Theynare taking on ever increasing burdens from there continued increased FLOOD of children and adults illegally from other coin tries w no resources or even a penny to their names, who do not know the language, have no education, in need of medical care, and omg the educational needs!
ALSO, California chooses to spend the $$ that SHOULD be allocated for the protection of children, to pay for hormonal treatments and mastectomies of 12 year olds whom the school has groomed into thinking they are transgender, and doing so AGAINSTn the will of these children's parents.

I'm sure Jennifer has added emotions for being through it the longest and also being forced to partake in the abuse by locking her siblings in the cages. It's vile what these "parents" did, but to force one of their children to do it, too . . . well, I hope they get special attention in lock up. You are not alone in that. I found myself watching with tears rolling down my face. These brave women saved themselves and their siblings. It’s truly heartbreaking what they went through and inspiring how they didnt let it break THEM. So many people that grow up in similar situations repeat the cycle. My fiancé was actually grew up in a similar way. Not allowed to leave the basement and was only allowed to receive meals at the foot of the stairs. Although this is waaaay extreme. He too made the decision to be a amazing dad and make a change and not let the cycle of abuse continue. God bless that family

Jordan literally overcame her years of brainwashing and abuse and risked everything to escape and get help for her siblings. The hardest part of being psychologically abused by your parents is accepting the good, the love, and support from others. Reconciling how it's possible that others see your value, your worth, can love you, can accept you, can say you matter when those who brought you into this world thought and treated you the opposite, is almost as hurtful as the abuse itself.

Jordan’s natural intelligence is really staggering. Freedom and the real world must have been such abstract ideas, and the pure courage to chase that without any knowledge of what she was going to encounter on the outside is just unbelievable. It’s an incredibly rare kind of person willing to face chaos head-on like that. Clearly the groundwork had been laid by the older sister, with teaching the younger siblings language etc, but without a courageous person to carry out the task it’s all null. It’s incredible how the base traits of some people can have such a bearing on so many, and it does make you wonder where Jordan would have been in another, more normal, life. Amazing people 👏🏻👏🏻

@@psychicrenegade It wasn't your older siblings' responsibility to protect you-- that was your parents' job. Older siblings' often endure far more abuse than the younger ones do, so they might have experienced more than you knew. Please don't blame your siblings because you were "stronger" than they were-- blame your parents.

My heart goes to these women. They've come so far, but you keep seeing glimpses of the child inside - as if part of them is still locked in that time where they were denied a childhood, yet wanted more than anything to just be a kid. I hope so much they get to do everything they ever dreamt of, and that in some way they can truly put those terrible times in a place that can't hurt them anymore.

She’s literally a hero. To have courage like that isn’t taught, it’s in your heart and she carried so much of it. Truly inspiring.

i really admire Jordan for her social intelligence while speaking with the cop appearing in very little moments , like she already knew she sounded weird and that it's difficult to comprehend that she doesnt know anything about medicines or addresses , it amazes me that she explained very well despite the horrors she faced .

Those evil subhuman monster abusers that you can’t call parents will now suffer for decades in jail hope they will go through the worst but I’m sure they will even in prison inmates hate that kind of subhuman trash

I'm just amazed that a cop believed her. There is a good amount of people that refuse to believe kids just so they don't have to deal with it. I know its a bare minimum but it definitely shows how much these kids worked to get out.

This has been one of the hardest stories to watch in recent years. The lack of vocabulary and sentence structure, their naivety, and innocence is just so unfair. They’re doing so well, and her cadence in speech has improved so much. Feel weird saying I feel proud but I do. Fucking good for them, for real

    • @ariadams3290

And through it all they've still maintained a sense of dignity...
The naivete will probably be with them forever but that, too, is almost a "forgiving" attribute - they don't appear to understand the depravity of what they've been through because there was nothing else to compare it to...so it's as if being unaware has protected them...
I've never witnessed a situation where the heroes have no idea of the magnitude of their accomplishments...
