Charging the 2024 Polestar 2 Dual Motor Performance! /// Crowded Public Stations!

My first review of 2024 and my first ever Polestar experience was in this refreshed MY24 Polestar 2 Dual Motor Performance Plus! (long name right?) While the exterior isn’t much changed, the entire character of the 2 is new for 2024 with new motors, a RWD bias, and loads of quirks. This tester came in around $68k. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

-LG Chem 78kWh battery (75kWh useable)
-455 HP, 546 Ib-ft Torque
-247mile EPA Range / 155kw DC fast Charging
-112 MPGe City, 100 MPGe Highway, 32kWh/100miles
-4,719lbs Curb weight
-New Synchronus rear motor, new induction front motor
-0-60 MPH Tested in around 4.1-4.4 seconds (winter tires)⚡️

Highs:
+The chassis control impressed me, largely thanks to the RWD bias, playful rear end, torquey eMotors, and slick manually adjustable Ohlins suspension.
+The styling remains distinctive inside and out, now with a smoother front facia, and epic polestar logos, like the glowing roof example, gold accents, and open pore wood interior.
Lows:
-The interior ergonomics need rethinking: quirky cupholder situation, unnecessarily wide center console, tight rear headroom, unusual charger port placement, and hazard light switch placement.
-While new RWD models can now achieve around 300miles of range, this Dual Motor Performance is reduced down to 200-247miles of range.
-The seats are fantastic but for a performance model they could use more bolstering.
It’s a unique product that stands out in the EV space but we have yet to truly experience a ground up Polestar ethos, coming soon in the 3, 4, 5, and 6.

I am not able to find the adaptive cruise control settings. I have the luxury 170kw model with the glass roof. I only have the regular ‘cruise control capability at the moment and can not find the ‘LIM’ feature on my car display setting tab. I’m not sure why? Any help would be appreciated. Great video! I really enjoy the Polestar2

The timer is estemating the time on what the car could charge if the charger would have given maximum speed.

The battery pre-condition is automatic if you use Google Maps to navigate to the charging station. I don't know if that works with Apple Maps since I don't have an iPhone.

This is unfortunate if you don’t use google maps like I never do. They should add a button to pre-condition like other EV/

@@Allcarnews Agreed, it should work with all apps like Waze and ABRP too so you could pick and choose your favorite.

Compared to the Tesla Supercharger Network.... This is slow and unreliable... Maybe it was busy because it was the only working one in the area?. It is such a nice car and so limited by these wonky charging networks. How much did the session cost ?
