Another interesting thing about the Triple Trouble remake is that the game is being made with authentic Sega Genesis limits, like 64 colors on screen (from a 512 color palette) and all the FM and PSG channels for music. Even the special stage have capped framerates for extra authenticity. It's fucking great!

Sunset Park. Specifically, Act 3.
I actually prefer the main theme over the act 3 theme, but both are my top 2 picks for best music in the game.

The 16 bit remake is out. It's truly amazing and Atomic Destroyer has been fixed and turned into a better zone than Death Egg from Sonic 3k. The maze is gone.

The fan made Master System port is pretty cool too. Game is already built really well around the screen crunch but it's still nice to have the extra space.
I saw that in my research but decided i'd rather just play the OG and then talk about the remake. If the only difference is lack of screen crunch which i didn't find to be a huge issue in this version anyway, they're basically interchangeable imo.

I feel as if Sunset Park is an industrial park, which is why it looks like a factory level.

Wasn't a bootleg, it was an official port made by tectoy which sega had contracted to bring their consoles to brazil.
Finally someone who likes Triple Trouble. Clearly the best 8 bit Sonic games, and in my opinion even one of the best 2D Sonic games in general.

To be fair, Sonic Blast is a pretty cool "bootleg". Not a _good_ bootleg, by any measure, but still kinda cool. Like a shiny, new invention that should have been really great but is actually lackluster and defective.
The fact that many of the gimmicks and the background art in the underwater stage are so similiar to Sonic CD, makes me very happy. These are two very good games -w-
