Congrats on the Pickaroon! Enjoy!!
Thank you
Nice win Mike. I love mine. I won mine also, on Allen family firewood. They can pluck out rounds nicely.
Yes sir Mr Kenny. Great tool to have in the woodyard
very nice buddy. Very nice tool when I saw it in person!
Thank you Mr Joe
Congratulations on winning your new tool ❤
Thank you!
Congrats Mike, good addition to the wood yard 👍🚜
Hey Mr Len. It is for sure. Did the blue thunder come in yet? If so how does it work
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead yes, but it was at customs for 3 weeks, they didn’t contact me, anyway haven’t really tried yet, hopefully tomorrow and doing a video 👍
@Lens-KeepingBusy awesome Mr Len I'll be watching for it.
Hi Mike. Congrats on the win buddy. I’ve been watching Travis’s channel recently. The picaroon you won looks like top notch. Take care.
Hey Thank you. The pickaroon works great. Take care
Congrats on the win!
I never even heard of such a tool but it looks really handy.
Hey Stocks. It's is a very handy tool.
Also great job on your videos. You do great editing. I'm gonna check some more of your videos out when I get a free minute and I just subscribed.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead Thanks for watching and subscribing, Travis recommended your channel. I cut my own wood every season so hoping I'll fit right in here. I have a vintage Echo saw restoration video coming soon. Every bit of support means a lot so thanks again. I look forward to checking out more of your channel.

Oooo nice
Nice shin stabber or noggin knocker. (Nebraska woodSTR) got hit in the forehead with his a few months ago 😬
I don't have one as I am not dealing with sticks like others, but I do see where it can be handy 😉👍
Hey Daniel. That sounds painful. It is a handy tool for sure.
Brandon laughed, I'm definitely afraid to use mine - ha!
Looks like a pretty sweet Pickaroon Mike!! I love those things! Anything to save my back! LOL Best, --J.Andre. / Old Iron Acres
Hey J. It does work well. I don't know why it took me so long to own one of these they help alot
Morning the real okie 🤪
Hey Mr Todd. Thanks for stopping by
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead the "real Okie". hahahaha
That's probably the closest I've seen to the same pickaroon design, we get from a local black Smith.
We have them add a block of steel to the back side as the wedge driver. Use it to hang on to a board to keep it from flying off, and driving in wedges to keep timber bind from putting heat in the circular saw blades.
.
Anything other then cool to the touch means something is not right on a circular sawmill.
That's great information, BG. This pickaroon is real nice quality.
Congrats on the winning the pickaroon. 👍👍 I use a pulp hook but I need to try me a pickaroon one of these days.
Hey Thank you. What is a pulp hook. its not ringing a bell.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead looks like Capt Hook's hand with a handle on the end of it. haha. You'll have to google an image...
@@902hand7 lol ill check it out
This tool is absolutely essential if you're cutting logs. It will save your back.
I agree. Its been great tool to have around.
Bubbas and Papa? What a combo!
My daughter got me one from Stihl dealer. I use it a ton. Very handy tool!
Hey Mr Ted. Yes they are very handy. Back saver as well
i got a fiskars version and it really helps my old back and shoulders .
Hi Jeff. I Have the fiskars also. It is a fine tool.
Absolute must have for firewood, have mine with me every time I cut or split.
Hey Mark. I'm not sure why it took me so long to buy one of these and a cant hook. Those 2 tools are very helpful
Same here didn’t have one for first 2yrs
Whoops didn't mean to send you his stickers, enjoy!
Lol. I can send them back if I need to. Otherwise I'll find a place for them
Handle is coated with wax.
It felt like there was a coating in it. That's why I paused lol
