Hello kings and general can you make videos on Africa wars after decolonization and amazing video 🙏
WHEN
Looking forward to Tours, Charles the Hammer 👍
Hi, I'm the lead animator of this series and I'd like to address a few things. Firstly, in the previous video, the Rashidun army under Amr ibn Al-As occupied Tripoli and Sabrata in 641 but, he later withdrew his army under caliph Umar order hence why Tripolitania was still under Roman control. Secondly, I made a mistake in 13:36 with the name *Zubayr ibn Al-Awwam* but the script actually referring to his son - *Abdallah ibn Zubayr* . We will fix this mistake in our special extended video in the future.
EDIT: Someone pointed out the mistake of the year when Heraclius the elder was appointed as the exarch of Africa. The video shows *602* but its actually *600* . Again, this will be fixed in the special extended version.
As always, here are the Attila mods which we used this video :
- 622AD Beginning of the End mod (WIP)
- 555AD Age of Justinian mod.
- Lux un Umbra reShade preset.
- Ancient Empires Dust Particles.

There is a mistake. u mentioned that Al-Zubayr was in the army of Garghori, but this is a mistake. Al-Zubayr is an Arab soldier, and his father is the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad. This error must be corrected.
And the second mistake is that he said that Commander Abdullah was not participating in the fighting, but this is a mistake, so he participated in the fighting, and in the Battle of the Sea, which was mentioned at the end of the video, the Romans attacked his ship, but he managed to kill the soldiers and hit the iron chain that tied

@@KingsandGenerals you can find Theophanes the Confessor from byzantine sources, while the Arabian sources are many, it's one of the most important battles in the Islamic history and be sure many of your subscribers are waiting for it and I'm one of them actually
Sorry if I'm late with this, and though I believe you may have already found information regarding this, I would still like to mention these three pieces
of information that I have in come across regarding the topic:
1) Teophanes the Confessor is indeed one of the most reliable sources regarding these wars, however, please keep in mind he is not a contemporary.
2) The accounts and chronicles of the the Armenian historian - Bishop Sebeos of Bagratunis, who also wrote about the fall of Sasanid Persia to the muslims, and he is also has lived during these events.
3) Also, The Chinese dynastic histories of the Old Book of Tang and New Book of Tang mention several embassies made by Fu lin to emperor Constans II's court, furthermore, these histories also record that the Arabs (Da shi 大食) sent their commander "Mo-yi" (Chinese: 摩拽伐之, Pinyin: Mó zhuāi fá zhī), to besiege the Byzantine capital, Constantinople, and forced the Byzantines to pay them tribute. This Arab commander "Mo-yi" was identified by historian Friedrich Hirth as Muawiyah
P.S I would really appreciated it (I believe many others also) if you were to atleast comment on the second naval battle, after the Battle of Masts, that the romans most likely won, the same battle that is missing from the arabic sources, also if you were to fit in there somewhere atleast a small comment of the fate of the Colossus of Rhodes that would be amazing !

TWO THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ZUBAYR BIN AWAAM AND HIS SON ABDULLAH (PBUH)
1. Zubayr bin Awaam (ra) was one first reverts to Islam. He was the cousin of Prophet Muhammad (saww) and son in law of the first caliph Abu Bakr (ra).
2. Abdullah bin Zubayr (ra) who actually fought that day in this battle and conquered the city with his 30 men was the first baby to be born in Madinah for muslims and his birth was celebrated by all muslims bcoz Jews of Madinah had spread a rumour that after leaving Makkah, muslims had been cursed that's why no baby is being born by them. Also, when he was born Prophet Mohammad (saww) himself cut a very tiny piece from fresh date by his teeth and put it in the mouth of baby Abdullah bin Zubayr (ra).
3. This Abdullah bin Zubayr (ra) would later become a soldier and fight and win numerous wars for Islam. After the caliphate got into crisis and Muawiyyah rebelled against the fourth caliph Ali (ra), the caliphate broke into two pieces. When Ali (ra) died, after some time Abdullah bin Zubayr (ra) pronounced himself the caliph of muslims, and ruled over Makkah, Madinah, Egypt, Yemen and many other parts for 9 years. Then Hajjaj bin Yusuf came to crush him and bombarded Ka'aba with catapults and eventually killed him too and put his corpse on the walls of Makkah for many days.

Islam reached the Horn of Africa during Prophet Mohamed’s lifetime, in the 7th century, when Muslims were persecuted in Arabia and sought refuge in the Horn.
The refugees first landed in Zeila, Somalia then made their way further inland. Somalis began converting from their previous monotheistic religion to the monotheistic religion of Islam. The original caliphate is an incredible example of how far an eye for strategy and healthy dose of luck get you.
They had the best men of their time in companions of the prophet (pbuh).
It was narrated by the prophet before his death that Muslims would conquer Persia, Syria & many other land and would become vastly wealthy. He actually feared that Muslims would forget their duties towards God after they became rich. And we see that to be true. The first 40 years or so will always be the best period of Islamic history. After that, Muslims degraded themselves in worldly pleasure little by little.

Noooo. Please cover the battle of the masts. I was really hoping that would be next
Superb channel
I think who you meant there was Abd Allah ibn Azzubayr, the son of Azzubayr ibn Al Awwam and the future rebellious Caleph, and not Azzubayr the father himself.
The son, Abdullah, is known for his rule in the conquest of Africa during the reign of Uthman. His father, Azzubayr, was already a senior companion by this stage and did not participate in battle further beyond the conquest of Egypt.
@Kings and Generals
Please make the third season as quickly as possible pleaaaaaaseee

All thanks to the 4th Crusade campaign......
You gotta admit that the Franks were a force of nature during their sacking of Constantinople
Love this channel
Hey, I love the series, binge watching it
Could you make a video about the Muslim expansion when Muhammad pbuh was alive
Nice stuff like always.
4:50 A huge mistake. Emperor Maurice died in 602 AD. He could not appoint Heraclius the Elder as the Exarch of Africa.
Yeah, we made a mistake, should have been 600 AD.
Tiny correction at 14:17
Zubayr was not an unknown young officer. He was well in his 40s or even 50s at that point. He is the husband of Muhammad's sister in law and is the son in law of the first caliph Abu Bakr and had fraught in many major battles which means he was probably one of the most important figures of Islam at that point, way more significant than the army general himself
Hi can you please make a video on the Mali empire and Songhai?
