To turn off traction control hold left go into riding mode and go to tc and move it down to 0 and your light will come on indicating it’s off
@@nathanialporterfield6763 I've done that before and still didn't turn off fully it was on a 2018 fireblade.
I’m so in love with this bike it’s legit my dream bike and you’re putting all the right stuff on it.
I think less people are getting them because the SP is the only model out right now. I’d love one but I can’t afford 28 k for it but I’d be more inclined to buy the base model version. If it ever gets here
I just bought a 2021 cbr 1000 rr last month (base model).... there out, but I'm definatley going to have to modify it.

@@Captndarty oh, I see what yall are saying.... egh, some people call it the "rr-r" not sp. The body style is also different then the 600 rr. Im pretty sure it could be considered the base model..
Thats the triple R 😂 its 26k 28k range. Double r is 15k. Triple R is a true race machine 200rear tire fency engine fency suspension and brakes. Engine revs higher than base and produces more horsepower. Its a race ready. Its better than s1000rr.
Thank you Zack and 650 for keeping the Honda faithful entertained with this bike as MARQUEZ "93" gets back into competitive form. Solving the ECU problem, adding the velocity stacks, and updating the gearing are all Honda riders approved modifications. 650!!! 😎😎

Hey ib. Just out of interest I checked the gearing at the speedometer, and it is indeed accurate. Over-reading by around 2mph at 60mph, which you would expect given legislation. Hope that helps.

-1 tooth in the front is equal to +3 in the rear. 2:20 Surprised your master tech didn't know that. And he tighten the plate a lil to tight and didn't flare the pins enough but I'm sure your fine, not like he was way off.
Also if anyone decides to go with a 520 chain make sure it's a x-ring not a o-ring for 1000cc, ib650 has the new 3D one which is awesome, the best ek chain.

Man you can use this gearing in most production bikes with similar results without losing too much top speed. Acceleration is king anyway :)

I thought -1 on front sprocket is like +3 on rear. I run a -1 +2 setup on my 08 cbr600rr. It gave me alot more useable torque. That rrr with that gearing is a track weapon
Driver over driven: powered cog drives the slaved cog. Its like Rise over Run is Y/X to give the proportional slope ratio and then you take the mean circumference of Y and divide it by the mean cog circumference (whatever the tooth height is halve that and add it to the radius of the cog), then multiply it by the rpm then divide by the X circumference, then I dunno maybe use thatresult to do the sums using the circumference of the rear tire and then convert that into a per hour rather than a per minute and get some kinda cross-multiply with a common factor like whatever multiple converts teh circumference into miles (or kilometers). Hey presto, miles per hour.

I don't know about other countries but here they are about the same price as the V4S, about 4 grand more than the R1M, RSV4 factory etc

I've got a Streetfighter V4SP2 with a full system and tune. I have an Africa Twin for commuting and tooling around town. I'd like to pick up a sport bike next and I can't decide between the Fireblade and the S1000RR with the M-Package and carbon wheels.
IB have you removed the foam clogging the snorkel? its like a clogged artery, i did mine last month - smog and noise crap
Waiting on the cf wheels and ceramic bearings. Could very well be the fastest 1k NA bike in the 650ib garage.

@@bbdl7042 yes that's for sure. All these modern litre bikes ( race homologation models) in particular are very evenly matched. But the cbr produces anywhere between 7-9 hp more than the m1krr

11:11 for the front sprocket lower number means higher acceleration. Rear sprocket higher number means higher acceleration.

Meh on the aluminum rear sprocket. The weight savings is minimal but they don't last for shit, especially on a literbike... Lightweight steel is really the best choice.

The gearing was designed specifically
To be that long to work in conjunction with the ECU traction control wheelie control systems ABS and fuel efficiency and longevity of the engine life!
@@jdmikeg4 I'm not arguing that fact at all. Just stating for what ib specifically is using the bike for I.e roll racing, it's not up to par with the rest of the competition. The new gearing will completely turn it into a new machine.

yoo IB keep an eye on that vortex chain brother. Mine broke at 120mph almost killed me. Other people are getting issues to..( all from Yamaha fz09s) but becareful

By supersport you mean actual supersports 600cc or superbikes 1000cc?
Either way there is no "the best" either of them are not recommended to start on but if you must, go to a dealership and sit on your favorites and pick one that fits you the best.
You could also ask, who is the most beautiful girl in the world... Matter of taste.
Start with sport-city like cbr650r, ninja 400, R3, cbr250rr. Pure sportbike from 600-1000 would hard for peoples dont have experience

Just remember Aluminum Sprockets are for racing/track.
i dont recomend changing the sprocket size it may have a bad consequence

Changing the gearing hasn’t upset the wheelie and traction control systems? I’m currently going 1 down 2 up front and and rear and having the ecu calibrated so that it knows the gearing that’s now installed.
No Sir. Nothing has been upset or changed on my Fireblade and the speedometer is still correct.
So you have to retune the bike for a sprocket change?

No Sir. These errors were NOT caused by sprocket change. My bike had bad wheel speed sensors and severed brake and wheel speed sensor lines.

after the gears change, my quick shifter dont work like it used to anymore:( changing it back to stock. for top end i guess
You need to flash the ecu for changing the sprocket to 15/44.

Yes and yes (typically all bikeS with abs, trct control, slide control, lift control, and a speedo has a hall effect wheel speed sensor on both wheels!)
