I’m just speechless…I can’t believe Timmy has passed away. I feel so close to Stephanie and her family because she is so approachable for everyone. I just love her channel. Please keep us updated and let us know if there is anything she needs. May Timmy RIP in heaven. Please let her know that we all will be waiting (however long that takes) for her to return to TH-cam. May God bless her and provide her comfort. 😢

I think his name is Shane.
I love the window seat storage, your wall color is beautiful your fireplace area gorgeous, your outside deck all done so well! You two are a great team!! I bought a 14x80 a couple of months ago to retire in. Previous owner smoked in home so all old carpet was thrown out, zillions of staples pulled seriously manufacture went nuts with the staples. 2000 mh the subfloor is like new no water or rot anywhere..but I'm afraid some of the staples along boarder walls will jack up vinyl flooring or puncture through it eventually..Ceilings and walls have to be patched ,strips removed. The cigarette smell was so bad I couldn't live in it until carpet was out and walls washed down with hot water and vinegar & boxes of Baking soda every where. Smell is almost gone painting All Ceilings and walls should take care of that. I'm working on something every day so I don't get overwhelmed. Watching you has inspired me so much. Can't wait to see your next project
A few months ago I came across your channel as I was starting to paint trim and doorways. Three months later, and with nearly ALL of your videos played, I have my living room, hall, dining room, kitchen, all base and crown trim, as well as all my cabinets repainted and new curtains hung! (My boyfriend came to help me too but I did the cabinets all by myself.) I was always afraid to try DIY home projects. I didn’t want to mess things up. But you guys gave me the courage to do so.

An electric knife is what my husband uses to cut his foam in his upholstery shop. Love what you are doing, you two have made your house a home. A beautiful home.

Windex takes off magic marker...and so does magic eraser, but do eraser gently. Windex also takes off glued on price stickers too. Another trick...I buy poster putty in Dollar General in crafts aisle and use it to hold electric timer candles or regular candles which makes them stick on securely onto candlestick holders.
I’ve watched y’all for at least 2 years, and I have seen such growth from you and Shane on so many fronts. He’s going to be able to do just about any handyman chore! Y’all make a great team! Super proud of y’all’s progress! ❤

This was so beautiful and VERY creative. I love the way that you guys work together. I thought the textured knobs were a special touch and they compliment the texture in the brick wall as well. It's been such a blessing to have found this channel.

Oh my goodness! I was sewing on a project while you were talking about favorite commercials. Merina, you did the K9 Advantage commercial and then Shane and I sang a duet. We were good. I just know some fancy opera house will be calling us to perform.😂 When my youngest son was 4 y.o. he sang it like this, "Call JG Wentworth 1-800-cash-cow!" We would just roll everytime that commercial came on to hear him singing Cash Cow at the top of his lungs. He's 26 now and will still kind of sing along every now and then. Happy memories!

I love all your makeovers but this one is my absolute favourite! I used to do all sorts of makeovers when my kids were little, my husband would roll his eyes when I'd ask for tools for my birthday (but, he's still get them for me, he's a good one lol). I'm a bit battle worn with health issues to be doing them now but I love watching you and Shane get things done. You're an inspiration to a lot of people x

Love watching your videos. We were making over our mobile home and had alot of it done and the tornado came through and destroyed it. Now we are trying to start over building. Thanks for the upbeat encouragement! Gives me hope for our new place whenever that will be.

Another WIN! I’m telling you y’all could make a blue million decorating for other people.
One excellent "makeover" is to reinforce the support beam by installing a jack post. Adding weight to your mobile home such as adding sheetrock, heavy shelving, batten board walls, etc will cause sagging and you NEED the proper frame to support this. It's not a cosmetic upgrade, but an upgrade WELL WORTH it.

Just want to say that I have been watching your channel for a while now and you motivate and encourage me! I also have ADD and need to declutter and organize this house!
I’m also a mom of 4, we live in a 2009 mobile home- ours is a double wide but still very similar- and I’ve been a stay at home mom going to law school online since 2018. I started off as a divorced teen mom of two in a single wide and 7 years later upgraded to our double wide and have been proud of it cuz I did that all on my own! Now, My hubby and I have a small family farm in Louisiana and we go to TN for vacation often! We also have overcome many obstacles and learned about each other and have grown so much in the past 12 years of marriage. We have a similar story where we kept being in the same place but the timing was never right for us until it was. I’m so glad y’all share your story- the good and the bad and the ugly- because it is real and inspiring. Also, I LOVE all the remodeling y’all have done and I am so stealing a few of your ideas! Lol😂 I feel like we are so similar and I am so grateful for your videos and you being REAL and open about so much. Thanks so much for all you do!

I’m currently semi, unhomed and just found a 10x52 1984 mobile home on FB market place for $1000. I don’t have the $1000 or a way to move it but, I like the idea of dreaming about having my own home again 😊. These makeover videos are fun to watch.

P.S. I was broken hearted when I woke up this morning to the news dear Timmy had passed away. I'm just so sad for Stephanie. Merina please tell Stephanie we all love her & so sorry for her loss, I understand her grief as our daughter also passed of a pulmonary embolism at 37 yrs old.
Nice job you two! Yes, we are 💔💔💔 over Timmy too. My son does dialysis so I've felt a connection. My son was asking if it happened while at dialysis 😞. My son has so many issues during dialysis, it really is hard on their bodies. May God comfort Stephanie as we all know Timmy isn't suffering anymore and is with Jesus.😭😭😭

I am dying laughing at ya'll singing the different jingles. What's even funnier is that i was singing along with you. Fixing to tell my age. Lol Back in 70's and 80s, shake and bake came out with theirs mocking the southern accent. They had a southern kid say, "My moma used Shake and Bake, and I help!!!!!!" Oh i hated that commerical cause of them mocking our accents. Lmao😅😅😅😅
Advice from a self contractor . I'm a specialist in drywall and painting .. Walmart paint will peels off .. like rubber . Suggesting maybe using Porter paint or Sherwin Williams . They last so much longer and do not peel .. They are a bit more pricey . BUT worth not having to repaint later .. so you will truly save by buying the most expensive . :)
