With this economy system and with the open world I feel like they're trying to make a Forza Horizon with realistic handling. Which is nice. However I hope there will be a "pick a car, pick a track, good to go" model too, as I'm more into this model as the old AC did, rather than these economy system games. But who knows, maybe we will be free to do some "tricks" to make it pick a car pick a track model for ourselves as they said there will be no microtransactions
I hope im wrong, but renting and buying cars in the freeroam kinda sounds like we have to grind to get access to the good cars... Im not sure im gonna buy this game if its like that
lets be honest here, assetto corsa doesnt "have" drifting. AC1 IS sim drifting. there is no other digital drifting scene. there's no other drift sim. there's no other place with this much in depth to one discipline such as drifting with ac (trust me, ive looked around) i spent the last idk, like 3 years debating on whether or not i should get AC, since i dont have a wheel, trying out every drift game out there, and AC IS drifting for the sim they realized it and will add it for ACEvo which is just cherry on top of the cake, they really know what they're doing
This is going to sound dumb but in terms of the free roam and car customisation... I compare it to GTAV. I really liked back in the day, me and my friends would roam the world in very different cars which we made to look how we liked.
Hmmmm I'm a bit afraid that SRP wont exist on AC Evo and its our favorite free roam maps Scenario 1: It will exist but a Japanese company will take over shutoko expressway map LiDAR scanned and will be for sale but developers of SRP wont be there and wont be the ones owning it, it will be that Japanese company Scenario 2: It wont exist on AC Evo, because the Japanese government wont allow it in the context of "It entices illegal racing and speeding on shutoko express way" I know its over the top but thinking how these people think welp..... I guess only way to get around these 2 scenarios is that hide racing things in the pretext of: 1. Use the word "driving simulator" it makes foreigners more familiar with the express way and Japanese road rules. 2. Economy exist so getting "caught" speeding gets you a fine and getting into an accident gets you a fine and damage repairs(kinda like need for speed and GTA V role play lol) I dont know but its just my speculation of the licensing stuff, like i wanna make this mod but need to ask those guys first(dont get me wrong it gives modders a network and a future job opportunity) but when SRP ask for a license to make the mod chances gets a bit slim when the business peeps and government peeps gets involved
If I am able to buy my own car and it will be mine and unique, I also wish damage and costs (ingame credits) for repairs. And serious realistic costs. People would drive way more responsible if there were consequences for their actions. Dont know why no game dev did this so far.
I hope GTA VI devs take note of the immense market there is for immersive free driving. Last time with GTA V the driving was very arcade-like, even without manual transmission and slower than normal supercars.
@@szymonski1905 honestly I think a lot of simracers would be already happy with just a wheel support implementation, only for giving us the ability of chillingly driving around the roads of Vice City with a proper steering wheel. They featured the i30n with 8-speed dct, instead of 6MT. In real life the dct is more comfortable and easier to drive, but why in the game? One thing caught my eye is car customization. Specifically aerodynamic customization, that is very complex thing to simulate properly even on factory stock cars with all the real data available , now how are they going to simulate properly when player puts a giant wing on vinatge cars that has practically no aero data to begin with. I actually hate this customization direction , it makes it feel more gamey than a hardcore sim and if they are going to implement it properly the result will always be sub optimal guess work , waste of resources for small dev team with very niche product.
Being more of a game is good thing, because thats what ac1 really lacked, why should we have to choise when it can be both. Kunos plan is proably to bring the game to wider audiance, it could really be groundbreaking if they deliver on all fronts, it has never been done before. This could be really good for the racing game genre
In assetto corsa with the use of custom shader patch you can add rain with realistic physics that even moves with the wind. The rain drops on the car here looked really basic and not affected by the wind which is a feature modders added to assetto years ago. It's crazy to me that all these companies can't accomplish something that modders can in a much shorter time frame.
I am tempted to say. Is this mod work 100% everywhere and testing 100%. Maybe , just maybe the reason. From end user like us, we dont realize all angle. At same time, i completly agree with you
@@zachdoran10 Also, what the fuck is a modding company? Modders are usually one person or a very small team of people that operate for zero profit, such as the one i referenced (custom shaders patch and CM) which was created by Peter Boese free of charge for the community.
Does the lighting in EVO look weird to anyone else? The color grading already looks too much like ACC for my taste, but that aside, the brightness in a lot of scenes looks kind of wonky. That final shot of the Alpine at the end of the video perfectly sums up what I'm talking about. It looks really washed out.
Matter of taste, but personally, overall from what I've seen, I think this is the best looking sim yet. Real life sometimes looks washed out, depending on conditions. Maybe there will be tweaks to those things, AC1 had plenty of post processing and other visual tweaks. This is just pre-alpha. But to me it already looks pretty great
yall are weird its like a pre alpha. it's like a vertical slice of the game. shows a bunch of stuff, but just a bit of most of it graphics are most likely not final. and there will for sure be adjustments you're suffering from nothing, relax its ok
Where is the AI that suggests a setup when I enter tracks, laps and weather? I want to race and not spend hours tinkering with the setup. A real racing driver also has his technicians for the setup.
It will never happen because of the ABBA song: "Money, money, money".. :) Setup market is a bigger business currently than the games themselves. And yes, it's a shame.
I’ve spent an embarrassing amount on setups and IMO in AC, ACC and iracing even, the base setups are actually a great place to start. The bigger thing I would like in ACE is fixed setup races like in iracing.
@@blaze23045 Then try making a single setup in Richard Burns Rally... it's gonna take you so long that you'll spend more time in that one single FUNCTIONAL setup than the time you spent making all your setups in all your other sim racing games combined...

For me as a PC sim racer, triple screen support should be a day one priority. I run three 27" monitors, and with either just the middle monitor available, or a horrible stretched effect like in WRC, it would not be worth it. I would hope with the experience Kunos have they understood a large portion of their customer base run triples. I have a lot of enthusiasm for Evo, and think it could be epic
Im almost sure i heard it would have VR and tripple screen support at launch. BTW... If you use tripple screen, do you only get 1/3 of the framerate, or how badly does it affect your fps? I got a 4080 Super, and only need to get one more monitor to get a tripple screen setup, but i cant stand framerates below 120fps, so im not sure if it is worth it.
@@EspenFrafalne I did also read it has triples at launch, but it was a bit vague in this interview and they kind of glossed over it. Triples were definitely not shown in action at the expo. Which means its not set up for it yet. They have claimed it optimised for VR though, which is excellent news as I run a Crystal Light. Triples for me did drop the frame rate a bit, but not too much mate. I still get about 200 FPS, and previous to that was hitting a steady 240. They are 27" 1440p 0.03ms 240hz Oleds, so possibly a bit easier on the CPU and GPU than IPS or VA panels. Which has to be factored in. Depending on the rest of your set up and game settings, you should achieve over 120fps, that's absolutely doable. @@exponentialbet6292 Expos and E-sports events tend to use curved 32:9 monitors instead of triple screen setups.
1:35 did you mean over at racedepartement?
I think this release if marketed well will do the same for the company as Elden Ring done for Fromsoft.
I hope im wrong, but renting and buying cars in the freeroam kinda sounds like we have to grind to get access to the good cars... Hopefully this is only for carreer mode or something, because games that introduce this type of grind have made me play so much in the beginning i get bored with the game before i get to the good stuff. Im not sure im gonna buy this game if its like that
lets be honest here, assetto corsa doesnt "have" drifting. AC1 IS sim drifting.
there is no other digital drifting scene. there's no other drift sim. there's no other place with this much in depth to one discipline such as drifting with ac (trust me, ive looked around)
i spent the last idk, like 3 years debating on whether or not i should get AC, since i dont have a wheel, trying out every drift game out there, and AC IS drifting for the sim
they realized it and will add it for ACEvo which is just cherry on top of the cake, they really know what they're doing
Carrer mode in AC was lacking in presence. Excited to play proper sim game with deepth of economy and progress.
This is going to sound dumb but in terms of the free roam and car customisation... I compare it to GTAV. I really liked back in the day, me and my friends would roam the world in very different cars which we made to look how we liked.
Hmmmm I'm a bit afraid that SRP wont exist on AC Evo and its our favorite free roam maps
Scenario 1:
It will exist but a Japanese company will take over shutoko expressway map LiDAR scanned and will be for sale but developers of SRP wont be there and wont be the ones owning it, it will be that Japanese company
Scenario 2:
It wont exist on AC Evo, because the Japanese government wont allow it in the context of "It entices illegal racing and speeding on shutoko express way"
I know its over the top but thinking how these people think welp.....
I guess only way to get around these 2 scenarios is that hide racing things in the pretext of:
1. Use the word "driving simulator" it makes foreigners more familiar with the express way and Japanese road rules.
2. Economy exist so getting "caught" speeding gets you a fine and getting into an accident gets you a fine and damage repairs(kinda like need for speed and GTA V role play lol)
I dont know but its just my speculation of the licensing stuff, like i wanna make this mod but need to ask those guys first(dont get me wrong it gives modders a network and a future job opportunity) but when SRP ask for a license to make the mod chances gets a bit slim when the business peeps and government peeps gets involved
if you think we cant hear Crossroads in your intro music then you are severley mistaken.
So, Kunos saw all the mod support in AC and said "How do we monetize this?" Thats how their wording makes it sound.
I hope the damage model is better than ACs and ACCs but not really hopeful, it’s probably similar to those..
Is this playable on controller?
I would love to see Honda in ACE maybe 2024 civic type-R? That would be sweet.
Any kind of mod restriction is a slippery slope to no mods and microtransactions
how are they going to get this to run on Xbox S?
Super Ultrawide support 32:9 ?
We played on a 32:9 during the demo livestream, so yes 😁 -Michel
If I am able to buy my own car and it will be mine and unique, I also wish damage and costs (ingame credits) for repairs. And serious realistic costs. People would drive way more responsible if there were consequences for their actions. Dont know why no game dev did this so far.
I hope GTA VI devs take note of the immense market there is for immersive free driving. Last time with GTA V the driving was very arcade-like, even without manual transmission and slower than normal supercars.
I don’t believe GTA driving will ever not be „arcadey”
@@szymonski1905 yeah too many fortnite kids and now the RP losers on it for it to be even slightly more realistic
@@szymonski1905 honestly I think a lot of simracers would be already happy with just a wheel support implementation, only for giving us the ability of chillingly driving around the roads of Vice City with a proper steering wheel.
And I know, all of this it may sounds stupid, but I invite everyone to try Mafia The City of Lost Heaven on PC with a steering wheel (they're natively supported, at least it was with the G27) and see how it's way nicer to just drive calmly around Lost Heaven compared to a pad
no, please don't. I already hated realistic physics in GTA IV. I don't play GTA to drive a car, but to become a boss by killing a lot of bad people or robbing them.
@@sebastian1961 GTA IV physics were not that realistic, they just made all the car springs ultra soft and made it so nobody wore seatbelts so crashing would make you fly out of the windshield which did not help for the driving in the game
Any news on PSVR2?
I think will be support but not for eye tracking like in PS5 GT7.
Did AC Evo fix the real crappy braking dynamic with pedals?
crazy to me that their emissives/lights are no better than AC1. Meanwhile GT has amazing looking reflectors, projectors etc.
From what we know so far this sounds like they took some very good parts from Horizon nad Grand Turismo and blended them down into the epic FFB and graphics that kunoz delivers. This game is gonna be so big for so many years!
@@yurilopes420 if you read again u will see there was no comparison
@@Speedyey if you read my comment again you'll realize you're 100% correct and i was on some bullshit
my bad gang, didnt read the "some parts" lmao
Ok, so is it 100% confirmed that Nordschleife is included in the base product, not a paid DLC?
Sounds really promising but it also sounds like they are years away from a full release.
As dev said: ". . . Updates for years to come, hopefully forever." In this situation, there is no such thing as "full release"
Step aside dev teams of Modern Forza Motorsport 2024 Asseto Corsa is coming to town!
I hope they push the graphics to the absolute pc limits. We need it as good if not better than gt7
It's not possible to get GT7 level graphics on pc.
You do realize that this is a real sim not simcade like GT7 ?
PHYSICS will take majority of your pc load then spare room is for rest of the stuff.
When will this hit consoles?
@@sebastiennudo7792 *At least a year after the early access*
nah kunos are the best developers i have ever seen
They featured the i30n with 8-speed dct, instead of 6MT. In real life the dct is more comfortable and easier to drive, but why in the game? This is assetto corsa, why they chose the heavier, less interesting DCT version of the car? Now I only believe they're putting more and more sh*t into the game like forza and nfs.
Calm down 🤣🤣🤣
@@szymonski1905 imagine getting THIS triggered over something this small 😂😂
we got our laundry list of official asks for assetto corsa we been asking for a literal decade and this dude "BUT MUH 6 SPEED MANUAL HYUNDAI, PLS NO DCT"

I hope Vulcan Alpha wings are available
I see microtransaction HEAVEN. Shitty free mods with no flexibility. Paid mods with flexibility and variants / higher quality in feel and look. Paid skins for gloves / helmets / shoes / clothes. Chests like CS2 for those. Available on steam markets. Don't forget ultra rare legendaries from the chests - Steering wheels, rims, liveries, accessories. Imagine the possibilities if they do chests like cs2 😂
the devs said (well at least abt the official more soon to be added cars/dlc) it wont have any microtransaction, but i think there will be a lot of paid mods free mods imo is gonna be crap
yeah yall really talking out your ass
it's been said, written and repeated that kunos is 100% against microtransactions. "oh they're full of shit all devs are the same", try to think of kunos as the Fromsoftware of racing games. they dont lie and they will deliver
@@yurilopes420 honestly I wouldnt mind a crate system like cs
@@yurilopes420 yea the only thing that will be a paid one is the mods, either tracks or cars (mostly cars) so no wonder if there will be some sort of protest from the players bcs a lot of mods will be a paid mods unlike the old AC, and tbf im not gonna be surprised if the old AC will have more players than AC evo bcs of this

FREE ROAM, LETS FCKN GOOOO!!!!
EEEVOOO! not EVO xD LOL no matter how much they want us to say EVO I will never be able to do it.... and it sounds weird when said like that if not spoken in Italian!!! And this combo of German speaking Englisch and putting in Italian words is just killer :D
At same time, i completly agree with you
wind affects the car in ACC and every other sim. also, kunos is probably smaller than a lot of the modding companies.
@@zachdoran10 Also, what the fuck is a modding company? Modders are usually one person or a very small team of people that operate for zero profit, such as the one i referenced (custom shaders patch and CM) which was created by Peter Boese free of charge for the community.
Between this and MFSF 2024, I’m getting such a nerd boner.
This is another small game?
Sounds more like a big racing game by looks of things thst could have every party happy.
But to me it already looks pretty great
yall are weird
its like a pre alpha. it's like a vertical slice of the game. shows a bunch of stuff, but just a bit of most of it
graphics are most likely not final. and there will for sure be adjustments
you're suffering from nothing, relax its ok
16 January - Shanuary. Wake me up for PS5 version. Zero interest in fiddling around with a desktop; I just wanna race,
/shrug.
2026 at best maybe even 2027,
Buy a pc to get the best experince on ac evo.
Is there also something known about GT3 classes or other race classes added in AC Evo?
I'll follow and like everyone playing AC EVO, sometimes it's interesting to watch people progressing in career, driving academy, doing races. sometimes I'm too tired to race myself but can't wait to jump in...
Just take my money.

Acc 2 ? What are you saying 😂 probably never get out
@@michelepalermo5739 Why not, they have their own graphics and physics engine now! It wouldnt even take that long, most of the work is done.
Why wouldn't they just release a GT3/4 DLC in ACE? ACE doesn't seem to lack any features of ACC.

A good thing then, when basicly every other sim just focus on racecars.
oh no. they're going the premium mod path like ark ascended?... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
If you ever need help with your fov btw, you tube trauma team, the guy is a fov genius. 👍
@@exponentialbet6292 Expos and E-sports events tend to use curved 32:9 monitors instead of triple screen setups. I guess because it gives it a cleaner and more seamless look, while a triple monitor setup gives a more "improvised" impression.
Id probably prefer a 32:9 monitor if i could find a nice curved one at a reasonable price, but the best compromize between quality and cost, has a prohibitive pricetag of 2000 dollars where i live (its probably 30% cheaper in the US). Maybe one day/year - during a black friday event 😏
