I've been thinking about this one, and The Wild Hunt does seem to fit so far. I also remember Julie telling Ethan a story about "secret fairies" that had smthg 2 do with the Lake of Tears. 🤔🧚♂️🧚♀️🧚
Yes! Just rewatched ep1 and 2 and Ethan mentions Faires and the lake of tears (could be the flood they have hinted at and/or the lake Kenny and Jim find in the new promo
I think the biggest hint to the monsters being the slaugh or something similar to a fae myth creatureis that they seem to take human clothing and items most likely as a way for them to help them shapeshift since they don’t seem to constantly change form. I think in certain modern interpretations of the slaugh is that they are able to take the form of lost souls.
The village is from the memories of a child IMO: The child knew that electrical things would work if you plug them in, but didn't know how. So that's how they work. King Fairy (boy in white) is probably in the image of that child. He probably 'updates' Fairyland or parts of it with each era. Those present Americans totally accepted the village as 'normal' when arrived. It was the villagers that were a bit odd.😁
Really cool video! Ethan mentions the fairies and lake of tears a few times in season 1. I still think besides the Boy in White and whatever entity is in Fromville that there may be another group at play outside of the town. I have alot of theories about the hospital and also Jades company. Awesome video, can't wait for season 3
I’ve been saying this for a couple of months now. Ever since I watched the movie Watchers by M. Night Shyamalan’s daughter. If you haven’t seen it yet, please go and watch it. It definitely got me thinking hard about Fromville being done by Fairies.
This also reminds me of how the Children of the Forest in GOT created White Walkers for protection and ultimately lost control of them because they gained their own autonomy. The fairy theory makes a lot of sense though, very interesting.
Maybe it is the land itself that over thousands of years has captured everything there, including the monsters and spirits and Fey. Maybe they are all just trapped together
I am on the writing team for this tv show. I am astonished you were able to figure this all out. We do have a couple of twists but you’re exactly right.
@Donny_Double_Dip sorry about that dude, some of us in theory community are a little crazy if this is true though it will make me very sad I all ways thought that a witch cused the town because of colonialism slavery the invention of race the witch trials and the show was subsequently a commentary on that. !BUT! mabe the witch made a deal with the fae to torment them forever inexchange for something. 3:45
I think an eclipse might be on the horizon and also needed inorder for ritual to start and that might be the reason we're seeing the animals out at night...the dates on the lighthouse might be the years of other such eclipses...jus a thought...thankx fr sharing this vid ..
The multiple cycles I think it was pretty much summed up in season 3 episode 2 that when the children who need to be saved has chosen someone and that person like Tabitha if they fail to save the children in a time frame from the lighthouse then everyone dies and the cycle repeats itself kind of what happened in the 70s with Victor's mom. Like they said in the episode the game is rigged and what is going on is all just a game and more than likely it's being played throughout mythical creatures
A fallin tree splits the world open from the living realm to the world of the monsters. The door talismans to me looks like one human who walks in the light of day and one humanoid who walks in the dark of night. The faraway trees and the tree in the beginning are probability represents the gods and must be apeased by children sacrifice under its roots
It was already confirmed in season 2. Martin is the fae Fear Gorta and he confirmed he is from a small town called Millbrook, the same town that Fear Gorta is said to be from in Irish Folklore. This has been my theory from months ago. Also, the Lighthouse is a Hight Fairy Mound, which is the highest point of Fae Otherworld and is the thinnest point/gateway between the human and Fae other world.
Like you mentioned iron can be used against the fae. And if you look at the talisman what are some of the run symbols? "F " and "E" whats the chemical symbol for iron? Fe Also what does julies t shirt say in the Rv in the way there. "Illusions" As for Odin: first episode tabthia says that maybe they arent crows that they may be ravens. Ravens are associated with odin. And we have seen some one eyed symbolism.
One massively obvious thing people like yourself always overlook is that the writers may simply have taken inspiration from European stories and put their own spin on it. It’s a TV show and a STORY! It doesn’t have to be based on facts
I really love that theory but I am afraid it won't be final explanation and they will go with something like aliens or govement experiment :/ btw. You made me rewatch seasons 1 and 2.
@@Doug-rv3nrthat doesn't explain the mom being able to return back to the real world by just falling off the lighthouse. Also doesn't explain the boy who helped her.

I think all those days are times when people was able to escape that reality as we can see when the little kid pushed the lady and she came back to the real world I think those numbers are the year when somebody was able to pass over and leave. If this is a game maybe she might be the first person or only person that's able to leave out of there
If we stick with the fey theme here, I think that this isn't the Fey Wilds but the bridge between (a crossroad) and does not have a real geographic location because it exists outside our dimension (think pocket dimension) but somehow touches every deep forest in the world (although the show may restrict this to the USA/N. America ). I think the lighthouse is what controls where the opening occurs only being able to pull things in at random and that's why you can only leave being pushed from it. I think the night people are the people that did not survive the reset and are now corrupted by the land being their long exposure to a world that is not suited for them to exist. Other than that, I like this theory and certainly an interesting exploration into the rollercoaster of just WTF is going on.
@@Doug-rv3nr another plane can mean it’s overlapping ours and we just cannot perceive that plane. I like pocket dimension because it has more of a boundary.
