@A H the Bible was written by men, ancient Arab men. No one think of it like that ever, they prefer to believe it was magically written by God. Many books were written and not included, man chose which books should be included. Yes I know it is Godly inspired but I doubt every word was, it is extremely biased at times and much was lost in translation.

My ten year old had his mouth hanging open through half of this program. When they illustrated the moving of girls and selling of babies, he yelled “That’s Human Trafficking!! And kidnapping!” If a ten year old can plainly see it, then these states have no excuse for what they continue to do.

Just look around you and see who controls religion...it's men. The network was funded by the Canadian government's Department of Indian Affairs and administered by Christian churches"
Native children had to go to these schools to learn English, French and how to be "white" (for lack of better words). The abuse was horrific and centered around sexual abuse. It's on Lifetime Movie Club if you want to watch it.

Ancestry is amazing. I found my birth mother last year and was so scared she didn’t want to have anything to do with me. But I was so wrong. Every single person in that family was so accepting of me. My birth father didn’t want to have anything to do with me because his wife hated my birth mother so he won’t see me. But that’s ok. I was taken from my mother when I was born just like this story and it took me 49 years to get the courage to try and find her. And when I did, it changed my life. Ty Ancestry. My life is complete now and I have an amazing relationship with my birth mother and my sister, who wasn’t given up. They all love me and I love them. She said she never wanted to give me up and had been searching for me all those years too. I’m so happy for this mother and daughter

those Ancestry tests are illegal here in France, but people still buy them via mail. apart from people in search of their biological parents after adoption, anonymous birth, some of those who use those tests are born via sperm donations and they just want to know who they resemble to. all those cases are scealled secret, and it's a shame the administration doesn't give the datas!! joke's on you, administration, because people WILL find the truth anyway.

plus, in the case of sperm donation, this can lead to unbeknownst inbreeding. imagine how devastating it can be to realize that a person you're dating/got married to/have children with, is your half sibling ...

When I was 5 my parents adopted my brother. I began to wonder if I was adopted, too, but I never asked. As I got older the question was still on my mind until I was 14 and accidentally met one of my mother's childhood friends at a department store. The lady came up to me and asked me if I was related to her friend and she said my mom's name. She said I looked exactly like her. Wow! It was such a relief to have the mystery solved. I didn't have to wonder where I came from. I'm 74 now and so many people say I look just like my mother, may she rest in peace.
My brother found out about his birth mother and he said that giving him up for adoption was probably the only good thing she ever did. My family was blessed to have him. Best little brother in the world! 💞

They read, regarding my mother, “the mother is in denial and delusional, with poor reality orientation.” I was taken from the home not because I was “troubled,” but abused by my stepfather, turned out, etc. I wouldn’t testify against my mother for neglect and abuse, despite the charges being true. They weren’t leveled by me, but the state. Today I regret not doing so because it didn’t help her. Survivors, please don’t EVER feel guilty for telling the truth. Your survival skills are brave either way. But I wish I had given my mother the opportunity to change by prosecuting. Now, her denial is so deep there is no help for her. I was pressured by my family as an unwed mother to go to Catholic Charities and adopt him " Or else " and from there, GONE! I have reconnected with him and he is so happy as am I that we found each other. We have not met in person but soon. I would have never found him had it not been for Ancestry DNA. I can't thank them enough. I had every door shut in my face from the State of Virginia and Catholic Charities. I am happy for this lady and her daughter having lived this too.

This story illustrates a not so loving way to help a pregnant teen girl. She had no family to turn to in keeping her child. Others made decisions for her and cohesion was applied to conform to the rules. But there is redemption in her story. An orphan herself was being cared for. She was not forced to abort and gave life to her child which was then adopted into a good family. The
best part was the Mother/Daughter reunion and the longing they had to see one another. They got closure and were blessed. A beautiful love story.

I do too. Likewise, been a DV victim of this for 23 years. My daughter's father is a Reverend/Pastor and robbed me of custody of my daughter. MS courts and LEO colluded with him to abuse and keep me from her. I stood no chance against them. I told them what was going on and they never believed me or my daughter. They all sabotaged my chance of getting her back since he didn't want to pay child support. My son's father used being a Christian to get custody of him 16 years ago while pregnant. Both fathers of children conspired together separating my kids 16 years apart. I haven't recovered yet. I was a Christian...not anymore. My own mother was mommy dearest as a Christian and the church members of different churches I attended over the years threw me and my babies to the wolves and left me to fend for me and my kids. I am atheist also now! Never went back to those cults and you can't pay me enough to go back. That lady is right..." I CAN'T LET GO". It haunts you as the mother to be cheated, denied, to robbed of motherhood. Nobody has helped me but helped the fathers comment atrocious in God's name. Went to court alone for 16 years to fight alone.

😢... I can definitely relate to this situation as I haven't seen my two oldest Sons since they were 2, & 4-yrs.old in 1971, and when their father kidnapped them from me. The woman their father was having an Affair with, insisted on defaming and demonizing me, and, I'm sure she lied to my Sons about who I am as a person. I have reached out to them, but I guess they believe the lies they were told about me, and so I don't think a Reunion with my Sons will ever be possible. I don't understand how Evil people like my Ex husband, and that woman can purposefully cause so much Pain and destruction, yet still prevail in living their Lies.

My mother went through similar to your sons. When she was 34, she finally opened enough to give her father a chance. In spite of all the bad things she had always been told about him, he was an awesome man. Best grandfather on the planet in my opinion. I wish you and your sons all the best.

I am so sorry this happened to you and your sons. My father just considered my brother and I part of the divorce. I never saw my father after i was 2. He died at 83, leaving 3 kids from his second marriage to mourn him as a "great father". I'm glad he was good to them, but why just erase his other children?

Once they understand the truth, perhaps after your ex dies, which usually happens; they will find out the lies they were told. Don't shut the door, keep the door open for them; they will come around.

My heart goes out to you Nancy. As a mother to a baby girl, i would of been so heart-broken if this happened to me. Not even sure if i could go on after this.

When I was 16 I found out I was pregnant. I will never forget the face my mother made when she "asked me" what I wanted to do. Did I want to stay with my family and be loved and be treated like their daughter? Or did I want to keep my "mistake" and lose my family and be cast out with nothing . The pain I live with everyday for making the wrong choice and giving my child up kills me everyday. I am so glad she found her child.

What an awful dilemma you were put in , at 16 it is difficult to make sure a decision and to be able to oversee the consequences. Your baby's soul understands and support you and you will be reunited in time for sure.❤
