The 5000 in fine gold or SEx with a 8x12 evo would have hit all of those targets. Not knocking axiom or 6000 but putting a OLD tech 8 “ against more modern tech.Evo with more modern windings brings the 5000 forward a bunch.Thank you for taking the time to do this video.👍
Thanks for your comments. Yea, I realize the limits of the 4500 and coils used. I simply don't have them to test and I wasn't about to spend the money for the 5000 that's officially been discontinued by Minelab.
Thanks for the video. I would love to see you do one with deeper and larger targets. I have a 4500. Personally, I am not real interested in detecting for tiny pieces of gold. That's what my dry washer is for...lol. Keep up the good work!!!
@RelicsRings since I'm new in this. I want to ask. As larger the coil, the deeper it searches? And could larger monocoils could also be very effective finding relics? Or beach?
@MrAnimal-Subscribe in general, larger coils find larger items deeper. Also mono coils should find items deeper than DD coils, but that depends on soil mineralization. DD coils handle mineralization better.
Still think the 6000 is "easier" to hear and less concerned about the "correct swing speed" that the Axiom is. Also, we run modified 6000's that have much better EMI and noise floor, we only run Auto 2 now.

Thank you for all these tests. I'm going to purchase my first PI and it will be the Garrett.
You're welcome, glad the videos helped out.
Excellent comparison. Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
Great comparison. For the price Axiom, since it captured all. 6000 if you have extra cash. I am really surprised how well the axiom did.
Yea I was surprised myself at how well the Axiom did. I don't think people realize what a good machine it is for the money.
Are there monocoils for the axiom?
Yes mono coils are available for the Axiom in the 7x11 and 11x13, maybe even the 14x16

Well done ! 👍
