  • I was in need of some more faux postage stamps for my ephemera stash so I thought I'd take you along with me on the process to share with you how I make them and use them. There are so many uses for these little focal points.
They're really useful and I hope you like them

I can’t go a day without watching 1 of your tutorials! They are so informative as well as giving me a chuckle from time to time. I kept pointing out the pink butterfly on the table but you weren’t listening! Lol. I put what I learn from you to use every day now. Thank you thank you thank you!

Ceri, I LOVE learning from you! Your tutorials are well-organized and simple to follow, and I can tell by your many tips and tricks that you are detail oriented, as am I. I particularly like that you encourage us to adapt items that we have on hand so we don't have to go out and buy unnecessary supplies or equipment. These faux stamps turned out just lovely. Thank you for the time you spent to teach us this process. Looking forward to your future tutorials. From Cheryl in AZ, USA

Just wanted to say thank you, for your lessons (and even companionship during the long nights, when things aren’t not so great for me, health wise!…6
…I am getting better everyday and I do love my crafting time, when I can do it.
Silly as it sounds I imagine you and your sister and Biscuit as far off cousins, …and even imagine that someday, you and I, having a cup of tea, while comparing crafty notes on a foggy, rainy day!).
….But as an older grandma in the U.S…. That can only happen in my heart… so best wishes and my your cup always be full!

There are so many things about Ceri's videos that I enjoy; his talent and willingness to share are marvelous, but one very important aspect of the videos that I think is especially important is his"if it works, it works, and if it doesn't, what have you lost?" attitude. If there was a school devoted, solely, to teaching the creative life, that should be the first lesson of the first class- being an artist \ crafts person \ creative means having a willingness to take risks to a certain degree. A curiosity, a willingness to try something without being so fixated on how it turns out. Years ago, I read a quote that said, " Even Picasso had to BECOME Picasso," and he did that by taking risk. I am not advocating taking truly dangerous risks, but do not let fears of things not turning out as you envisioned (the elusive, even mythical "perfect") to hold you back.

Ceri, I simply want to thank you for your thorough and delightful videos. I smile as much as I learn, what a gift that is! And I hope I have a tip that will help with the sticky ends of your tapes and the challenge you have getting them started again. I simply fold the end of the tape back on itself when I’mfinished using it. Then it’s easily started the nect time I go to use it.
Again, thank you for being you!

Hello, Ceri! I've still pretty new at junk journaling - only about a year or so in. I recently found your channel and watched several of your videos in one day. You are now my favorite go-to channel!!! This is a wonderful video as is your video on how to make postcards utilizing paper scraps that would otherwise be thrown out. That was absolutely brilliant. You gave me so many ideas that my head is spinning. LOL. I also think it is rather beautiful that you are a male crafter. I appreciate your guided videos as you are so easy to listen to and follow along with. You always have great advice to give as well. I'm looking forward to watching all of your videos. I learned the pinking shears thing that was cool I tried it as you were doing it because I was fussy cutting while you were talking. That is so cool to see instant results.

Tip: Barber thinning shears work perfect for DIY stamp edges!! Great video! I like the idea of using washi tape ! Will try next, since I have the thinning shears now!

Thanks for sharing. I just found a sewing tracing wheel which makes a nice stamp-like edge.

Thank you Ceri for sharing! I love this idea and the larger washitape is so pretty! I never have found any like that! All mine is mostly holiday or birthday related. Love the butterflies 🦋 Tammy

Thank you Tammy, I found the wider butterfly washi on Etsy but it’s been a while so I’m not sure which shop had it.
