I love the Cerave, but it gives me a lot of closed comedones. I just ordered the Vanicream, and I've heard from people that had the same issue with the Cerave that the Vanicream didn't have that issue. So hopefully it works out! Edit: nope, vanicream clogged my pores too. I think worse than cerave. I switched to the Soon Jung line and that seems to be working well.
Hi, what's your skin type? I used Nivea blue thick last winters it clogged my pores for the first time ever., and now winter is coming again im confused either i should go for cerave Cream or not as the cerave lotion doesn't givee enough hydration orrr I should go for Vanicream😭
From the Windy City 🌃. I have eczema especially on my upper arms. The cold winters and having the heat on, dry out my skin and hair. Vanicream is thick and saves my skin. Cerave is thinner and “watery” . Maybe for the spring or summer cerave would be ideal though.
I was at the pharmacy today I had vanicream and cerave in my hands and didn’t know which to choose so I bought the cerave. The cerave is too matte I like a little shine to my face so I’m going back to buy the vanicream.
I live in fl and obviously it’s humid as hell, I have dry combination skin and the cerave gave me a dry rubbery texture. Ima give vanicream a try bc I feel I need that extra moisturize.
I use Vanicream lotion on my face not the cream and it works great for me. Vanicream just came out with a moisturizer that has Hyaluronic Acid in it...
I actually love when you put a lot of cream on, makes me feel like it's really making the product shine, really shows how it performs, maybe that is just my impression but i like it so much ❤️ if creams were that cheap here in Brazil i would do the same thing but the stores make it look like Cerave is luxurious, so pricey and not just drugstore products like It is in other countries 😠 i got emotional about it sorry bae, luv ya ❤️
OMG your review is so on point, you are so right, it depends on your climate. Vanicream is made by Minnesotans, a state that is mostly dry and cold, also vanicream just has the basics backbone of a cream, nothing lux and least likely to sensitize.
Vanicream side leaves a glow! Looks very healthy. Just found your channel. So glad I did. Your personality & smiley happy demeanor is sooo wonderful😁 Thank u for your videos. I have really dry skin so I need this info. Appreciate u love & light💛💛💛
Can not do Cerave, it's messed up my skin sooooo bad. The moisturizer, the SA wash and the hydrating wash. Nothing worked for me. I've been using the Vanicream though for a few days and I'm liking it so far.
Was wanting to try Vanicream. My skin already loves Cerave but just curious about Vanicream's benefits. After watching this, decided to just stick with Cerave.. ☺️❤️
Thank you for making this video! Perfect review to determine which one to buy or if you should try the other one. I have used Cerave for years but previously lived in the humid south and have moved to the NE near Canada. I wish I had seen this video earlier this winter
Good review & I needed the info as I've order some Vanicream. I use CeraVe cream in the summer (humid weather) and their night cream (more expensive) in winter/dry weather. I'm about t try Vanicream though because I can't use the cheaper large jar of CeraVe cream on my face (it itches). The CeraVe ointment though... that is gold for eczema or dry feet & elbows. BTW, your skin is amazing & you seem so joyful!
Idk if I’m being honest the Cerave side of your face looked better even before you put the moisturizer on so maybe it’s just that side of your face looks nicer?
I was wondering if the cerave cleanser and moisturizer cream is good for dry and sensitive skin in a dry humid climate I would like to know I am new to skincare and don’t want to mess up my skin and I am open to any suggestions
Hey hun my go to is Neutrogena hydro boost water gel because it’s summer...... But I do think the gel cream is pretty light weight just need a really good toner and serum 🥰😘😘🤗
When you flip Vanicream it says keep at room temp, do not freeze.. I'm a dude with Eczema, I need my ceramides . Vanicream uses sorbitol, also used with artificial sweeteners. Ummm no.
thank you for this video! Such a helpful resource because I’ve been seeing a lot of vanicream recommendations but your thorough review will have me stick to the cerave. Also, your skin is so beautiful!
Im using PanoOxyl and Cetaphil gentle skin cleaner with Neutrogena pore toner as well with Differin and witch hazel. Still breaking out only my jaws. Please help. I know to many products. But what's a 👧 to do?
If you’re only noticing your breakouts, now, along your jawline area... that’s normally related to hormones (hormonal acne). That’s what I’ve been dealing with for a few years now, ever since having my kids. And with hormonal acne, I was told it is best to try to heal it from the inside out. Balancing out your hormones and gut health/liver health... things like that, and it should help to clear it up! There isn’t a whole lot of topical products, unfortunately, that can help with hormonal acne from what I’ve learned! Your comment is 2 months old, so I do hope that you’ve been able to find something, by now, that has been able to help you! 😊
It may be hormonal and not product caused. When I get my period I break out on my jaw line. Also witch hazel can irritate some people’s skin so maybe stop using it.
I used Cereve cream for a few years but this year it has a weird chemical odor. I thought I got a bad one but smelled several in 2 stores and they smell. I noticed it with the hydrating cleanser first so it must be a preservative or something. I also searched the amazon q&a section for odor. Yep, its a thing. Sooooo it has helped me try others that are working even better for my dry sensitive skin. Now I’m using albolene cleanser, Indeed Hydraluron hylauronic on wet skin, and for moisturizer is aveeno baby eczema balm (wooooo so nice and I am more moisturized overnight this way) I am also using eucerine advanced to ease into using alpha hydroxy acids and my skin is changing! More smooth and less irritated. I want to use your boo - the ordinary glycolic but I’m not ready yet. Oh and my sunscreen is cereve tinted mineral. Its basically my foundation since my skin texture and color has improved. Gonna go stock up on it before it is changed. I appreciate your videos! 💕💕
Late but I just got the lotion and thought I bought a bad batch. It seems the new formulation smells that way. I was actually going to purchase the cream and return the lotion as it’s not hydrating enough. Not sure anymore. You mentioned the hydrating cleanser smelled chemical too? The SA cleanser I bought at the same time smells fine as far as I’m aware which is strange. Maybe the hydrating products have a new ingredient that gives off the smell. The lotion irritates my eyes enough without putting it around them, must a strong chemical for it to let off some type of fumes that affect your eyes - did you experience this ?
I have cereve lotion . Really nice 😍. But I just started using vanicream cleanser so should I keep using vanicreAm w/ cereve lotion? Or vanicream w/ vanicream lotion. I like my skin care to match that’s all.
Black gal saying there are to many white lol We love you silly no matter wich white we are ....BTW Happy late holidays honey hope yours was awesome... Vari looks a bit oily . The biggest would be will it make us break out .
Cerave irritates my skin and it turns red. I will try Vanicream.
Me too girl vanicream seem gentle for me or nivea
did it work?
Me too then I switch to vanicream it doesn’t irritate
What did you think Tiara?
I love the Cerave, but it gives me a lot of closed comedones. I just ordered the Vanicream, and I've heard from people that had the same issue with the Cerave that the Vanicream didn't have that issue. So hopefully it works out!
Edit: nope, vanicream clogged my pores too. I think worse than cerave. I switched to the Soon Jung line and that seems to be working well.
How is the soon jung one?? Also can you tell how long does one tube of soon jung lasts??
I use cerave baby lotion. My face hateds cream consistencies
Hi, what's your skin type? I used Nivea blue thick last winters it clogged my pores for the first time ever., and now winter is coming again im confused either i should go for cerave Cream or not as the cerave lotion doesn't givee enough hydration orrr I should go for Vanicream😭
No way it clogged pores
You may have oily skin or combination skin
If you are like me and cerave burns you while cetaphil makes you skin have acne, I personally recommended vanicream. But try at your own risk.
Why would you say vanicream use at your own risk ? I have the moisturizer but is there anything bad to recommend of it
@@alyssagallegos1071 no vanicream was recommended to me by my doctor father, who btw has perfect skin at 77!!!
Ok why is her skin smoother than a baby
Omg thank you lol... I try it use to be a mess in my older videos 😭😭😭 I am happy my skin is getting better 😘😘
She has great skin
I like Vanicream A LOT better. Cerave had ashy
looks like your comment cutoff. Cerave had a Ashy Residue?
Serave is dimethicone(Silicone) base cream. Vanicream is petroleum base.
From the Windy City 🌃. I have eczema especially on my upper arms. The cold winters and having the heat on, dry out my skin and hair. Vanicream is thick and saves my skin. Cerave is thinner and “watery” . Maybe for the spring or summer cerave would be ideal though.

The vanicream clogged my pores after a few days but the cerave doesn’t seem to clog my skin!
Vanicream is so thick lol 😂 and the packaging says no clogged pores 🤣🤣😂😭 the lies!!!
Shundara Castion I knowwww! It worked pretty well on my body though! I used it up and have switched to CeraVe!
@@Shundaraa They're not lies. Creams and lotions work differently with different skin type. Just like our DNA, our skin are also different.
I live in fl and obviously it’s humid as hell, I have dry combination skin and the cerave gave me a dry rubbery texture. Ima give vanicream a try bc I feel I need that extra moisturize.
How it’s gone?
I use Vanicream lotion on my face not the cream and it works great for me. Vanicream just came out with a moisturizer that has Hyaluronic Acid in it...
I love your personality. When you mentioned choosing colors to paint your house with, thatd how I feel in the beauty aisle. 🙃

I agree with you, I like Cerave slightly better however I do use them interchangeably lol 🥰🥰
You are a ray of sunshine! Was looking for a comparison between these two creams and you did a great job of helping me decide. Thank you!
Your skin is SO PRETTY!!!
I love the Cerave cream!!
It’s the best for summer 🥰🥰
Your skin is so young and supple that I can’t see which will really work for older crepey skin.
Vanicream side leaves a glow! Looks very healthy. Just found your channel. So glad I did. Your personality & smiley happy demeanor is sooo wonderful😁 Thank u for your videos. I have really dry skin so I need this info. Appreciate u love & light💛💛💛
Sometimes greasy can be mistaken for a “glow”
I think Cerave looks better ❤
Can not do Cerave, it's messed up my skin sooooo bad. The moisturizer, the SA wash and the hydrating wash. Nothing worked for me. I've been using the Vanicream though for a few days and I'm liking it so far.
A lot of people said the same brand don't make the best combo. We gotta find what works for us. Mix and match.
Vanicream is definitely Vaseline. Its main ingredient is petrolatum (the constituent of Vaseline petroleum jelly).
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream > Vanicream Moisturizing Cream. BUT Vanicream Facial Moisturizer (which is formulated with squalane and 5 ceramides) > both.
Did u try??? Cuz I have sensitive and dry skin ... does this moisture my skin
Vanicream is basically the US version of the Australian brand QV. Just the basics of petrolatum, paraffin, some silicones and glycerin.
Was wanting to try Vanicream. My skin already loves Cerave but just curious about Vanicream's benefits. After watching this, decided to just stick with Cerave.. ☺️❤️
Vanucream feels better on the skin. Cereve is sticky and feels gross on the skin.
Girl, you are so beautiful! Your skin looks so soft & smooth.
Thank you for making this video! Perfect review to determine which one to buy or if you should try the other one. I have used Cerave for years but previously lived in the humid south and have moved to the NE near Canada. I wish I had seen this video earlier this winter

vanicream is better in every way especially if you have sensitive skin get vanicream
What is the best cleanser and moisturizer, sunscreen for dry sensitive skin with dry and humid climates I am open to any recommendations
Your personality is adorable 💜
Idk if I’m being honest the Cerave side of your face looked better even before you put the moisturizer on so maybe it’s just that side of your face looks nicer?

Love this! I’m a Cerave lover and I live in Central Virginia which is a very humid area but I’m open to using Vanicream next winter 🤩
I do use them daily. I don't know witch ones to get rid of
Omgsh how sweet are you!? I love your laugh! Haha
So glad I found this video
I have acne prone skin which moisturiser is better for me? Cerave/vanicream lotion/cream? Help 🙏
I prefer caravel as well... but what is your go to cleanser usually??
Ummm it varies but right now I am using Vani cream and Krave
Will you please do a review of Vanicream spf? Thank you 😊
I love your personality! You are so funny and so real. Also, your skin looks amazing so I'm gonna try both to see what works for me!
Good morning hun, do you have a favorite moisturizer that is light weight!?! The night cream I'm using now is so heavy!! Have a great day!
Hey hun my go to is Neutrogena hydro boost water gel because it’s summer...... But I do think the gel cream is pretty light weight just need a really good toner and serum 🥰😘😘🤗
Cerave pm moisturizer is awesome it feels gel like!!
I feel like the cerave side looks better. Your skin looks more supple and hydrated on the cerave side compared to the vanicream
Ur skin is so flawless. #goals!!
New sub .... why ..... YOUR PERSONALITY!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t see any texture on either side. Your skin is beautiful
hiii! I would lovee for you to review ponds creams or something from clean and clear!
I did a ponds cream video 🤗🤗
I like CeraVe I just don't like that it burns my face lol. Never tried Vanicream.
Great video, awesome personality, thank you.
I was just going to purchase the cerave cream! Thanks for posting❤ is it suitable for combination skin? Which one is better? The lotion or the cream??

Tell how to use vanicream
I like the feel of Vanicream but I’m not crazy that they use BHT…so I wouldn’t be buying it.
Ur so cute i love ur personality!
But vanicream has hyaluronic acid and 5 ceramides?? It says on the package...
But cerave contains parabens which is sad ☹️
The cream doesn’t anymore
The moisturizing cream still does have parabens...methylparaben and propylparaben.
I agree. And I like you. Subscribed.
