  • FREE EBOOKLET www.sweetnaturalliving.com Every day I go to the market and buy food for me and Mikkel. It's part of my daily routine, and I combine it with some exercise on the bike. Check out all the awesome produce I get here on Koh Phangan in Thailand!
Shopping with a bicycle is the best way to get all you need for a high produce lifestyle! As long as you pack the food intelligently, you'll have little to no bruising.
Koh Phangan has had some pretty awesome fruit while we've been here in March and April. Some of the best papayas (red lady and something called kagdam?), as well as pretty good mangoes. The bananas has also been excellent. Most of the fruit was local and from the island! Lots of organic stuff as well.
Koh Phangan is definitely a good location as far as fruit availability, quality and price comes.

When you talk about "living" in a country like Thailand, do you mean that you just rent a house for as long as your tourist visa permits you to stay? Or do you arrange a working visa to stay there for a longer time?

Thanks for showing us all this places on Koh Pha-ngan to buy fruit!
I am there for several weeks now and were almost everywhere you guys have been to, it seems.
Unfortunately I am a little bit discouraged in terms of fruit quality when it comes to my experiences so far … it could be a lot better, I guess.
Maybe I am just a spoilt child caused by all that organically farmed tropical fruits I orderd back home, but I doubt that. I mean, I am in the tropics right now … there has to be some awesome tasting fruit somewhere! Organically produced, without the use of bad chemicals, etc.

I have a genuine question: I've seen some other videos of you where you talked about what you eat when you're in Norway. I'm wondering: how does shipping mangoes and bananas from overseas come together with the ecological aspect of veganism? Wouldn't it be better to try to eat locally plant fruits and veg?

I didn't get the name of the market stalls and the organic grocery shop you recommended & where are they - south of the island? I'm visiting in the future, and would love to know where to go. Also, where do you recommend to stay. I like peace & quiet, not partying & noise (I was thinking somewhere on the west coast. I don't need to be near a beach). Also, is it easy to rent a bicycle (not a scooter)? Thanks in advance!

i live in germany in a smaaall village and i have cows and pigs and sheeps all around me and actually since this summer those animals arent allowed anymore to go outside and there is this fucking loud machine which sucks the fucking milk out of their udder and it goes every fucking 15 minutes. so what i actually wanted to say when you live at the beach or so it is so much easier to eat only fruits or fruits and vegetables..it's so nice to live where for example you live. the fruits taste so much better they taste like they should. so so nice. because when it's finally summer and we get those fruits like papaya and so in our grocery store, we can be glad when we find one fucking fruit that tastes like....something....in germany the grocery stores are shit ! but anyways keep it up :) !

+Fausto Levantesi even someone does have b12 deficiency, there are plenty of vegan foods fortified with it. Or of course you could just run your mango in the dirt before eating it lol

+Kain Odinson You're right that carrying a little bit more fat than this is ideal for that very purpose, but we're talking a couple of kg maybe, nothing major.

The concavity around your temples is a tell tale sign you are not getting in enough calories. I love your videos but I encourage you to get checked out...I think something is wrong.

+Sandra Hess those areas near my temples are very dipped, it hasn't got anything to do with calories, its simply bone structure, and you have to be very overweight to hide the natural shape of your face

+Tom Donkers The general populace has a very distorted view of how the human body should be. The majority are overweight and the correct body size is seen as underweight. Mads looks great to me.
