Thank you! Adding details at any level can really help to immerse yourself into the world you are creating. Even adding a simple fence or placing trees in a decorative way can really improve how stations and industries look
Seriously I learned so much from this video, I kind of understood how to play the game to avoid losses 😅so now I'm exploring the decoration side of the game 😊.
Great tip video. One tip you should mention is using ALT+G to turn off the UI. This allows you to place assets in places the UI would normally be blocking. I can't imagine detailing in this game without that feature anymore.
Thank you for the tip! I didn’t know there was a shortcut for turning that off. I haven’t tried it myself but I’ll definitely try it and see how it goes
Handy dandy ❤.. Additional, would it work when you place like two (temporary) roads to create a nice straight edge when you paint something in between, like that painted road opposite of the station ??
I do not believe it works like that. Roads still have a texture underneath them when they are built so if you painted over a road and removed it, you would see where your brush ended under the road. You could use the road as a guide but you would still need to be precise with your brush movements to get a straight line. Hope this helps!
You might be looking for turning on experimental map sizes. I do not have anything showing how to do that but there are plenty of videos on youtube if you search for it.
Shift key modifier is a gamechanging tip! Thank you!
Very helpful! Many thanks! 😊
Excellent, finally someone taking the time to go through this side of the game.

Excellent tutorial thank you
Nicely done! The slope threshold and paint steep side tip... I no longer need to wonder HOW to use that now LOL Cheers! Stephen
Glad I could help!
The harbour area looks magnificent :)
Thanks. It was definitely one of the most time intensive projects I’ve done so far but the result was worth it
I've got like hundreds of hours logged in the game... and today i learned about the shit modifier for painting. 😅
as a new player I found it most helpful, Thanks
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!

I'm looking for the mod that will change the default map size from large at 16 km x 16 km up to 50 km x 50 km. Any ideas??

Great vid thanks
I am sure that there are Portal Cranes available in the MODS... Those would look more realistic on your harbor build
I really don't understand why this game has no planning mode before placing buildings & tracks.
