Unfortunately, this love is one side. Most of them don't have any consideration for their "brothers" from the rest of Africa. They always associate the dark coloris with slavery . First, all africans were nether slaves, secondly slavery lasted for 400 years which is nothing compare to the 300 000 years of black existence on the continent. Luckily there are some good and nice people too in north Africa. They must just stop refusing they are africans for a great of them. But we must love them as God asks us to do so.

Any human being in the world can simply book a flight to North Africa and observe that it is inhabited by Berber people (Pale skinned with dark hair and directly descended from Arabs who migrated from the Middle East), and yet, here you are, saying these funny things and believing them. Black Americans are the only group of people who are dumb enough to completely deny observable, visual proof of something. Your self esteem as a race is so low because of slavery that you resort to shutting out reality completely.

And while you are at it, also go ahead and explain to us ignorant non-black folk why all of the blacks of North Africa suddenly dissapeared after this supposed great event happened. Were all of the blacks rounded up and murdered? Or were they all placed on camels and then shipped to sub saharan Africa? 🤣 It is such a shame that all of the historians from every country in the world decided to get together and agree to hide this event from everybody. I can't imagine that the average North African city-dweller along the coast is equally Amazigh as a tribesman deep in the Sahara to the south, who still wears vibrant blue clothing. That's not to say that Arabized Berbers are more Arab than not, because they probably aren't. I think I read somewhere that Egyptians are related the closest to the Copts. They're not identical, Egyptians are a lot more influenced by Arab DNA than Copts are, but they are still more Copt than Arab.

The Almoravids were very dark-brown Mauritanian-Senegalese, physically different from the Berbers who lived north of the Sahara to the Mediterranean. They were not Moroccans, they were another population.
The Almohads were partly current Algerians from the Koumya tribe and partly current Moroccans from the Masmouda tribe of the High Atlas. Their Caliph Abdelmoumen and his entire Koumya tribe was located in Nedroma in Algeria before moving entirely to Marrakech founded by the Mauritanian Almoravids.
In addition the Caliph Abdelmoumen founder of the dynasty, the conqueror and conqueror over the Almoravids had brought 30,000 Hillalian Arab warriors from Algeria. Moroccans are far from playing the main roles among the Almohads.
Morocco had its sultans appointed by the Ottomans, had a sultan killed by the Ottomans, had cities taken and dictated its policies by the Ottomans.
The Ottomans beat them several times and withdrew on their own, not following an armed defeat.fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conflits_maroco-ottomans
Wikipedia is just an introduction to the subject, we can go deeper into the matter elsewhere.

The late medieval pre-Ottoman conquest period is to me the most interesting since it has been a big gap in my knowledge in the history of the region. We tend to only learn about the great powers in history and their conquests of far away foreign lands, rather than focusing on a region and its indigenous peoples and independent states.

It's ironic how in great scheme of things we are, as a region, overlooked by the world powers dispite being their first targets for conquests, colonization, indebtures etc we seem irrelevent to humanity's progress nowadays dispite being its fuel for what it seems to be all of times.
