2 brothers from my hometown used to own that truck they hauled their pulling tractor with it it originally came from Wisconsin

That’s definitely a rarer sight than just another peterbilt, really refreshing to see something so different
Bill Elliott and crew had a truck somewhat like that one early on, especially being a Ford. One was for sale a few years ago, so dig back on the title and it may have seen a lot of fun!
That's awesome you take little man with you, those are memories he will always have and cherish. Some of my fondest memories as a kid are the times I got to go on the road with my step-dad, especially when he was driving a Peterbuilt. Got to go to all kinds of cool places, Hoover Dam was 1 of the most memorable ones for me. Keep up the good content man! I definitely miss being on the road, sometimes I want to go get my CDL but I can't rly do it being a single dad with no help. Yall be safe!

I think you should keep the truck Tim keep it for local runs and only maybe one or two State other than that it seems to be a very safe and good truck. 👍🏾

My uncle was a owner operator for 40 years. He had a international cab over he retired in. He wanted to buy a aero max but was to expensive for him at the time. Keep on truckin

Tim always Remember in Brax's eyes you are his idol. When I was his age I didn't care about anything but riding and hanging out with my father. I'm 50 now and Remember it all like it was yesterday.

If that was built by Will then its solid af and no surprise the performance it has. He built my 12v back in the day out of his garage in Vegas before he opened the shop in Utah, this was like 8 years ago and it still runs like a top today pulling a 30' travel trailer through the AZ mountains. I didnt know they got as popular as they are, good for them!

I say put it to work. Seems like some good ole’ iron that gets good mpg and seems reliable, plus you don’t see many of these L9000’s on the road anymore. Especially one that’s a crew cab with a sleeper. I drove a 1996 L9000 with a N14 Celect black top 525hp/1850tq with a 13 speed rolloff truck for almost 2 years, that thing was a beast. It sure does bring back some memories seeing this one.
Having a Miny Me is the best thing about being a Dad. ❤

This is the funniest video I’ve seen in quite a few weeks with you Tim, this thing looks absolutely sick. I feel like one thing to add would be make it a tandem! Add some boxes behind the tanks too to store all the things y’all need so it’s not all in the trailer.. Can’t wait to see more on it, these old trucks are amazing I agree! Gonna be getting an FLD myself next year, happy truckin!

It's great how well it appears to have been taken care of, I bought a 93 f700 and I am trying to chase down some wiring issues, not easy haha

When I was in my early 20s I went to truck driving school to get a cdl because I wanted to truck back and forth out west and northern states to have a view out my office window just like that every day

that rig would be perfect for your boat hauling business, and I hope that warning from the cop was verbal vs written or it could affect your driving record. Dot loves to give out written warnings vs tickets . Drivers think they got lucky just getting a warning then find out it’s almost the same as getting a ticket
Paperwork with a warning...i don't think so... it maybe different between actual police and the dot.
Tim has spoke about this. Warnings go against you and you can't fight it in court vs a citation then you can fight it.
Over here in the uk we have vosa , they’re proper arseholes.
They’re over zealous to the point of being spiteful.
Vosa govern everything on wheels over here and make people’s lives a misery from car and taxi drivers all way through vans and big trucks.
They’re literally like the guestapo.
I was a taxi driver and one New Year’s Eve they pulled me over had me jacked up checking my brakes tyres and dipped my tank looking for red diesel.

Right on good video love the truck keep it work it you don't see them LTL9000 much at all on the road and at one time there were lots of them out there I used to drive one hauling gravel pulpwood they were good trucks be safe guys and enjoy it 👍can't wait to see you work it.

My first tractor was a1974 ford L9000 cummins power. purchased in 1990. It wasn't a 🦕 in 90 but it was old had a few problems but it got me started back in the day when a single owner operator could make a living..
