Awesome. I have these editions of Dracula, Lovecraft, Poe, Dante's Inferno and King's Three Novels. They mesh really well with my other horror and dark fantasy books (:
@@milesknightestrada3286 I haven't looked through everything but I do have the lovecraft one that has the ornate Cthulhu on it, The Vampire Chronicles from Anne Rice, and I have an Illiad/Odyssey one but it is way more traditional looking.
@@TenDollarSlimer I am aware they have done several runs on certain volumes. Their first Sherlock one is of interest, for it, like your Odyssey and Illiad, looks more traditional. I considered getting their Cthulhu Mythos tales, for it would be nice to have a less unwieldy edition of the stories, but The Complete Fiction seems to suit the purpose for me.
@@milesknightestrada3286 I wanted their printing of King's The Stand but, man alive, was the yellow and orange theme on that cover repulsive to look at.
i have the oxford of Milton Paradise Lost . on my top shelf . its like seeing a masterpiece of a movie in the big theatre. a joy to read and i take notes on a notebook .
I love these editions as well, but not as much as my Easton Press editions. I loved your thumb-nail, that is what grabbed my attention, it is my personal collection of Barnes & Noble Leather bound Classics picture I put on Reddit you are free to use it, I have no gripe about its usage
This is personal preferences but the HP Lovecraft Complete Fiction might be complete but I think I prefer the older the Cthulhu Mythos collection which only has the mythos. I love the cover and book design.
I take that as a compliment. Incidentally, reamce is my sole reason for doing this whole thing. I have done a tribute video in which I extolled the effects he has had on me, and continues to have. He responded to it very well.
Thanks! (it is my picture I put on Reddit) I have added a few more since I took that picture several years ago, but now they want like $35 and $40 each for them, I stopped buying them. I bought most of mine for an average of $12 each
The Arabian Nights one is gorgeous but it has the Burton's translation, that not only is not the most accurate one but also is written with archaisms and makes for a difficult read, according to other youtubers.
Considering that I'm used to archaisims, and dabble in them myself, I think the Burton translation wouldn't be too difficult. I do, however, have an Easton Press edition of The Arabian Nights, which unfortunately negates me from getting the Barnes and Noble version. For now, anyway.
I’m an Easton Press, Franklin Library snob myself but see nothing wrong with the B&N Editions. They look great on a shelf. I recently picked up the B&N edition of “The Stand” and I love it. Don’t limit yourself.
@@REEE_Larson I agree, I love my easton Press, and Folio Society books, but my Barnes & Noble books are not bad (the thumbnail is actually my B&N Collection)

I keep re-reading the Sherlock Holmes stories in one form or another. Time to commit to that lovely edition you presented here!
I love these! I want all of them!
I absolutely love their Hitchhiker's Guide edition. I can't remember what others I have...might have to look through to refresh my memory.
Do let me know which others you have when you get the chance.

Nice! My very first copy was Jurassic Park and Lost World. But I look to add more classics in my collection.
I've got to be able trust that none of the text is edited, censored or modified for "modern sensibilities"..
From what I gather, everything published in the Barnes and Noble leather-bound classics series is unabridged and unexpurgated.

Wonderful reviews and video, it reminds me of the prime days of Reamce. :)

@@detronbrian The same with me! Books became very expensive, especially in English, and I have to go to the library, which is free as yet!🥰🤗🤔

It's nice too see a homer Simpson novel! Lol 😆
So underrated Your channel
Thank you kindly.
I believe they are the Sirens.
if anything falls off just glue it back on
Who’s the lady handling the books? ✋
I want to say about your hands, clever and touchfool.
I have three, the arabian nights, the divine comedy and war and peace
The problem i have with B&N is that they should really be focusing on classics, noy jurasdic Park, Star Wars, or Dr Who
The problem I have with some people is that they assert their random opinions as absolutes and facts.
@hawkname1234 If you think I stated a fact then you need to go back to school and learn the difference
stop breathing into the fkn mic....
Lol showing off B&N collection is like showing off a Geo Metro collection. Neat but no flex

Maybe he wasn't trying to "flex" and just wanted to share his love for books?
