I just love Marinas accent!! I could listen to her talk to about anything.. thanks for sharing your journey with us!!!
Ditto!!
Not a Spaniard's accent. Nicer
😊
@resparza6855 I don't know what country she was born and raised in, but as an American I love her accent... Stewart is more difficult to understand with his thick accent but he's very funny. He could definitely be entertaining as a stand up comedian with not much effort.
@@bendaves77 I believe Marina is from Spain
Except football after Sunday
"We can jazz it up with pictures of loved ones". 😂
Any ideas??
🤣🤣
Cheers for watching 🙂
@@SailingSeabird I think it looks fab, but a bit beautiful tap wouldn't be a terrible idea.
@@SailingSeabird mother in law lol😂
4:03 : "that beefy sander is doing the job"
Jay! I couldn't be more pleased to hear that. 👍
The wall in toilet could be done with the interlocking pvc shower wall you get in any big diy store some realy nice designs available and its a small space do the entire room
The boat looks a bit naked without the bowstem. But it’s all for the good. Have a good weekend
So glad I've watched you two from the start of your project. It's so nice to see it coming along. May the treasure always find you :)

Looks like that hull will be ready for the water soon 😉😜😃🍻
Lol your so naughty Marina, I could hear the little giggle when you said check out Stu’s pole😂. And Stu wants a pole ring too
Another awesome video! Seabird is going to look great again!
Je vous apprécie beaucoup. Vous suivre et très plaisant.
5:02 um, ah-hu 😊
Stuart you have done a great job on the sanding so far bit by bit it's coming along great work both of you 👏👏⛵
Save that wall for Souvenirs from every place you will visit
😊
Best idea yet 😊
Your faithfulness at keeping on with the tasks is inspiring. I am confident that you could walk across any continent of the globe if you decided to do it.
Great JOB. Wonderful opportunity to be part of your progress. It´s a great pleasure. Thank you.
Thank you.
We are glad you enjoy the content.
Cheers for watching 🙂
I got the real feel of Port Napoleons cars ! :D
Loving the drone shots...great video!😊👍🌟🎉
oh glorious sanding, now where have I heard that before? thanks for sharing you guys....
You are making great head way!! congratulation!!!
Looks like you are making good progress. 🤗💖🙂⛵🐬🌴
Yes, thank you.
Step by step.
Cheers for watching 🙂
Bien....el trabajo constante produce resultados....step by step....de seabird rides again😂
I stumbled upon your channel the week you posted the video where Stewart was dragging you out through the weeds to look at seabird, believe you only had a few thousand subscribers. I haven't missed a video since and definitely subscribed along way back.. I have faith that by the time you have seabird ready to venture around you will have a great following and a successful channel where you continue to entertain us all and take us along on your travels while we support you in anyway we possibly can..
Thanks for the nice video 🏝️☮️
Loving the drone shots. Nice to see how you sit in the surrounding countryside. That basin may be a bit “sloshy” underway but it looks elegant. Go well❤
keep up the good work 👍
Thank you.
We'll try.
Cheers for watching 🙂
Sunny days and activities outside! Nice!
Dear Marina! hanks for the invite, but checking out Stu's pole is your job. 🤭
Proper progress again. Well done you two wish I could pitch in to help .
I wish you success in your work. It is not easy to deal with such scrap boats.
What about a big mirror on the wall in the loo with led lighting strip around it, be great for Stu to do his make up in😂
😂
Congrats on hitting 40k! You guys are awesome!!
Thanks so much!!
It's crazy how the channel is growing.
Cheers for watching 🙂
36 subs away from 40,000 subs, that's awesome news to hear, excited for you both. You deserve all the subs you can get you've come a long ways, in this refit. congrats
Almost time to prep the hull for epoxy sealer primer, then go straight for copper coat! 👍👍👍
Something like that..
Cheers for watching 🙂
Awesome job on the hull guys!! It is looking safer and safer every day!!
Saludos Marina & Stu!!

Stue, Maria im not sure what your intending for the Carbon pole but while i think its perfect to hold a sail or spinnacker open .. you have to be carefull if you want to hold it down in compression they can crush unless they are held down over a wide area and evenly. Just a point to check.
Living the dream guys. God bless you with success for your project. x
Vinyl wrap of something funky for the heads wall.....
Not a bad idea.
Just not sure of one wall.
Something cool...
Cheers for watching 🙂
For the bathroom wall: a map where you can mark every place you dock Seabird!
I like this idea, a lot!
Thanks.
Cheers for watching 🙂
It looks like Marina is enjoying playing with her drone.
Its no small thing to make such hard graft look so much fun, keep it going guys and think of the sailing to come. Thanks for sharing.
For the 'Extendable' Bow Sprit, an eye bolt just above the water line and two sheaves. A single at the bottom and a double on the sprit, then tie some Dyneema to the 'Eye', run it up through the double, down through the single and back up through the double. Then run the bitter end back to a cleat on deck. When you retract the pole you can take in the slack and cleat it off, holding the pole in place. Once extended, hauling in on the line will give the down-force needed to counteract the sails lift... This would be, to me, the cheapest and simplest solution, but I'm sure your inventive minds will come up with something! 😁
Great work. Luv in the progress. Great show as always.
Your channel reminds me of a long time ago, when i was young and before on demand tv, where you had to wait a week for your favorite tv show to air. 😊 Keep it up, and thanks for taking me on your build adventure.
Always looking forward to Friday to see your progress looking great thank you for letting us watch can't wait to see her on the water😊
Thank you.
We are glad you enjoy the content.
We are still a long from the water but every day we are a step closer.
Cheers for watching 🙂
If that is a new drone , it works well !
Very good progress made in today's video... looking good
Thank you.
We are getting closer every week.
Just need to finish off all the incomplete jobs 🤣🤣🤣
Cheers for watching 🙂
Really nice episode again. Love to see you two and your dream progression so well.
Great job done this week. Good progress
Good step forward in upgrading your photo equipment. Please never change your presentation styles though as your videos are a joy to watch each week.
The sanding is going great and the ancor plates are of love your video great stuff
Hi Marina & Stu. My husband and I have enjoyed watching your project for some time now. You have made phenomenal progress; Seabird’s looking wonderful and you should be extremely proud of your transformation efforts👍😀
Not sure if you’ve come up with an idea for your feature wall yet, but maybe consider painting it either the blue of the exterior (if you are keeping that colour) or an ocean/water colour (so many different shades to choose from) and as your boat is called ‘Seabird’ frame and put up pictures/photos/paintings of your favourite sea birds (e.g. seagull, cormorant)?
Anyways, whatever you decide I’m sure will look fantastic!! Looking forward to seeing further progress next week. Stay hydrated and cool. Best wishes from some Australian fans - Lisa & Mark🦘🌏
Hard word on this week, but good results.
Nice last aerial shot, que bien :) !
Great progress, you make me laugh! Thank you for another great video.
Things are looking amazing. Keep up the hard work ❤
Hi seabird family in your bathroom where the wood is have you ever thought of buying some stick-on tiles mirrored tiles you can buy round one square ones triangular ones and other ones you think you go in the shower you get two sinks and you get two people in the shower room it will look bider as well lol q1and I am subscribed as well with thumbs up love your channel👍👍💯💯💯💯 I've been watching for a long time long time on your channel

Great video by the way and thank you for sharing it
We are happy you enjoy the videos.
We have loads of fun making them.
Cheers for watching 🙂
Yours is one of my favorite refit projects because it is done on a rather tight budget.
Thank you.
You have to look after the pennies. 🤣
Cheers for watching 🙂
moving foward
Nice one well done lot of content seabird is looking great 😊😊
The sink drain can be at high level to ensure it drains, to low and when healed over you might get back fill with running water pressure under sail
Best channel on TH-cam. Love how thing are progressing in the last few videos👏
Should use a long board sanding on hull, when glossy the sanded low spots will be visible in mirror finish, could longboard after first primer sanding most of it off.
so happy to seeing you two's video!!!
Loving the drone footage amazing progress
Another productive week. You went from Seabird to ---bird and finally to -----rd 😂. When you finished with all the sanding and painting we hope SEABIRD is reinstated ❤❤❤
I`ve got an idea for the wall . Put an picture what you love printed on a alluminium/pvc plate on it!
Another good idea for the wall.
Thanks.
Cheers for watching 🙂
Congrats on your 40k! Well deserved.
Stuarts my kinda guy one mans waste is another mans treasure :)

So it's sunday morning and youtube stats 40.100. Congratulations. Going for the 50.000 :-)
Just fantastic commitment on show every week, you have my total admiration! Re-use, Repair, Recycle is how we help the health of our beautiful planet. Fair sailing, SkipRay, Kerry, Ireland.
Hard working couple.
Best video on TH-cam.
You 2 are amazing and you have team spirit par exelance.
Go Seabird the blue water is waiting for you.
I like your video’s. For me you have to change nothing, keep on going like this. Grtz. From the Netherlands
Maybe you could do a painting of a "seabird" with diverent kinds of wood on that wall.
Like a wood mosaic?
Good idea, just not that skilled.
Cheers for watching 🙂
That's a really cool idea... Or just a painting of old sailing ships.
Liking the drone shots! My friend used to call the trash finds “ the garbage gods “. I guess for you two it’s the bin gods 😉 Stay with it! Everything is improving.
Thank you.
The bin finds haven't been great atm but im also trying not to take so much junk.
Soon we'll be moving back onto the boat and we'll have nowhere to stow it. 🤣🤣🤣
Cheers for watching 🙂
About reusing your old Aluminium-Guardrail: i guess the original pieces were anodised (as surface-pretreatment before painting). It will be pretty hard for you (as almost newbies to the world of chemicals, painting materials and correct procedures) to judge if the original Aluminium was anodized at first or not. But: it was mounted on a production sailboat, so i'm 95% sure that it was anodised because of the resistance to seawater. So what that means for you ? You have to be careful by sanding these pieces for new paint application ! So just roughen up the old surface (using 180 / 220 # by hand or 280 by machine, not coarser) just to secure a good bond of your new paintmaterials to the old coating. The idea behind that: using the old coating as a primer for your new one. If the old surface is scrached/damaged to the ground or covered with blisters you have to sand that aereas down to the bare aluminium (not caring if it was anodized or not) and build these areas up as if it was blank / new / not anodised aluminium before. Means: using a 2 component acid primer (usually with phosphoric acid inside => "Prop Speed" is such a product - but not the only one), a high-build primer ontop of that (can be out of a spray can, look in the "Car-Repair-Section") and than a light sand (using 280 / 320 #) before painting anew. Good results and best regards from your truthfully Paint-Shop-Manager from Berlin, Germany
How about covering that wall with lots of photos of the restoration. Not in any kind of sequence, but just snapshots of bits of the rebuild that have felt particualrly significant to either one of you. Something to contemplate and ponder over long into the future, when you're off on your travels.
I did my head walls with cedar tongue and groove. You might like that for your wall.
Thank you for sharing your lovely personalities with us, thank you for brightening my weekend every week and thank you for bringing us along on this journey of yours and Seabird's. Oh, and enjoy your new spanner ;-)
Hiya Ray,
Hope you're well.
Thanks for the constant support.
Cheers for watching 🙂
If that rubbing strip is Aluminium, a mop will make it shiny, shiny.
What type of mop??
Cheers for watching 🙂
@@SailingSeabird I believe they mean a good cleaning
@@SailingSeabird A motorised mop, linishing, buffing, polishing.
If you both continue to the end it will be a beauty. I watch all ways, and I include you both in my prayers. ❤❤❤
Great progress. A lick of paint, some anti fouling, not long now…
Not long in the grand scale of things, but still a lot to do.
So much if I think about it. 🤔
Cheers for watching 🙂
Another lovely video!❤
Big changes on the boat yes, but what I have noticed you guys are improving on the quality of your videos.....ie the drone footage, editing, music, etc....keep it up. I missed you on Friday, but here first thing Saturday though.....I was out of town
One of the best boat refurbs on youtube, we always look forward to your updates, good luck from the UK
You guys are awesome .. From New Zealand
Forty K! How awesome is that!?!?!?! Congratulations! Still groovin’ on your positive vibe. You guys are the best! (So….hot…..here. We’re on pause, until we get our vehicles sorted.Hangin’ at home this month. Back to the boat soon. ) 😎🥰🥰🥰🥰😎
Can't wait to see that hull and top-sides panted. Well done guys. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoy.
Cheers for watching 🙂
Great progress both of you. Keep it up, look forward to your videos each Friday. Thank you for your work putting together the videos for our entertainment. I don’t understand why anyone who has watched even just one of your videos wouldn’t subscribe.
Great episode again and what a good progress!! Much be a nice change to work on the outside of the boat again. The hull is looking sharp already.
Keep up the good work!
I love tuning in each week and seeing the progress you're making. It's so inspiring to see how well you kids work together and problem solve.so well. Seabird is looking better and better each week.
Thank you so much!
Slowly slowly things are looking better.
Cheers for watching 🙂
Spennende prosjekt!
Seems like you're already over 40k subscribers! Congrats!
Maybe a mirror in the bathroom?
Keep up the great work both of you. Just a suggestion for the sink in the head, maybe sit it on a small plinth and make a feature of it just to make double sure that the fittings underneath have enough clearance?
We have done similar on the toilet.
But on the basin..
It is a bit tight in that cupboard.
We'll know soon enough if it works.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Cheers for watching 🙂
Thanks again for another great video. You have both achieved so much with the 'bird and its looking great. That list of jobs will go up and down but the results are looking really good. Hope there is no arguments over the Euro football later this evening. Well done guys looking forward to next friday. Keep going!
Can you send me the front “bow sprit board thing” in Netherlands?😊 ill pay the freight of course, would be a great help for my old lady.
