Your interviews are always done with class, respect, passion and genuine love for cinema and those who work within it. Always a pleasure to watch one of your interviews, Jake. You always convey genuine enthusiasm and ask excellent questions. Keep up the great work, Jake. You are very good at what you do. ❤
As somebody who’s been subbed to this channel even before the notorious Django interview, I miss hearing it consistently. “If you ever come through Houston…”
Is it just the canera angle ir has gary got massive f"ckin' hands? For a minute I thought it was Kenny Everett doing his evangelical character, Brother Lee Love!
Great questions but Gary Oldman didn't really give great answers in this particular interview, which is fine, but I had looked forward to better answers.
@@Bale4Bond Yes! He’s a perfect director and doesn’t deserve any hate 😊. No you weirdo simply because he presents a very calm demeanor, has only been spoken kindly by everyone he’s ever worked with, doesn’t have any social media and isn’t involved in controversy.
@@AlBroMedia Lol, but Gary has said Nolan barely gave him any notes over all those years. He's usually more tough on the crew members which means he lets some bad takes by these legends get in the final films because he's nicer to them and shoots fast.
I think they're taking the poor Jackson Lamb's character over the top with all the passing gas - it's a bit too much. They do that to make up for weak plots.

Great interview! You really charmed Gary in the end. Sweet guy.
Brilliant actor. He and Daniel Day Lewis are the best of his generation. Seems to have become a nicer guy with age too.
Wrote & directed 'Nil By Mouth'.....gained funding for the movie by promising to appear in 'The Fifth Element' LOL
Both were utter genius!
I missed that one line here at the end: "I have a very comfortable folding couch, ready for you at any time..." 😂😂😂😂

@@hermunkulus Good old Jakey Jake! 😂
My favourite modern day actor
Mr. Old man’s character in slow horses treats his co workers as students , breaks their balls and yet is very loyal to them.
I worked with Oliver on his presidential biopic W. I can confirm. He's intimidating.
him tha best Dracula ever !!!!!
You'll always be Dracula to me ❤❤
This needed to be a longer interview
Slow Horses is so good
Great video
Called out by Gary Oldman! love that for you!! 🤣

DeNiro may be the G.O.A.T., but Gary Oldman is a close second for me
Gary looking like Lars Von Trier here.
They're already working on season 5? It's been two years since season 1...
They film 2 series at once I believe

He's hiding the answers under the floorboards.
He would be a great Quint..
That moment when a YTer has a better daily view than a mega star of many, many decades...
Oliver Stone for sure. But a great filmmaker.
Would have been crazy if he said Christopher Nolan
Why? Because Nolan would be above any criticism?

@@Bale4Bondit's expected to be common knowledge how Nolan behaves on his film sets
The audio is pretty bad on Oldman't side :(
Gotham City's finest!
It has to be Oliver Stone, because they did not get along in JFK.
Un rompebolas
Is that really his apartment? looks like an oil painting LOL
Yes it is.
