They have to do less reps and more things to do because the only reason that guy won is because he was better at the bench press, while the other guy had him in the other things. If they did less reps and and more of a Variety of lifting, it would show who is stronger.

I agree. Every person is different and will naturally have a certain bias towards particular exercises. But, on the other hand if they drop the weight and added more lifts wouldn't that be Crossfit? Not that there is anything wrong with that. However, most of the weightlifting world would think this would be a show about nothing.

what... john was clearly SUPER weak on the bench press. john's strength is his legs and posterior chain if you've heard his routine and saw the last battle. he got through lunges quicker, and he surprisingly did a lot of reps on the curls in one go. I don't think john is a really balanced lifter.

I always love watching Strength Wars, anyone who strength trains doesn't matter weightlifting, power lifting, calisthenics, crossfit and anything else along the lines of strength training could appreciate these competitions. Great stuff always entertained and at most marveled by the strength and heart of all of these competitors. I am a power bodybuilder, which does both power lifting and bodybuilding and would love to eventually join in on pain.

it was all a great acomplishment with three different exercises, with a squart exercise of few meter, bench press of 1 set 12 reps, curls. it doesn't matter who won, the passion and the gain is the most inportant.💪💪👏👏

I always enjoy strength wars with the "grain of salt" mentality. The videos are almost always a great display of endurance and athleticism, technical form tends to suffer a bit in these competitions.

John is my favorite competitor by far, he never quits and shows the most spirit. I was hoping he would take the win but as soon as he failed his rep on the bench I knew that hurt him too much to catch up...however, with the curls he blew me away with how many straight reps he did and gained on Daniel so fast but it wasn't enough ;p
