Loved this, Ceri! I must say your doodling is fabulous! It tickled me to no end to see you doodle! Both papers turned out wonderful and then the ephemera…perfect! Love and hugs to you, dear friend! ❤️
Gayle I wish you’d have been with me because I would have handed them over to you to finish off as you’re far better at doodling than I am but. Think I should just do it more until it becomes natural. Thank you Gayle and much love.
You've quickly become my favorite YT channel, Ceri. Thank you for all the tips, inspiration, and expertise. I'm a card maker, but I still learn a LOT from you and I've brought much of it to my card making and decoupage projects. So enjoyable!
That was a great idea. I can cover that scrapbook paper I'm not too fond of with book pages and scraps, paint over it and do some mark makinging and stenciling over that for journaling cards or tags. Thank you Ceri for sharing your ideas. I enjoy watching your creative process. You are inspiring me to step outside my comfort zone a little more. ❤
I have admired the backgrounds you and others do. I had decided I would never be able to produce the beauty I saw. After watching and listening, I am so inspired. I really think I can do this with sucess. You are a magnificent teacher. I so thank you. 😊
Ceri, you are not only an amazing artist but a fantastic teacher. You really know how to inspire. I get so much out of you walking through your process. I find you & Luise Henzel really are masters in teaching & the inspiration you both bring pushes to stretch my creative wings. I admire you a lot Ceri and I want to sincerely thank you for sharing your talent & time.
Thank you Julie, I truly love what I do and I’m lucky to be able to share skills with others whether they’re originally mine or helping promote other creators.
I realize this was a bit ago but I’ve just come across the video. Marvelous! I am anticipating a long afternoon of decorating pages. The doodling is so much fun. Thanks Ceri. I always learn so much❤
I don’t comment on your vids enuf ! As I say to Gayle … I watch her in the am and you in the pm :)) I always enjoy your work and am inspired :)) thank you ! 🌻
This was fantastic. As a scrapbooker, I can see me using this technique not only for the embellishments, but also for some backgrounds. I learned quite a bit from this video!
Hi Ceri. Another great video for our pleasure. I feel the same way about doodling. I always think mine looks bad or not good enough. Your doodling is great. I especially like the writing. You always inspire me Ceri. Thanks for all you do. I'm so glad you turned on your camera. 🙂
Near Chicago. Thanks so much for your wonderful ideas. I got some 1930's damaged books from the library (indoor) dumpster. I volunteer there. Tina, Al's wife
What a lucky friend who is going to get a beautiful art journal from you. I love those pages in the book. You are the most amazing crafter and you amaze me with each video how you choose your colours. Just a background page of yours is absolute art work for me.
I Ceri. Thank you so very much for doing all the research in trying to locate the Andy Skinner. I did find it in stockade supplies. I just had to have industrial in my stash. Love it Happy crafting
Thanks Ceri! The volume was great on this video and much appreciated! I really love your videos and your calm, confident manner. You have revived my interest in crafting. Debbie in Oregon, USA
Just watched this interesting video, Thank you for sharing and I really enjoy listening to you explain it so clearly ... Bless you and have a Great Crafting Day Ceri 😀💖🎨📙📘📗📒
You and I share the math difficulties, but you make up for it in so many creative and wonderful ways. I love that you used “not so desirable” 12x12’s. I have a plethora of them, and you have given me an eye opening on ways to use them. This would be a great way to make tags/journaling card for the current swap in Makers! Thank you for showing this. Loving the use of pens, and I adore the Wonky nets stencil from them. It has made its way into many pieces for me. Well presented and demonstrated Ceri!
Thank you Lisa, yup my ugly 12x12 papers are a great source of material for my gel printing, i own them and wouldn’t use them for anything else. Very often I’ll search the sales bins for 12x12 because they’re cheaper than a pad of art paper and i love working in that size but you’re right I do cut them down to be covers and ephemera. Maybe next year I’ll try and organise a challenge where people revamp an ugly 12x12 page, it could be with any medium, maybe ill even see if P&M would be up for helping me do it. Mmmmmm, pause for thought there.
Backgrounds are so fun to make. Yours are fabulous. Gayle is how I found out about you. Thanks to both of you. Your art is just amazing to my brain. TFS
I love the way you keep your stencils! I ran down to local thrift store and found an album that works great for me. So very happy to be able to see them quickly.
Thank you Lisa, I launch every fourth day and unfortunately thats the limit of the amount I can generate as I have other commitments but I certainly keep up with the TH-cams.
I’m really loving your process videos! Sometimes I disagree with your choices, but within a couple of minutes, I’m saying to myself that was a good choice! Other times I still disagree, but your work as a whole looks so interesting, that I might be finding my own style and still appreciating your artistic eye…thank you for sharing 😊.
Ceri…your experience and learning are so evident. Everything you do or don’t do is purposeful…every color choice, every choice of brand, every tool, is chosen carefully. Such an education for me!
Thank you Susan, I’ve been creating art or arty pieces the whole of my life and I think we all gravitate to what works for us and stick with it, why try something new if what you’ve got works.

Ceri, I love the transformation you showed us today! A friend happened upon a great yard sale for paper crafters, and gave me a bunch of duplicate 12x 12 papers that will be getting some version of this. I really like your idea for a notebook for rolling off your brayer; do you think this would work on the thin lined paper in spiral notebooks kids use for school? My son just cleared out a bunch of old school stuff, and it would be great if I could repurpose them. I always make colorful envelopes to send Happy Mail to my grandkids, and sometimes they even like to cut up parts of these colorful envelopes and make cards and things with them. It would be so nice to be able to have a notebook full of colorful papers to collage onto the cards, bookmarks, postcards, junk mail envelopes, and other goodies I make for them. I love gelli printing, but storage for everything can be a bit daunting sometimes…
I love your tab corner tool. Definitely be interested in your stencils/masks. Hope you’re having a good October, your voice seemed a bit down. As always beautiful pieces you created for us. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, as you’ve seen by the last PM Artist Studio stream I’ve just launched my first new stencil design with them and there will be more releases as the year goes by and I hope to release new designs each month in 2023, as for my older designs they were made for me and I don’t have the cutting files or facilities to cut anymore but I’m using a lot of them as inspiration for the newer versions. Thank you for your interest and support.
