Omg!! I have looked into those years several times and you nailed it!! The exact dates line up with that document you showed! Mind Blown 🤯 amazing work!!
Considering the creators of this show made Lost, it’s likely they didn’t think any of these details through and are nothing more than “mystery box” nonsense…
Farway tree = Fairy Tree / Controlled by the high faeries Lighthouse = Fairy Mound / Also the gateway to the human world and Fae Otherworld. Martin = Fear Gorta Fatima = The Leanan Sí
Wow, this is really compelling, and I think you've got it right! Even the symbols behind the interview with Albert have been seen several times in the show... the spiral (in the drawings) and the others look very close to the patterns on the talismans. Subbing for more!

Notice how everyone was on the “road” when they entered the town? The carousel, the looping road, they are stuck. Where? Stuck in the wheel of karma. Trauma generates karma, karma is guilt. The town is actually there to help them heal from the trauma. Remember the Matthews lost a child, so to heal they must save a child. So now you can see how the monsters are helping Boyd. Boyd can't save everyone, that's his trauma, when he realizes that he is free. That's why the tree appeared leading him to Martin, if he kills martin (like martin asked) he heals his trauma. Now you can basically map out every character's trauma and solution to that trauma. The phone? The call from Thomas, Jim is ready to heal, so the boy in white and his tree will appear soon, and give him the chance to heal.
Greetings All I agreed that someone has to break the cycle but there may be a little more to it. I also believe that what was done to Native people has to be acknowledged but break it.
@TVTheories hey Sweetheart i just found your channel because one of our subscribers requested you as a guest on our Monday night panel called From Content Creator Round Table Discussion where every week we bring together different content creators to come and discuss the weeks current episode in a q&a format. If you would be interested in becoming a guest and talk some From with other creators please let me know and we would love to have you on!
This also explains the electricity! Specifically the concept of it having been found to be just mystically given for some reason, along with the development of the town AND the reason it's only in the U.S. It equates certain aspects of the Government giving certain things to American Indian Tribes. 🤯
I believe this is the first time I have come across your video. I must say, well done. I concur with your theory but would like to suggest the inclusion of enslaved Black people in your theory. In my opinion, I perceive hoodoo and voodoo being interwoven into the series as well. I am not sure if you follow the Reel Engmias and Theories channel, but I believe a collaboration between the two of you would be beneficial, as you both possess exceptional theories. New scriber
Thanks for watching and for the great suggestion! While I'm familiar with the history of enslaved Africans, I chose to focus on Native American perspectives because it's an area I'm still learning about and felt was underrepresented in the "FROM" theories out there. I wanted to explore the show's themes through that lens. I appreciate your insight on including enslaved Africans and Hoodoo, and I'll definitely keep it in mind for future content. Diverse perspectives enrich our understanding of shows like "FROM.” Thanks again for subscribing!
Very well written, it almost seems like a blood curse that natives sent of the descendants of the people who invaded their territories and it will not stop until every descendant ceases to exist
I understand, and I hope there's a twist. There's a new genre called Indigenous horror, and this show falls into that category. (I think it’s a new genre) FROM reminds me of “True Detective Night Country" (season 4) on MAX.
there’s no way that family was coming from Arizona to Yellowstone national park because Yellowstone is in Wyoming. but yet Kristi was in Michigan? They’re in Michigan somewhere it said it on the bus in season 2 that arrived.
Hi! I don't think the Matthews have made it to Yellowstone yet. That magical tree can pop up anywhere and transport them to the town. Thanks for the comment!
just got in to the show and got all caught up and dont know if people have said this but where are people cell phones now i know they wouldnt work but a lot would still have them close to them and when they did the lamp power trick dont you think some people would charge there phone to look at old pictures
I propose that it concerns legacies regarding slavery, as well. On rewatch, I'm fascinated by the worm that Martin spread to Boyd. When he did so, he said, "my blood is your blood, now." What do y'all make of that?
You're missing something. Those caves have pictographs in them that resemble Canadian Native cave art. Also, some one made the cells to hold captives. The seven stone chamber looked sacrificial. Europeans did not practice ritualistic human sacrifice in the 16th century. But it was widespread among Native tribes (same with tribal warfare and slavery). The local tribes probably had conflict with early explorers like John Cabot and Leif Erikson before his (vikings found NewFoundland around 1000Ad) and sacrificed to their god for protection.
So this show is very obviously built upon the clay and the bricks that H.P. Lovecraft created in his wonderful and weird universe. The painting on the wall of the master and diabolical lord that controls this pocket dimension even resembles dread Cthulhu, though I doubt that it will actually be Cthulhu and will be some sort of cosmic entity that the show created for the show. The current cycle starts to head to its end by bringing in two sets of people at the same time. It has been two boats arriving at the same time in the past and even two or more wagons arriving in their new nightmare at the same time. The last time that two cars arrived, which was in 1978, marked the end of that cycle which came to a very gory conclusion when Cthulhu/Nyarlathotep/Satan/Big Meanie removed the restrictions that it imposes on its minions, the creatures who were once human. For one horrific moment they were allowed to run down the citizens of Fromville and they were allowed to attack them during the day. This happens at the end of every cycle in which one person, usually a child, is the designated survivor for the start of the next cycle. In 1978 it was, of course, Victor. In the current cycle it is supposed to be Ethan. The Boy in White may have been the designated survivor in a previous cycle or he may be an avatar of God or whatever gods exist within the ‘From’ universe, or he could be the one who is playing a game of ‘chess’ against Cthulhu. Cthulhu has won virtually all of their previous matches but the Boy in White has been slowly filling his side of the chessboard with the pieces he needs to finally defeat Cthulhu. His “pieces” may be something like: Tabitha as Queen, Boyd and Kenny the Knights, Kristi, Jim, Julie, and Jade may be the Bishops and Rooks, and Ethan or Victor the King. The Boy in White is attempting to force Cthulhu into check and then into the final checkmate. The creatures are definitely former humans, most likely those who had been trapped in the town during previous cycles, and are resurrected by Cthulhu and turned into his monstrous pawns. Some of them show signs of remorse for their actions but they are forced to obey their evil master. As the cycles and years pass the creatures lose more and more of their memories along with their compassion, mercy, and their very humanity. The seven children are probably powerful dreamers who have some level of psychic abilities that Cthulhu uses to draw in more pieces onto the board of Fromville. It is probably more than powerful enough to do this by its own will, but it could perhaps be somewhat limited in power and uses the children to boost its own powers and/or to keep the residents trapped in this pocket dimension. Am I on the money or missing the mark? I don’t know, but this is where the evidence in the first two seasons has led me. Hopefully we’ll get all of the answers to all of the questions by the final episode of the series, whenever they decide to bring it to a close and end the cycle for good.
as a filmmaker id say "From" being listed as a "Sci-fi" is the only thing that drives me away from culture-driven plots. Science fiction (or sci-fi or SF) is a film genre that uses speculative, fictional science-based depictions of phenomena that are not fully accepted by mainstream science, such as extraterrestrial lifeforms, spacecraft, robots, cyborgs, mutants, interstellar travel, time travel, or other technologies.
my theory is that the entire town is a giant crashed spacecraft the town is a simulation but its what the aliens would interpret as a town and yes they hunt the humans because thats what they would have encountered after surviving the crash and seeing humans hunting each other the portal are wormholes a wormhole would be in Michigan or California but take you to fromville
Fascinating theory overall. There are certain ideas that I can see. But honestly? I just don't think the writers have gone THAT deep. Remember, this is a show that these channels want to reach a large group of watchers. Sometimes when you go too deep, you can loose an audience. Again, I appreciate your research and the educational read given. This theory is way better than 'it's aliens.'
I hope this isnt true i think this would make the storyline too basic and boring, nobodies watching this show because of their love for american history 😂
That's why I waited for ur video. Been watching u for awhile. This is exactly what the show is about.
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☺️🤗
This is well put together

Thats my biggest worry. I like lost but the fan fiction after season 4 was better than the show. I hope this has a decent explanation with some logic
Farway tree = Fairy Tree / Controlled by the high faeries
Lighthouse = Fairy Mound / Also the gateway to the human world and Fae Otherworld.
Martin = Fear Gorta
Fatima = The Leanan Sí
Damn just found your channel and now I need to binge it until season 3 starts 😂

I think everyone is a monster
Potentially everyone is a different color kinda like power rangers when you notice their colors follow each person.
😂😂😂.
@@TVTheories 😇
This is obviously a cyclical familial curse, repeating over and over until someone breaks the cycle.
I agree! That would be dope if family curses were involved.
I believe it's ancestor magic.

@@thexyzcorporation Yes, the trauma in the town is cyclical and generational. I like the acknowledgment idea.

Yes because of the civil war soldiers that attacked jade. Also in season 3 they have civil war shelters
