I wonder if people will stop hating on Torbjörn now! Still not my kind of hero, but buffing his team with +75 armour every few seconds + the sentry + that pretty impressive ultimate is so strong. As a side note, I freakin LOVE the attention to detail (like how the little hatch ontop of his gun bounces open when he jumps).
Symmetra builds tele, so she is quite useful. But Torbjön...umm...yeah. placing armor infinitely with molten core is awesome and helpful, but still think tele is more useful than that.

I love hearing from my team mates "thanks for the help" or anything around those lines, makes me feel like I am making their game better and me myself and a bit of a person that want to please everyone. so with tobjorn i can definitely do that.
Seeing the best game play from these characters has shown each of them are great and can be played a high level. I hope this video is proof that all hero's have something to offer. As always, I cant wait to play this game.

Between these two things, kill credit in Overwatch is likely more like assist credit in other games, meaning heroes with summons can easily cause that weird discrepancy due to kills involving both the hero and their summon giving kill credit to both.

I'm impressed with Torbjörn. He seems to be a lot more capable on his own than the vanilla Engineer in TF2. Means less crutching on the turret, more using it as a tool to support.

It Almost seems like Torb used to be a Tank /DPS /Support all in one hero. Really cool to see this, I like the idea of Torbs ultimate giving him overload, which makes you have to hold ult until you have to relocate your turret, so you can get a lvl 3 turret right away.
The accepted FoV for first-person games on PC is 85-95 degrees, so I don't know WTF Blizzard is thinking. We're not sitting 8 feet away from TV screens, we play on monitors which take up most of our peripheral vision. This is game development basics.

One of the classes I'm looking forward to the most! I hope that in future updates they will add hit sounds to the game. or at least allow us to mod them in. I feel that would help a lot for a shooter like this.
Trey Martin I think Beta Torb would be amazing, and really I only played the game at first because of Torb. I used to main Engineer in TF2, and you could take entire teams out with him. My favorite character was Pyro in TF2, but none of the characters like him in Over Watch.
I didn't think I would like Torbjörn's gameplay, but it looks like he has to play more aggressive than the Engineer in Team Fortress 2. Can't wait to get more info on that beta.
The Sentry sounds less impressive when it acquires targets and fires. In TF2 I like how I can work with other Engineers to help them repair or build faster. If there can only be one Torbjörn per team in Overwatch then that teamplay's out the window. He seems very bland compared to the Engineer. Torbjörn only has the Sentry, while the Engineer has 3 different buildings to focus on. As an attacker on a Control Point map, how does Torbjörn contribute at pushing? The Engineer will switch to less emphasis on the Sentry and more on Teleporters and Dispensers and perhaps using the Gunslinger to get quick sentries out for some protection. Torbjörn only has his Sentry, and after placing it he really is all about running around shooting with his gun. Not the best start for Overwatch's non-twitch option. The Engineer is my 2nd most played class in TF2 (after the Soldier), so I'm surely going to be playing Torbjörn a lot. But right now it seems like I'll just miss the building variety of the Engineer. Hopefully they'll look at replacing the armor boosts.
Steinar Furuli if you like the engineer in tf2 so much, why don't you play tf2? if they did the same as tf2 what would be the point of that? i'm sure there will be ways to contribute to pushes: the turret doesn't take that long to build, especially with molten core, the rivet gun does decent damage, and your armor packs are almost OP
It doesn't matter if you say "people". The still same applies. Whoever said Overwatch is a TF2 clone still probably goes around saying so. I'm confident Blizzard will listen to the people who know how to make constructive arguments about Torbjörn.
Bit of a niche pick I'd say. He was owning the first half when all he needed to do was stay on the ledge and protect his turret. But on larger maps or closed areas like towards the end, he wasn't as helpful to his team. Large maps and moving objective maps will be his Achilles heel. But seems as if he will be god-like on stationary objective maps.

I started playing Overwatch recently but I forgot how different many characters were....Torbjorn is one of my faves to play because how spammy and flank-ish he can be but this Torbjon is something totally the opposite...more support-ish and defensive playstyle. Lowkey I wish I could play this old style Overwatch. :)

I remember this old version. In my opinion the new one is more fun and definitely more viable, but this old version was a lot of fun.

But on larger maps or closed areas like towards the end, he wasn't as helpful to his team. Large maps and moving objective maps will be his Achilles heel. But seems as if he will be god-like on stationary objective maps.
Hahahah that gun model is ridiculous! It's almost in the middle of the screen! And his reload arm is SOOOO annoying.

I started playing Overwatch recently but I forgot how different many characters were....Torbjorn is one of my faves to play because how spammy and flank-ish he can be but this Torbjon is something totally the opposite...more support-ish and defensive playstyle. Lowkey I wish I could play this old style Overwatch. :)
Oh man, each character preview just makes me want to play the beta so much more! I wish I could play it now instead of waiting 3 more months~

You know, this is almost exactly how i imagined him being played. although its nice to see how fast the armor pack ability charges, and apparently you can have a lot of packs on the ground. neat.
Wow, just wow, and i thought he is gonna be the worst in this game, well now he mine third favourite, right after hanzo and Bastion, and now i wait for Bastion's turn to slaughter them all XD
