Great picks! Eagerly waiting on a Sensational She-Hulk reprint (as well as Peter David Hulk vol 1). Glad Thor by WS is getting reprinted soon. Can't wait to add that to my collection & dive into it.
Nice list. Aquaman, Daredevil, Batman adventures, and Gotham central are definitely worth it. Other standalone omnibuses I can recommend are, Planetary by Warren Ellis and John Cassady, Doom Patrol by Grant Morrison and Richard case, Ultimates by Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch.
Cool Upload! I have just about all these Omnis but have barely started to read them all. Im still stuck in my Spiderman Omnis and my PS Artbooks which are really cool!
I appreciated this peek into newer books. I prefer Silver and Bronze Age so would include the Nick Fury omnibus, the Kirby 1970's Cap omni, and Man-Thing omni. From DC, the Adam Strange omni and Kirby's Fourth World and Kamandi omnis. Silver Surfer and Howard the Duck had standalone omnis, but wouldn't make my list. I have not seen DC's long O/P Doom Patrol omnibus, but it would be a winner. Thanks for the preview of Simonson's Thor. Yeah, for me the recoloring plus stripped-of-logo covers are dealbreakers. No letters pages either? No sale (maybe in Epic if with original covers and colors). Great video!
Peter David's Spiderman 2099 was so good! I liked peter's work on Hulk Storyline back in the 90s. I never followed up after the Death of Superman. I will check it out
Good selection. In my picks I'd probably end up dropping some of the Marvel titles ( aside from Daredevil and Thor ) for the likes of Batman by Loeb/Sale, Sleeper, Planetary, Y the Last Man, Doom Patrol and Animal Man ( both by Morrison ).
Hey man, love the videos and love the list, was just wondering, is your copy of Immortal Hulk holding up? Mine already has pages falling off the binding. 😅
Excellent list! For my picks, in no particular order would be: 1. Genis Vell Captain Marvel 2. Untold Tales of Spider-Man 3. Silver Surfer by Slott and Allred 4. Book of Doom 5. She Hulk by Slott and Bobillo 6. Maestro Collection 7. Spider-Man by Zdarsky and Kubert 8. X-Men: Age of Apocalypse 9. Spider-Man by Roger Stern 10. Alpha Flight by Byrne I would love to hear your opinion on my list, I tried to pick stuff you didn't list since you did a bang up job explaining why your picks made it!
The epilogue ending right at the end that teased some kind of Seven Kings/Kingdoms event ultimately came to nothing if I remember right, I don't think DC ever actually followed that up at all
There's one book I would add to your list: Venom by Cates and Stegman. It's a complete run, a good jumping on point and contains the entirety of Absolute Carnage and King in Black events! I really think it's one of the best omnibus ever.
Miller Daredevil, incomparable. I was reading some just this week. Spidey 2099, David is the man but that art looks awful. I don't DC but Aquaman looks alright. Simonson Thor is my number 1 all time. I would kill for that book. I do got all the issues tho. One day I'll read miracleman... I want that Byrne she hulk. Cool immortal hulk. Batman looks like newspaper comic strip. Sweet sin city
I was on the fence about whether I should include it because as you say there's earlier material that has a connection to it but ultimately I think whilst it's definitely beneficial to have read those and I would recommend people do, they're not strictly essential
Miracleman came to mind as soon as I read the title so I’m glad it’s on your list!

Nice list of great Omnibus collection, thanks for sharing them. My favorite is Frank Miller Sin City, also the Death of Superman. ❤👍
All great picks.
Fantastic list man!
Love that Spidey 2099 Omni
Detective Comics by Tynion and Spiderman by Chip Zdarsky are 2 of my favorites standalone.
The Zdarsky omnibus is one that narrowly missed out, there's plenty of other great standalone books!
I would have swapped out Byrne’s She Hulk for his Alpha Flight. But a great list and great presentation! 🙌
Alpha Flight is definitely another good one!
Nice list dude
Hey man, love the videos and love the list, was just wondering, is your copy of Immortal Hulk holding up? Mine already has pages falling off the binding. 😅
That's really frustrating! I haven't had any problems with mine so far, I'd try and exchange it if you can
Batman by Loeb and Sale should be here as well
It definitely would have been if I still had that omnibus, but I've got those stories in deluxe editions now instead
Excellent list! For my picks, in no particular order would be:
1. Genis Vell Captain Marvel
2. Untold Tales of Spider-Man
3. Silver Surfer by Slott and Allred
4. Book of Doom
5. She Hulk by Slott and Bobillo
6. Maestro Collection
7. Spider-Man by Zdarsky and Kubert
8. X-Men: Age of Apocalypse
9. Spider-Man by Roger Stern
10. Alpha Flight by Byrne
I would love to hear your opinion on my list, I tried to pick stuff you didn't list since you did a bang up job explaining why your picks made it!
That's a good list! Some of those were close to being on mine, like Stern's and Zdarsky's runs and Alpha Flight
The only thing I'd take issue with there is Slott's She-Hulk, which I thought was pretty weak, but too each their own.
still waiting on comic trove's top 10 reads od 2023 🙏
Some of them made it onto this list to be fair 😅
@@TheComicBookTrove not opposed to seeing it again on a top 10 vid 👀
I read the Aquaman omnibus, but the ending is open, what should I read that continues the story?
The epilogue ending right at the end that teased some kind of Seven Kings/Kingdoms event ultimately came to nothing if I remember right, I don't think DC ever actually followed that up at all
@@TheComicBookTrove ok thanks for the reply. :(

I want that Byrne she hulk.
Cool immortal hulk.
Batman looks like newspaper comic strip.
Sweet sin city
Immortal Hulk doesn't belong here. Peter David, Loeb's Red Hulk are must reads before you read this book otherwise it is rather pointless...
I was on the fence about whether I should include it because as you say there's earlier material that has a connection to it but ultimately I think whilst it's definitely beneficial to have read those and I would recommend people do, they're not strictly essential
