Correct me if I'm wrong but think this exact scenario is outlined in the manual for the issue of losing the right channel in a split mode signal chain... From the user manual (User Guide v1.2.0): Please note: If you’re mixing mono/stereo effects in slots around split node, the actual output may differ from what you expected. For example, use a stereo delay in the slot right before the split node with different delay settings on L/R channels, then use two mono filters in the slots right next to split node on both A/B chains, the result is you can only hear the delay settings on left channel. This is because effects with mono input use left channel of input signal ONLY. For detailed signal I/O processing, please check Effects List (page 41).
I am confused, In the fully separate left/right mode; if you only use the left input, you still have stereo out going on. I was expecting to only hear audio on the respective side. Is it because right side is not activated?
I tried that but if I funky panned the split (and also the mix) is loose the right channel completely. I think it all stems from the fact that mono nodes only take the left input. Once you run a stereo signal into that the right channel is just gone. If anyone solves this I'd love to see the solution - please post a patch export.
@@davlavmusic7070 are you on firmware 1.2.1? It works fine in 1.2.0. I upgraded to 1.2.1 and it really messed up the stereo processing. If I select mode II and hard pan, nothing goes into chain B at all.
@@davlavmusic7070 yes it seems. Although the issue is worse than you presented. It seems they completely messed it up. I hope it gets fixed in future updates and this isn’t permanent. Anyway you can try installing the 1.2.0 firmware again. I did it and got my beautiful stereo sounds back.
Is anyone still reading this thread? This issue is driving me nuts. I am considering to buy this unit but I need something that can provide dual mono input at the front of the chain, then blend the signal and yet still have a stereo output for ping pong and such. Has anybody been able to blend both input signals into a single mono signal, create an effect chain, and then have the output still be left and right stereo? Do you want follow?

How to use different number of pedals in each path.
how to put more than six pedals in one of the parallel signal paths in ampero multi fx

Not sure. I know there's been some changes/ fixes in recent updates. I haven't had a chance to test those.
Can a guitar and bass be plugged and used at the same time?
In mode II you can set the split node A & B balance/pan to be hard panned. Would that resolve your ping pong issue?

I am on 1.2.1. So perhaps this is a bug in that release?
