Things I care about are how does the game play? How is the multiplayer? Can I control the hosting or is it all at their whim? Do the cars handle like real cars or is it too hard to drive? Too easy? Is the lag between players bad or minimal? I don't care about how pretty the graphics are or did they catch the stitching on the leather seats right? I don't care. Is this going to be another highly modded game like the original or no mods? Don't tell me about the reflections in the paint. I don't care. Until they release it and everyone is either happy or deleting the game after a week... That tells me what I need to know.
[Drivers academy =GT7] +[open world= Forza Horizon]+ [dealerships= TDU] +[realistic physics= AC ] +[online rating system = iRacing] = Assetto Corsa EVO
A lot of games use fog and such to limit draw distance to limit gpu workload and improve performance. I wouldn’t be surprised if they use that to make the huge map playable for a greater range of users.
You're thinking of games from 10 or maybe 20 years ago, I can't recall any recent game that I've played which uses that effect. No even Skyrim back in 2011 used it.
I never liked the way Gran Turismo rendered space, way too sterile. What you call fog, in my opinion, is actually haze which is more realistic, at least in the areas represented in the video. My 2 cents.
One of the key succesfactors for the original Assetto Corsa was the mods and modding community. I am very curious to find out how EVO is going to deal with mods. And will we be able to bring all our mods from previous versions over to AC EVO? I have some choice RSS cars, that I would love to bring into the new game.
Marco said that the modding environment will be completely different. It will be done in tandem with manufacturers and official licensing. No more asset rips
@mikiplgames2437 yes but not how you are representing it. From the way they talk they will be working on what mods are supported and basically controlling what is and isn't allowed and brought on on there end. Never have they said it will be open source and open for any mod that ppl want want to use.
It will be paid mods like the "creation club" that have to be approved like Bethesda use for Skyrim, Fallout 4 etc. Kunos want a cut of the money as well as the modder
With Forza Horizon overtaking the original franchise and ACE's massive open world I'm very excited to see if PD could potentially give us the open world Japan FH has refused to give us so far with the next Gran Turismo.. While I'm very excited for AC Evo, the potential compitition gets me even more hyped. Exciting times in the sim racing world in both hardware and software!
This is what i always wanted, a GT game but with actual sim physics. And am pretty sure they can pull it off seeing Ac and Acc. So, just take my money 😀
Mods will be there but they will need to be approved by Kunos Simulazioni i think it has everything to do with Car Manufacture Licensing companies don't want to see parts flying off their cars in games Sponsors need to be readable after a car crash they make it very hard for developers
They said free roam and 100 cars and the other content will be released 4/25 not in the fall that is sprung of 2025. He says it right towards the end of the video
@chrissss696 lmao. He literally says well. Be releasing the 1.0 on 4/25 at the 16:34 to 1645 time stamp. Probably should listen and atleast ask where he says it instead of just saying something completely wrong and then trying to justify it by asking why would he say it like that.
@@danielcase2189 you should listen at 14:21 you muppet, he says they're releasing the Nurburgring free roam map "in summer 25, during the early access build". You can check the original video at 4:12 if you want to hear it without RC talking over it. They're not going to release 1.0 in April and just go back to early access for summer, are they?
Man I am so stoked for this to release. Im on console and i know we are getting the game after pc, but this may push me to get a pc if they downgrade the console version as much as they did for ACC. Not complaining, I love ACC, its all I play. But I wouldn’t want to play anything less than what Kunos are offering with this new sim 🤓
As a returning sim racer I made an extra investment to have the option to race GT7 on PS5 specifically for the driving academy feature. I've had racing setups in the past but the main reason I never got into it properly and ended reselling my equipment was specifically because of the grinding needed to get you into it. Without a structured learning process the time gap between starting to race and actually enjoying yourself while doing it can be steep enough to make you quit before you get there.
I saw the official trailer the guy was talking on the Nordschleife and suddenly it was snowing i was wonder if it was a secret message the trailer im talking about is called on TH-cam Assetto Corsa EVO: HUGE Open World Unveiled

Assetto Corsa evo could be the game we all wished for and without any mods at the start. It’s actually crazy
@@TDK471we will have to see if the servers can handle the influx of players, keep in mind what happened to TDU Solar Crown
I fear that the game can fail because its trying to be so many things at the same time
Since having a rig I only drive multiplayer ( cause of AC & ACC ). But during EA I'm all in testing the AI
@@3masouri I mean it has already a integrated offline mode but I don’t know if the open world will be offline too I hope so it will be

Also the fog makes the map kinda bigger even if it's not for example , I personally like it
Isn't the Eifel region usually foggy?
Reality: Game is still demanding as hell and demands a 4080 to play well

That will not be possible
They said already MANY times that Modding will be Officially Supported after the final Release 1.0

Also consoles

Very curious how their game engine will perform compared to ACC and modded AC.
did youu catch ther hint of ray tracing?
6:32 in overtake gg's live stream we saw the mx5 cup.
And 488 Challenge Evo
I hope they have a Honda S2000 as well :)
Im so excited for this title and I'll certainly be buying in day one.

Interesting that they have Mini listed as a brand rather than Austin (the previous previews had old style minis in it I think).
the alfa junior is an electric. I think they are going for several eletrics, for some reason. Alpine, Hyundai
Alfa Junior has eldctric and hybrid models
Surprised about the lack of mention of "mods"...

Is this a racing game or a driving game..?
It's whatever you choose it to be.
From what they've said, they're intending it to be both.
Just like the original ac, it can be a racing game and driving game

Kunos has cooked😍👍👌
Crossovers and SUVs are good for traffic 😂
They can't compete with Gran Turismo, sadly. Gran Turismo 8 will outsell this and Forza by 100,000%.
May remind u how orginial ac has alot players and sales after 10 years?
Gran turismo is trash
lol Grand Turismo its not a Sim but a demolition derby online it's good for kids
Gt7 is good game in its own right, but they have to put in effort for gt8 otherwise they will lose players
