The only classic books I got are j.r.r. Tolkien set grandma got me for Christmas and it’s very good.

I'm absolutely addicted to Leather Bound Classics... I have 5 as of right now. Poes Collected Works, Calssic Westerns, Robert Louis Stevenson Collected Works, The Encyclopedia of Tolkien, and The Complete Sherlock Holmes Collection.. My collection is growing and I have about 100 on my wish list lol 🙏🏼🙏🏼 happy reading
The diversity of color and design of the books is so lovely. The Oz book is a real sentimental favorite for me. I love the original illustrations. Amazing classic collection!
Those B&N Oz books have all the OG illustrations. It’s the only way to experience the series. Just so gorgeous!

Nice set of books, id wish they did more of those. I have the HP lovecraft aswell and the frontcover is just mindblowing with all those reflections really nice
Awesome collection! So many great classics! I love Doctor Who too. The Daleks are used a lot, but that's done because of what they represent, and they're generally a good foil for The Doctor. It's cheesy fun. Loved seeing all these wonderful books!!!
I love the Agatha Christie books. And Then There Were None is my favorite too. Also haven't read the other two so I might look for them this week. Great collection.

You should check out Gryphon Edition Leather Bound Books.. They're around 65-80 dollars a piece but they are gorgeous books

Wonderful video. I too have started a B&N collection but do not have nearly as many. I do have the 2 Agatha Christie collections and the Aseops Fables. Also a soft cover with what I think is a leather bound edition of The Picture of Dorian Gray with green end pages.
I love the Barnes and Nobel leatherbound book series I just picked up the great gatsby, Dracula, the Iliad and the odyssey, and the art of war.

Smoothly presented and an engaging tour of these beautiful editions to boot. I have quite a few, but not your hard leather version of Frankenstein or the criminally expensive (due to resellers) "Tarzan Of The Apes". And yes, re Doctor Who, the Daleks are always wheeled out to revive the show when ideas dry up. Sadly, quite often!

I have a very similar one of the B&N complete Poe works. I'd really like to memorize The Raven and Annabelle Lee sometime. I just think it would be fun to be able to recite. Awesome collection!

I loved the Agatha Christie ones(at 10:50) but I already have all the stories in singles books...I would buy that edition of Murder in The Orient Express & other stories, tho. It looks so pretty.

I have The Eye of the world on my shelves too but I'm not in the head space for an epic series at the moment.

@@LibraryMacabre Yeah it was pretty good reorganising the shelves apart from dusting my POP vinyl dolls of Chucky and Stephen King with the blood on the axe and running down his face.

Amy, try Amazon UK for the ones that are still in print. I have expanded my B&N editions from Amazon recently.

My problem with the B&N leatherbound classics is that they have too much variance in their spines, so when they're in a row on your shalf they don't look at uniform as, say, Canterbury Classics.
THE DARK IS RISING! SHOUTOUT! Books make up a fair aspect of my life, too lol although never (unfortunately!) my employment...

I've been to Barnes & Noble website looking at leather bound collection and apparently there's going to be a mandalorian and an Indiana Jones books being added to the collection come September of this year 2022 or at least the website says that there are pre-orders and delivery will happen sometime in September
Easton books are so expensive. And their covers aren't necessarily as good as way cheaper ones like Barnes and Nobles. Definitely something to leave for when I'm rich (aka never lol).

Your setup us absolutely awe-inspiring. And what a great thing to invest in. You are almost convincing me to give Easton Press some of my money. But you also have some B&N that I don't own yet. How do I not have B&N Dune?! I also didn't realize they had Star Wars and Star Trek, etc. I think because I can only shop on their website rather than in person, I've missed a lot of those!
I definitely recommend going to the physical store and buying them. It’s like finding treasure 😁

My Count of Monte Cristo's pages came upside down so i want to cry now
AFAIK the HP Lovecraft volume IS complete so far as his stories go (IE - all his fiction). It does not however contain all his letters to various other authors such as Robert E Howard which are extensive. Many of those have been published,but I'm not sure offhand if all of them have been. FYI.

Hey great collection! Been wanting to start a collection for awhile and I love the look of the Easton press but I’m wondering if you think they’re worth it, feel/quality wise? They seem to be an investment and I just want to make sure they’re good qualify before diving in. Thanks!
Easton Press books are the BEST quality books out there. They are genuine leather with 22k gold accents, sewn bindings, and satin endpapers. They’re the best in the business. :)

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice contains all books in the series? I have only 2 volumes from the series but I do want all of them.

Parker, Rules for Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall, Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody, The Tenth Girl by Sara Faring, The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman, Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco, and Last, but not least, His Hideous Heart: 13 of Edgar Allan Poe's Most Unsettling Tales Reimagined, by Selected authors who have took some of Poe's short stories and wrote them in their perspectives. ENJOY!!

Hey Cameron, I am one of your higgestfans and yes, I am technically a child (I am 12 years old) and I need some help.
So, my dad won’t let me read Richard Laymon because of the sexual content but then again he wants me to learn, I really like his books so what do I do? Are there any other authors like him? Hopefully you don’t think any differently if me.

Stine and other YA horror books. I also think the slasher books by Cameron Roubique would be a good one for you. They’re adult and pretty bloody but are good for young readers too. I hope that helps!
