Wow this was indeed CHUNKY! Looking forward to the next video in the series as well as the rest of the SwitchUp content. Hopefully the next All Patched Up will have some information on the performance of Another Crab's Treasure in handheld if Aggro Crab are able to fix it and Nintendo don't take forever to verify the update 🤞. Thanks Mark!
I can’t stress how important these episode are for both consumers and developers. Apart from my penned reviews for this great channel 😉 this is by far my favourite part of it. The Switch is hanging by the few tendons it has left and we will all welcome the next iteration. I’m hoping to see a way to fully optimise current releases on it.
Kudos to your efforts and patience to go over these again after a patch. Yeah, I agree, while the switch could technically perform with decency for these power hungry games, in honour of battery life, performance has been chopped. But consider taking these games on the go (along with the rest of your Nintendo library) as a perk, rather than a privilege. Well done to the Devs for optimising their software as much as they can too.
Best patch ever is what they did with Disco Elysium on the switch. First time I played through the game was horrible, and I didn't understand why people liked it, now this version might be the best way to enjoy this game.
These videos are THE crucial factor in whether or not I buy a full price game that had a bad launch. I don't usually buy games day one anymore....too many flailing launches.
I don't think we will ever see a redemption story like No Man's Sky ever again. The fact they've actually managed to achieve those original expectations and then exceed with so much free content!
Yeah but that was years AFTER EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHERS COMPLAINED ABOUT NO GAME. They fixed it, however few people will come back to see the game after the butchered promise of the best game ever deemed or created by man
Apart from the PS2, the Switch is the only console I know that just has offered so much in its lifetime. I think juice has finally been squeezed out the Switch, the legs are fully stretched, but still we have more patches and more releases than the next gen platforms.
The Switch is the PS2 of this generation in terms of longevity and they both have a lot in common with them being the weakest consoles of their generations.

I have to say No mans sky is such a pleasure of mine. If you are like me and are heavily interested in anything space related but have nowhere near the smarts for it in real life then you can really scratch that itch with this game. And I know I utilize barely half of what this game offers and i still have a blast. Perfect for when you are laying in bed and have something going on the TV. Also Mark, I just gotta say I got your invite in star wars hunters as right at the same time my niece who I was babysitting woke from her nap so I had to sign off. But your guys level of interaction with the community is top notch. I'd still be here even if it weren't there but it really does set you apart! Many thanks - Love these patched up videos as always

To give a little bit more info about the Hitman patch (since I also revisited it on the site I reviewed it for): * Stability has improved. Didn't encounter some of the issues you did with my (very!) extensive amount of the time with the game, but there was a major visual bug with the text that has bit rectified. * Improved interactions for the most part. Some of the finnicky things are now much easier to do. Notably the laser on the 'You Better Watch Out Stage', which was a nightmare to trigger. * Speaking of which, some bugs have been squashed too. The lasers used to reactivate, and now do not unless triggered a second time. * Coin has been fixed! Well, throwing in general. He used to have a very limp throw, but now he chucks as well as he should. That means you can break the swimming pool roof glass with a coin again. Huzzah! The only major thing that they haven't fixed is the human shield interaction, which still is almost impossible to pull off sometimes. Aside from the tutorial, where they basically give it to you, it's super hard to do elsewhere. This is made easier by going into first person, but that is hardly idea. All in all though, they did a good job at straightening it out!
For Eiyuden Chronicles, it seems most people experience crashes after doing some base building. You should look more into this because that's what the community is pointing towards for issues (beyond the menus and long loading times)
They also fixed the Lam recruitment bug on Eiyuden Chronicles, so that's a big plus for people with a good chunk of playtime and no save point to recruit her at the time.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed in a game when it comes to Eiyuden chronicles. I was a backer for this and chose the switch version. I don’t think there is any excuse for the crap storm this version contains
Johnny Cage didn't make it in the thumbnail this time around. Maybe next time... I really like this channel for keeping people up with updates. Concise and easy to digest. Good job!
I've played 45 hours of Imagine Earth since the patch and I've not had one crash. Had the sound stutter a bit at the end of one planet after I'd completed the missions, but nothing more than that.
Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes giving me strong Unity vibes with the different quality modes and the framerate dependency on the battles. It kind of looks like they just implemented the default engine quality settings.
So happy I snagged a copy of Eiyuden on Switch. Can’t wait to take that sucker on the go and huge props to the devs for fixing lots of issues especially the frames. Great work as always guys!
I believe is unacceptable hear the developers say that Switch isn't powerful enough to run a smooth 60fps Hitman experience when we have extraordinary ports with better framerates and havier graphical architechture.
Just to say THANK YOU for doing this series. It's so cool that you're highlighting the updates and patches and letting us know if the games are in a better state. Its a real service. Sláinte! 🍻
I just started playing No Man's Sky. I have it on easy just fly around mode and it's so much fun and I'm amazed it runs so well on Switch, more so in handheld. Great job to the developers there. Keep the great work up!
I've had a bug since the update of the three performance modes for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and the 505 Games support Twitter account liked my tweet and so seems to be aware of the problem: -I play in performance mode all the time, but every time I enter combat or change zones, the mode seems to change randomly (like the blur comes back) and the only way to get back to performance, is to change it back in the options (even if the option say performance, the blur pretty much say I'm on middle/high). But it's annoying to have to do it every 5min, I hope this will be fixed.
Just beat Adrift tonight, absolutely brilliant. I did it on a new save didnt even know about the save issue i just thought thats how you did them haha.
I still can't believe Hogwarts Legacy runs on the Switch along with No Man's Sky. I couldn't even get the game to look that good on my desktop with an overclocked i7 4770k and a 1030 GT DDR5 overclocked with 20 gb of ram, (I know the GPU isn't the best but it's much better than a Switch.)
@@SwitchUpYt Also, super disappointed that Hitman BM doesn't hit 60fps, that was the main thing holding me back from getting it because it runs at 144fps on my laptop. MERP.
Not really fair comparison comparing your Desktop GPU to an off the shelf one on what is essentially an Nvidia shield from 2015. I consider the Switch an Xbox 360 just slightly more powerful.
Finally picking up hitman been waiting for a patch! Loving how much work has gone into no mans sky though !! Shame about that last patch but I’m sure they’ll fix it in no time

Still waiting for the day that Mortal Shell gets a patch cuz its roguelike gamemode is so much fun, it's just unfortunate that it has a crashing problem whenever you load into a different area and the axatana weapon also has a bug which is exclusive to all platforms and not just the Switch. I love this series and you guys are the only ones that do stuff like this to check up on Switch games that were released with performance and bugs to see if they were patched up. The Switch is definitely more powerful enough to run Hitman Blood Money at 60fps with effort but I do agree with you regarding the amount of under clocking Nintendo’s done with the Switch which is to avoid overheating.

If the game isn't right, then don't sell it. What happened to testing before taking peoples money? I bought Fenyx Rising on Switch and it crashed in my first 5 minutes, after 3 crashes and a bug that locked me in a wall, I got rid. 4 crashes in 2 days is a joke. I'll not buy from them again. when NMS first came out on switch and i was playing it, i lost an S class ship and an exotic ship each to the game crashing. yet to find s class weapon tho
Glad to hear about Eiyuden! I made a pact with myself that every week that pass that it's not fixed to satisfactory level before the physical release on switch would be how much LESS I'm willing to pay to get it! Namely I might get it digital or physical. But I refuse to buy something that needed this level of patching at full price! So when a good sale pops up for it, i'll get it!
NMS still hasn't fixed the crash upon entering your bridge IF PIRATE CAPITAL SHIP! If I can build my own INTERCEPTOR I could get rid of most of them because they are the main cause of the crash from community research but still nope! It's been reported a bunch of times but still no fix and there is no work around! You crash and reboot and can access your capital ship but no walking to bridge slowly and no waiting a bit to start walking. As soon as the bridge goes to load CRASH! It's extremely annoying!!
I don't know if they've patched Slave Zero X yet but would love to see it on an All Patched Up episode whenever they do! I was so excited to play it and absolutely gutted that the Switch version had such terrible performance so i'm poised to buy it whenever it actually becomes playable
Just got a switch oled today already have games for because I used to own a switch but batman arkham knight is a bit of a pain to play at the moment Mostly because of the batmobile
Instill don't understand whether Adrift is another expedition, a different playmode or something different altogether. The blurb says that it's much more, but from what I'm seeing it's "just" another expedition update. Can anybody help a dense brother out?
I guess I gotta check up on my Hogwarts Legacy on my Series X version then. I also have the Switch version for my sis for her Christmas gift. I'm hoping they fixed that weird light glittery and pixel mess glitches on the Series X. It happened occasionally during the gameplay, and especially common on the pause menu.
Cheers foe the tip off around no mans sky, I've sank hundreds of hours into it, if my save file was to perish I think id just have to flush my Switch down the loo
I sold my No Mans Sky a week after Interceptor launched because that update broke my game. Keeps crashing near interceptor-related content. Reinstalling didnt help. The community didnt help. TH-cam didnt help. The internet didnt help. Not even hello games helped. It's like the problem doesnt even exist and nobody saw my plea for help.

Imaging a 2D HD game having a graphical mode. Seriously lol
😂
I don't know if they've patched Slave Zero X yet but would love to see it on an All Patched Up episode whenever they do! I was so excited to play it and absolutely gutted that the Switch version had such terrible performance so i'm poised to buy it whenever it actually becomes playable
Just got a switch oled today already have games for because I used to own a switch but batman arkham knight is a bit of a pain to play at the moment Mostly because of the batmobile
Yeah it's in a bad way
Awe was still hoping to see a patched up episode featuring the improvements to The Last Faith maybe next time :-)
Eiyuden still has a long way to go. The loading times are nowhere near acceptable
Instill don't understand whether Adrift is another expedition, a different playmode or something different altogether. The blurb says that it's much more, but from what I'm seeing it's "just" another expedition update.
Can anybody help a dense brother out?
Thanks for these updates 😊
RE: NMS, expeditions are always their own saves, so people's sanbox saves should be fine.
Excellent
Thanks for these precious updates!
Hurray for Eiyuden being worth purchasing on switch! Got a giftcard for me birthday that has Eiyuden written all over it!
The run smooth now.😊
Ah yes! The best series is back 🎉
Cheers Mr Vetvoek
@@SwitchUpYt Great Episode! Maybe it is my time now to pick up dragon quest Monsters (on a sale though)
Dragon quest has been a ton of fun, def runs pretty bad some times but I still love it
I mean hell it's a miracle they get some games running at all on the Switch like Hogwarts.
The big update for Hogwarts Legacy that is adding new content comes out this summer
Thanks for what you do!
I was hoping they fixed the localization of Eiyuden chronicles
Every time one of these videos comes out and the Arkham series on Switch is not part of the patched up games, my hopes for it dim just a bit further
I sent the developer an email the other day 😂
Did this channel ever do a review for the switch version of no mans sky?
Yes search it up
@@SwitchUpYt thanks mark. The game is currently 50% off in my country and according to Twitter 4.72 update is out now for switch
My fav series! Thank guys
I still can't get Borderlands 2 to open no matter how many times I erase and redownload or how many hundreds of GIGS I free up.
I would buy No man's sky for sure with these patch up
Thats crazy ! How can Eyuden chronicles cannot give stable 30 fps !?
