I bought my d3100 from new and I'm still shooting with it in 2023. The only upgrades i did was added a twin battery attachment and swapped the kit lens for a 35mm f1.8g lens. This combo have been married to each other since new. Great for portraits and landscape photography. Suits my needs and I've never ever used a photo manipulation software like photosuit or similar. I'm not a professional but i do like taking photographs that KNOW mobile camera phone can match❤️❤️😊👍

My first purchase on MPB was a few months ago. Going back to DSLR after few years with mirrorless I decided my entry level Nikon D5,000 wasn't challenging.
I purchased a Nikon D100 for $30. Couldn't be happier. A budget camera giving me a challenge in using some lenses I picked up over the years.
One of the things I like about MPB (and they make note of it under their photographs) is every single item. The photograph that you see is the registered item you get when you purchase it.
I love that idea when it comes to used or gently use or disasterly used camera gear!
As always, thanks for a thorough education in photography and DSLRS!

Great video & recommendation. Ive been thinking of investing in a used 150-600mm super zoom for a while & MPB often feature in my on-going search. Before taking the plunge & blowing £500 (UK pounds) of hard earned dosh I decided to give the company a try out & just ordered an old D300 body, in good condition but similarly with a little fungus under the LCD, 100,000 shutter actuations for £49! Itll be an ideal companion for my low shutter count D300s. If the transaction goes well ill be more confident in buying that lens. Duly subscribed to the channel 👍.

Hello from the Big Apple. You will enjoy that Nikon D300. I too never worried about shutter count, only a good deal.

Hi Carmine, I have found an olympus Em-5 mk. i on MPB in excellent condition but with some fungus in the rear screen for 83 dollars (they go for $150-$200 usually). Are how do you make sure the fungus stays as spots and doesn't grow to ruin the whole LCD? I was thinking leaving the camera in direct sunlight for a while and keeping it in a bag with one of those silica pouches, or maybe leaving it next to a UV light for a few hours.

Oh wow! Great Price. Direct Sunlight for 5 hours without clouds is fine. UV from sun or UV bulb will absolutely kill fungus. Remember the fungus "skeleton" remains...not a big deal at all :)
