I’m 12 days post op .. did eyes & full tummy tuck .. my eyes healed well .. I iced my eyes every 20 min when I got home till I got my stitches out .. which was 7 days .. .. ty for your share
To be honest I think doctors should let patients know they will have a scar even after 6 weeks. Right now I’m on day 5 and I’m scared of the scarring I will have. This isn’t a piece of cake like I thought. They say in 2 weeks you’ll be good but definitely not. I’m miserable right now unfortunately. I got the brow lift too. I wish I would have only done the brow lift but my doctor advised to do the eyelid as well for the brow lift to look good.
Hey! Sorry I haven’t been on. The scar is looking so much better still a bit visible but honestly only to me. No one ever thinks I got eyelid surgery. Use sunscreen after 6 weeks or more so the scar won’t thicken. It’s not so scary after all promise.
I’m going through the same process I’m on my 3rd week and still have scabs and it’s healing .. the Dr told me that I could where makeup after a week which wasn’t the case.
I’m 13 days post-op and getting my sutures removed tomorrow. So frustrated that my doctor leaves them in TWICE as long. Haven’t seen him since my procedure because he just relies on the selfies I send to monitor my progress. My incisions seem to be placed a tad too high and likely won’t be hidden in my natural crease. Looks like I’m going to be wearing copious amounts of eyeshadow to hide them for the foreseeable future. Definitely not a skilled makeup artist, so this will be an interesting journey.
@@gopal108b5 At least 5 years. Performed the surgery on his assistant, who sells it really well. He used absorbable sutures & they’re much larger than they should be. I’m over a month post-op & my scars are borderline keloid. Still very raised & red. Make up only covers the redness & now I look OLDER, not younger. They’re definitely too high & not hidden at all. Been using SKINUVA scar gel, but it’s a slow process. I’ve made an appointment to see a different surgeon (one that does revisions) for a second opinion. My doctor & his assistant keep telling me that it’s fine, but all a bunch of gaslighting. I have a big family event in June & I can’t go looking like this.
I’m almost 2 months post op. I did upper & lower, the scars are healing nicely but i didn’t think it’d be this hard to get used to the new eyeshape. My biggest insecurity were my eyebags & i’m happy with the result of that procedure. I also did my upper lids because they started to sag, but overall i was happy with my eyeshape & also told the dr this. Now i feel like i lost my almond eyeshape & they’re a lot rounder. I sometimes don’t recognise myself even tho people around me assure me it’s not noticeable i had anything done. I still hope they’ll settle a bit though, it can take up to 6 months for the final result
@@emilievalcke3262 they will settle! It took mine a while too, there’s a lot of different stages you go through with it but currently I am super happy I did the procedure, love my eyelids and how even they are now, my shape is now more noticeable without the hooding. you’ll get there ❤️
@@COABF it’s still a little numb too, i notice when I apply my make-up, so it’s definitely still healing! But overall i’m happy I did it, I look a lot more well rested 💆♀️ it’s been an insecurity since I was 9 🥲
yes, the injection really helped with the raised scar and the pigmentation but i'm 3 months post and i still have a visible scar, it's very annoying. i might go back to my doctor and ask for another injection to see if IT helps accelerate the process.
I had my upper surgery 6 weeks ago and have a raised scar on the outside of both eyes. I'm very unhappy with it. I have an appt w/ my Dr next week but I'm fearful she's going to tell me there's nothing she can do. Any advice?
@@danderson9011 Unfortunately it takes time. I'm now over a year since the procedure. My raised scar went down significantly. I'm happy with my results. You need two full years for final results. But mostly 1 year to see the most obvious improvements.

Thanks for sharing, your eyes are really gorgeous and the doctor did an amazing job. Scar will heal, the wait is really annoying though.
You should see mine before and after pictures. After is much worse. I had ptosis repair and it didn’t work. Don’t know what’s next.
You are beautiful and your eyes look great.

How do you feel now the stitching is out? How many years has your doctor bern doing this procedure?

Staying in twice as long causes a permanent scar. Cutting above the crease is not good. Did you research the doctor?
If they do it with laser you have to wait 12-14 days @@gwenp9809
Wow that was an improvement. Cool
thank you so much!
Hii!! Did u opt for incisional or non incisional surgery??
Would be glad if u reply :)💜

Did you find the injection helped? I'm dealing with raised scar . Had upper bleth about 2 months ago.
