Really like watching your videos. You have gained some weight in the last 3 years.😂😂😂😂😂
I'm a 21 year old and I love fishing it's my passion to fish over the world but sadly I can't cus I don't have the money but I caught some big jewie and flathead on lures and bait
Got any tips for a Midwesterner wanting to kayak out and catch a cuda
I was just out there last Saturday and we left from fort Morgan marina, we caught about 15 Spanish mackerel
Great video. Wanted to ask have you ever tried to eat Jack Crevalle? I caught a huge one a few years back on light tackle same size you just pulled in and took forever to pull in. My dad cleaned the fish and cut blood lines out and I grilled it and it tasted amazing. I really think people like to lable fish a trash from generations passing it down that have never tryed to eat and say for them selves if it's good or not. Great content and love your channel.
Awesome video! What's the knot for the wire leader you use?
49 strand cable leader was crimped. Single Strand wire uses a Haywire twist
Enjoy your video 👍
Super fun catches
Hey man, what knot do you use to connect your top shot to your braid? FG?
I use ball bearing swivels for better rotation but If it works it works. Great Vid sir
Same!!! Regular inshore fishing and nearshore, I Use standard crane swivels. Offshore and trolling, I use Ball bearing swivels.
looks so fun!
What knot do you use to connect your mono top shot to your leader?
Another great Video!!
I used to mess with those jacks years ago. All you had to do was wade out around the mouth of the bayou when the menhaden were dying, pick one up when he floated by, toss him out and hang on. Now they are just a pain in the rear end. Especially when you hook them out in the gulf and think you actually have something.Surprised you didn't stop at one of those freighters, sabiki up some bait and try for Cobia. It probably would have been a jack festival but you never know. Captain Collier has had some days around those ships.
I HATE catching jacks. Too much work. But ... I appreciate quality clips. So, I made sure to tap the thumbs up 👍 button to feed the algorithm monsters.
should come back through icw and looped the whole island.
Those were huge! Cool video!
I want to go fishing with you so badly!
I always think the same thing
What do you use to get the fish blood out your clothes? Just curious what others use..
I am 63 years old & what I was taught as a kid has always worked well for me,, Use Hydrogen Peroxide.
@@happymethehappyone8300yup HP works really good for blud stains
Soak in Blue Dawn and then wash in Oxy Clean!
Great content!
Hey man, I run the same boat as you here in SO TX. Anyway, looking to upgrade my chartotter/gps. What unit you running? Looks to be a garmin. I’m looking at an echomap uhd 74sv.
