Really good video Caan. its a lifestyle we are all striving for but for 99.9% its only a dream because it is so difficult to master. personally , coming from a gambling and then matched betting background i find the psychological side of trading nearly impossible. happy to go forward making small but steady gains which is why your videos are so helpful but i'm never going to retire on it.

Very authentic video Caan… I’ve done well for myself betting and have made a consistent living from it for 18 months now, but I still struggle with having a proper routine and I’m very guilty of almost being a workaholic and never hitting the off button. It’s good to see the way you operate and understanding for myself how I behave now probably results in diminishing returns as opposed to balancing things out and getting the best of everything… no pointing being able to make money in this way if you’re not truly enjoying life along the way
We've all been there mate. In the early days I did that for a while, got quite unhealthy. Have to remember why you got into it in the first place!

I am 53 and have had a reasonably successful career in finance targeting jobs that are intrinsically interesting if challenging. To me though ever since I did my first bet at around 19 (still remember it - a double result score on a football match for £2) I have toyed with the idea of being a pro gambler - now i am not the worst gambler and over the years the excitement of betting on all stuff from poker to betfair to accas to cheltenham to spread betting and even the real life casinos in Vegas has far outweighed the controlled level of losses I have made so no regrets but thats why i love listening to any pro gambler as anyone that can make that heady mix of sport and money pay is always interesting to listen to !

@@CaanBerryProTrader like other life skills, the more you practise the better you get, I got my time down to about a minute and that's where I stopped, getting sub 30 or sub 10 would take a ridiculous amount of work that I'd rather spend on something else.

Caan, You might already like the razor you have for the head shaving, but if you ever want to up the game and get more into wet shaving, check out the new MARS razor designed and made in the UK. It's a start-up one man band sort of thing but it's gaining quite a few very good reviews in many "shaving enthusiast" groups (yeah, it's a thing). Pennies a shave with no plastic to throw away (uses traditional blades). I'm not a head shaver but many people are saying it's really good for head shaving. I use one for face shaving, it's really good. Getting ahold of the maker to buy one though is a bit hit and miss, lol.

I used the national gambling platform in my country. It may have low odds but I am able to play without fearing that I get ban or the platform closed down.
Best of all, even if I loses my bets, my money will be used for charity and funding the public projects

Getting up in the morning
Running
Spending hours in front of a computer screen unless there’s cats or naked women involved or the occasional old movie
Sleeping with Caans missus /mrs /however it’s spelt
Good video Caan, I did matched betting full time for 2 years and was the best 2 years of my life. Unfortunately lack of accounts meant back to work for me currently. Working to become more dependant on Betfair so can go full time again in the future

How do you continue to use betting sites? I’m limited to dodgy foreign sites to accept new players once have been restricted… it’s a lottery who are decent, had a few sites where it’s taken months of complaining to get a withdrawal or some that are totally a lost cause only been reviewed by fake affiliate sites

Was in the Army, a whole range of different roles while I was there. Majority of the time was spent with 2/3 para, some specialist surveillance, some with mercenary contractors. It was a buzz.
Have to be really careful which betting sites you use. Foreign ones are dodgey as you say, exchanges are best, or sourcing other ways to get on :)

Great video! I’m at the start of my journey with profitable sports betting. I’m using my own system but ultimately there’s a higher level of gambling risk involved than trading. My question is, do you believe that it’s still possible to make a living from sports betting from the gambling perspective, by following a set system?

This may be a dumb question, but if your account is restricted from winning, then how does getting a new phone or SIM card allow you to continue betting? Do you use a whole different identity as well or something?

It's a bit of a grey area, so many wouldn't like to talk about it in public. But I will say... it's not different to tips really is it? Bookies love tips and tipsters, if I'm helping someone be profitable with their account and they collect the winnings it's no different to giving them a tip is it? I'm sure a bookie would claim otherwise, but then they try to have everything both ways when it suits them. :)

Just to clarify then we can consistently win and trade on BF exchange without being banned or restricted you just have to pay more commission to them? I would like to have another go at sports betting but I don’t want to commit if it’s impossible to be profitable regularly without being banned.

Pro tip do insurance aka bet 2 odds and when the odds move to 1.2 odds bet the other team to insurance ur money aka bet 7 odds and 2 odds u cant lose

Hi Caan, Here in Australia, we are not allowed to trade football in the normal way. We have to call Betfair Australia every time we want to place an individual trade in play. We love being different in Australia to the point of being total and utter idiots.
The politicians love smothering us with rules, regulations and restrictions. Then they tell the world Australia is one of the greatest countries on earth for freedom.

Do you bet on golf and if so what strategy do you use i find golf prices to be very high and lucrative.I pick my players at the start then wait for Friday the cut line then im glued on watching in running betting Saturday and Sunday.The best bet i done was picking 3 winners in a treble on 3 different tours european the pga and the lpga all won for me 750/1.I also got Collin Morrikawa at 200/1 to win the race to Dubai in 2021. As said cant work alot of trades are done within seconds and wouldn't know in advance till markets get going so just wouldnt be time to do anything like that and trading I feel is very individual hard to copy someone else

Why would the exchanges charge more for winners, they are not exposed, they are just matching, I do not get that.

I saw a horse once who was not in camera shot and was 1000/1 and running on anyway the bookies didnt notice it was running on until it come into camera shot perfect back to lay bet there thats just one of the benefits to betting at the track i dont even think there is bookies at the tracks to be honest updating live prices.

Cann ,monday i got my 10 quid free bet paddy power picked two horses in ireland from two races done a 2.50 win double 2x2 10 quid got a 1st 50/1 and a 1st 14/1 £1,975.00 winnings took me 5mins to do i watch a lot of races and if something takes my eye i back then if it loses i do it again

There's fluctuations in variability but I wouldn't want the stress for less than 100k a year, it's harder work than it looks.
