From what I have heard, Number 1 issues sell bigger numbers. They will then include the original numbering when it comes up to an anniversary as those sell more . It is a slap in the face to the readers.
It's a frustrating strategy, I definitely feel it just makes it unnecessarily complicated to keep track of series, especially for new people trying to get into comics
The art in this doesn't look good imo and is carried by the coloring, which seems to be the case for way too much modern stuff. Are you picking up the Immortal Hulk? Thanks for the overview.
I didn't really mention the colouring and I should have, you're right it definitely boosts the quality of the artwork here. As for Immortal Hulk, I'll definitely be getting it as soon as I can and it'll probably be the next book I review on here
I bought and read the first one. The first arc is great. The longer arc I wasn't so into, I think I will keep it more for the idea than the love of the content. But it means I won't pick this up as I think there are much stronger stories to collect out there.
