I've been using Akai gear since the early 1990's when I bought my S950. I would just like to say 'Well Done Akai' This 2.10 Update is truly sonically stunning.

I updated mine yesterday try it out it's so much to choose from I've been waiting on akai to do something like this I mean it only makes it more power if they keep the updates with more to choose from

scrolling through the mellotron settings for the sound quality reminds me alot of scrolling through the oscillators for Microfreak.

Mike Pindar of The Moody Blues was a Mellotron master. Looking forward to remixing some MB classics with this on my Live II.

Honestly the layout is exactly like the real deal, so much of what you can program etc. you could learn from existing patch guides! Though I would like to see if there are any nice little hidden tricks :)

huge update! but I noticed, that in notes mode now every pad in another octave of the note pressed is lit. can you turn tat off?

It says to install the synth content on a standalone force or MPC Device copy synths directory into the top level folder of a SD card or USB drive..
I had copy the Content into the root on my SSD in the Live II via Control Mode. 1,5 Minutes and it was ready. Thx AKAI. Now we need a good Arranger.

the vibrato settings worked the first time i used it but now its not doing anything on those specific settings. Also if i tap a specific parameter on screen the qlink highlight randomly picks a section. ?? Age isnt working either.
My beats was so heavy ....in was getting a strong mix ...then I bought a mpc one and upgraded my software....now my mixes sound thin and horrible....HELP PLEASE

I've had an mpc one for a few months and I didn't know it doesn't have a manual in Spanish (because I wouldn't have bought it) I don't understand why Akai doesn't have a manual on the web next to the English one in pdf (Is it very expensive??) It seems incredible not to have on your website and to be able to understand and reach more people. I wouldn't buy if there is no manual in Spanish. Nice but where are all the tape racks? You're missing out on like 100 sounds! Pianos, vibes, chellos, harpsicords, organs, plucks, brass, guitars...This is like buying a bike with no wheels man.

Updated to new firmware new plugins didn't show up what should I do in standalone mode please what i do wrong help mpc live
You have to download the synth content separately, then place the “synths” folder on the root of your hdd or sd card. Don’t forget to reset your preferences after every firmware update as well.
Does anyone know where i can download it? I dont know which plugin on the akai website contains the mellotron.
same can't find it just downloaded the software 2022 and have always wanted to play a mellotron let me know if you have any progress, I see the plugins not mellotron dunno if the current update change?

Make a real MPC again please. Not this ipad + midi controller. It wasn't broke, you didn't need to fix it. JUCE IDE aint no friend a me.
