No actually, it’s now the complete opposite of a done deal. Funding for the stadium was left off the most recent VA spending bill and now if Leonsis wants to move hes been forced to pay for it completely out of pocket, Youngkin isn’t expected to push the stadium much longer and now that Leonsis knows the entirety of Alexandria’s city council AND Mayor is against the idea, the whole saga should come to an end soon. The Virginia Rebels 👍
Steling the best of 3 Woodbridge is by far the worst
Capital One arena is perfect. The arena is nice and modern. The location is central to the region right on top of a major metro stop and within a block of every line in the city. Moving to VA is stupid. I really hope the Commanders build on the RFK site.
Move back to RFK
DC is not the best place due to traffic issues and parking. Virginia has better areas that would be easer to develop into a top stadium
DC is fine. But WMATA needs to do better with late trains to encourage ridership. The biggest problem with sporting event traffic are the nervous suburbanites driving down M St. from Nationals Park, windows rolled up tightly until they get over the bridge. 😱
@@Hexon66 Shut up, most of the commute in the City to get to the stadium is interstate driving. You're not driving through no hoods to get to the Stadium.
It would be cool
If they Do a Commander’s Stadium and Wizard’s Arena all at RFK Site

Bank of america stadium in charlotte, nc is weird; it's beautiful on the outside, but average to ugly on the inside. Ride by bank of america sradium & look at the outside design of it, it's stately & lovely. But once you look at the inside of it, you're like UGHHH!!
Mr. Turned On By Translucency
I can't stand the Commanders name, just reminds you of the total absurdity of the left and their wokeness. There was nothing wrong with the Redskins name, they caved to a few butt hurt people that most likely never even watched the NFL. The Commanders name is horrible also,, should have gone with the Spiders or Sentinels (from the movie). I hope they don't go with a dome. DC is not a great city to host multiple SB. They should do what Buffalo is doing protect the fans leave the field open. They should go with some of the modern soccer style stadiums designs.
