Brawl sonic had the best animations and voice lines, I think if they ever make another smash game they should make sonic more like his Brawl counterpart in terms of animations and voicelines

What are you guys taking about? He has loads more personality in smash 4 and ultimate, since he takes after his uprising rendition. His movements, his taunts and victory animations, all fit way better for pit. Also, how do you miss his lines? He had the most monotone voice in brawl.

@Jake Turner When you use Lucario's Up B, you can choose the direction he moves. In that timestamp, he's using Lucario's Up B, but moving sideways, seems pretty straightforward to me.

About the thumbnail; Back in Sm4sh, I wanted Sonic to be more expressive, kind of like Brawl, because he looked more like a doll, rather than a character.
And they did addressed that, but one of the new expressions is supposed to be him frowning his eyebrows, but it looks bad, it's like they just made his eyes smaller.
King Dedede’s side B and Pit’s side B miss them so much :(
remember in brawl, you could switch to squirtle, but in sm4sh it was the one charizard had for side b in brawl. yeah his brawl down b was way better

I remember when sonic had a good model in smash not a peice of clay
Sm4sh model is better than Ultimate Model just for the detail
The textures were not good in the past, but they made the game realistic to differentiate it from the original games, and nowadays the textures are still bad, looking like clay.
Yeah, although, that's exactly how he looks in Sonic Forces, so at least it's accurate to his most recent game.
