      Yes the last pullups were painful but fun to watch. Both did the squats in 1 set which is pretty good. Klinga was pretty happy after the victory;) congrats that was impressive!

    "He trains in his backyard. That's fun but not professional". The fuck? Training is training. Weights are weights. Your muscles don't know the difference between fancy equipment and whatever else. Your dedication is the only thing that matters.

      I agree with you 100%. I was rooting for him the "underdog" from the get go. I'm sure it was a powerful moment for him, he destroyed the other guy. I bet the other guy has his foot in his mouth now for saying " he's not professional"

    • @semiruu

      This world champion is probably worth nothing.
      Many people claim to be european or world champion....in fighting!
      There are many many different organisations, with many many different weight-classes....so its not sooo hard to become one. I was impressed as a teen when someone calls himself a kickboxing european champion...but today i am not...its mostly to push the ego

      I take it as an example of how having _balanced_ strength between being able to move your bodyweight and being able to push heavy plates needs to be struck. Can't really consider a guy strong if he can't do both to some degree.

    Why do these body builders keep going up against dudes that lift for strength and/or functionality? 9 times out of 10, they're going to lose. Powerlifters = strength athletes. Strongman = strength athletes. Calisthenics = power/agility athletes. Body Builders = models. Some dudes train for performance. Others train to look good. That's okay. But don't get a big head, thinking you're going to beat the guy who works hard to work harder, when you work hard to look better.

    • @Florian44790
      @Florian44790 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Peter Hofmann they both did high bar although fabian would actually benefit from a lower bar position. he might be experienced but he struggled with balance a lot due to excessive forward lean.

    • @tmapplesgaming2271
      @tmapplesgaming2271 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you deadlift you have no need to do low bar squats, the parallel position of low bar squats is the same position as the start of the deadlift pull. High bar and deadlift are the way to go.

      I think it has to with balance and explosiveness. I hadn't performed squats ever and in one month I jumped to a 250 lb squat. I only practiced the lift 5 days during that month. I play a lot basketball so maybe jumping had something to do with it. As for over head press, I was damn impressed. He was an animal all through out the comp.

    bodybuilder guy was doing half/quarter squats. WTF is this ? Crossfit ?

    • @Dukeyurii
      @Dukeyurii 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Maybe best of them ? What i usually see they are doing in gym is quarter squats , with fucking low weight .

    • @Dukeyurii
      @Dukeyurii 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      so Fit with capital F is a big deal ? Lol. Your full range of motion is not a key in CrossFit , man. At least in usual day to day workout , like everyone is doing. Crossfitters just cant do into squats. Squat with 50% of your bodyweight is an achievement ?

    • @Dukeyurii
      @Dukeyurii 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get the idea of CrossFit. Lets mix strength training with intense cardio and full body training from martial arts. That is a great idea. Been there , done that. But reality is different. What i see is making me laugh. No ass to grass squats , deadlifts with 50% of bodyweight. Even chinups are cheated. Idea is great , but execution is poor. Mainly because crossfit is so popular , that there are a lot of fake coaches that train inproperly.

    • @Dukeyurii
      @Dukeyurii 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats is sort of a joke. English is not my first language. So , crossfitters cant do into squats... its like a joke. Poland cant into space ) Something like that . Basically , what i mean - i never saw a crossfitter squatting more than his bodyweight .

    • @Dukeyurii
      @Dukeyurii 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At this point you are wrong , sorry. Deadlifts are not for endurance , they are for pure strength. 50% percent bodyweight deadlifts for a person who training for couple years ? Its just stupid. There is no endurance training in that. It is useless. What is a point to do something that easy for a lot of time ? I never seen crossfitter that could do double bodyweight squats and triple deadlift . Never. And crossfitters , usually , are big in torso , but small in legs

      Fabian's squats were not nearly as low as the other Klinga's so you would expect him to go through them quicker

      +Armandt van den Berg very true. Klinga had perfect form for every squat. Very impressive.

    Seems klinga is a very nice kind guy surprised by how he tried replying people in comments. Actually you inspired me too because i also do home workout so felt like you represented us.
