Among the shocking charges Louise and David Turpin face is the allegation that they taunted their starving kids with food from a neighborhood store. The parents were addicted to babies. When the kids got older they were left alone. It's like baby animals being given at Christmas. When they get too big and not cute any more, people give them up. Very sad.
That's just horrid! They only see their children as nothing but pets and accessories!?

The way some people think, makes me sick. I have always made our kids plates before ours. My parents and grandparents were the same way. We always had food, so that wasn’t a worry, but if we didn’t, the kids would still have come first.

Because the kids went to a hospital that specialized in treating children while the adult kids went to a hospital that specialized in treating adults. Different ages require different needs and medical attention I thought this was just common sense....

Real parents would starve before their children went hungry. These parents hoarded food and gorged while their kids starved. The 31 year old has heart damage from nutrient deficiencies/starvation for most of her life. The teens were the size of children and none of them were even close to the correct height/weight for their age group. They all had speech and cognitive issues. That’s 31 years of physical, verbal, psychological, damage.

I loved how the lady said so much is being donated yet the caseworker that was in charge of all the donation money refuses to help these kids. I belive her last name is Espinoza. Anyway the older siblings tried to reach out to her with very basic needs one being a bike and she refused to help them. She's Aldo ducking and dodging investigators which I think is grounds for her to be arrested and then questioned. Long story short Ole girl is acting super suspicious like she might of spent the money or at least part of it. Her job as a social worker was to help these poor souls and she's failing MISERABLY.

What happened in those medical centers? Jordan Turpin said she has alot of healing to do from those first 3 years after she was rescued. This whole thing is very sad. The missed opportunities, so many neighbors who thought they were weird. And noticed sighns of abuse but did nothing. It break's my heart to pieces.

It’s terrible after watching the 2020 special last Friday how the system has failed these children. They can’t access the money that was raised for them, most of them have been starving for food still and homeless couch surfing from home to home. 2020 is doing an investigation on why they can’t access the money that was donated to them. The woman that was in charge of it all was let go from her job allegedly. It’s terrible. I recommend if you haven’t watched the 2020 special you can find it on ABC News on TH-cam. It’s in six parts.

I watched it. I think I missed the part about children not able to benefit from donations. That’s so jacked up. What kind of person would do or allow that to happen to these already beaten up children? No doubt someone very similar to the personality of their parents.

@@jif8802 it was in the end of the video which was the sixth episode uploaded by ABC News that they removed. Like I’ve said if people pay for cable then you have on-demand service. Hopefully ABC uploaded the 2020 special and then you can watch it for free with your cable subscription. I don’t understand why they removed the most important part of the episode. Like the woman said below most likely for revenue. This way you have to pay to watch it. They removed the person’s video who uploaded the entire special onto their channel. That’s how I watched it. My sister watched it through ABC News TH-cam channel which had all six episodes at the time.

Is this a fair sentence? NO! This is one of those cases where death sentence seems reasonable.
The only good thing about their sentence is they will most likely live their last years behind bars :)
