The slow atk speed disproportionately disfavors the engi, because it not only slows down the placement of the sentries, the sentries are also just as strong as before.
The issue with the 2-2-2 Alchemist (and 3-3-3) is that the acid splash replaces their base attack, unlike caltrops which is an extra attack. If there are no bloons nearby, they will use their attack to place it down. This makes them run into the same issue as the mortar, where no matter what they all attack at the same time, and since their attack speed is slower, but the acid pools don't last longer, they're left wide open to faster bloons. The reason the 3-3-3 was attacking the moab class bloons is because the Unstable Concoction is an extra attack which only targets moabs; unfortunately it only applies the status effect, not any direct damage, which is why the bfbs weren't popping from the dozen or so potions that were thrown at them, even with 20x damage. TLDR, Acid Pools is a poorly executed upgrade that actively makes the Alchemist worse when crosspathed, even in normal games

A rainbow bloon has an RBE of 47, but only 8 layers, so an 8+ damage shot takes it out in one hit. This also significantly reduces the amount of pierce required, due to layer skipping. For example, if a tower beats 74 but loses to 75, you can upgrade it, then beat 74 again to "save" all the upgrades you did, since you know the tower can handle 74 already. Also I love the screen effects you added in time lapses in sync with the music!

can confirm that factor meals are pretty much worth it, they're decently tasty and are as easy to prepare as he advertised, but you just gotta try and find the meals you like because some of them aren't what i expected, but id say overall a solid 7.5/10 eating experience, id still rather drive to wendy's because im lazy though
I mean… lowering the attack speed for more damage also puts you at disadvantage in the super early game, and insane free play rounds once bloons start getting so fast they they reach the exit before anything can attack or hit them. It’s the reason why boomers lost to ddts on 352 and bomb shooter died twice to 128. It’s why the plane lost on round 321. A big portion of these losses could be avoided. A lot of These 5-5-5’s could go WAY farther.

Honestly, Impoppable mode in BTD5 is basically normal mode, even in Mastery, Mastery actually makes it way more fun. I can pretty much get 3 Million by round 40.

The reason the bank loses money is that the max amount the bank can hold doesn't change. This means, the bank actually fills up in less than a single round, and any extra money is lost. Also, there's no interest because there's no space. Theoretically, with perfect micro, the bank could be ever so slightly better, because you could get interest on the last bit of cash in the bank right as the round ends, but this is absolutely unlikely.
Max ultraboost stacks gives 66% attack speed, so to avoid ultraboosting everything you can just change the attack speed settings to 0.084 instead of 0.05. The engineers also scale off of attack speed twice, because the number of turrets is based off of attack speed, and then the turrets still fire based off of attack speed. You can fix this by setting the damage multiplier to around 300x, with the reasoning why below. Ideally, you would want 1/20th of the turrets dealing 20x damage at normal attack speed, but you actually have 1/20th of the turrets attacking at 1/20th the speed at 20x damage, which is still 20 times weaker. This would be difficult to balance because obviously any extra damage applies to the engineer itself, but if you want a more accurate representation of the engineer, something between 200x and 400x damage would be better. At 200x damage, the engineer itself would be 10x stronger, but the turrets would still be 10x weaker. At 400x damage, the engineer would be 20x stronger, and the turrets would be normal strength. Considering the turrets do most of the damage this probably isn't too unbalanced. So yeah something like 300x damage would be what you want for testing the engineers

The sub monkey was using preemptive strike which automatically hits the BAD bloons for a ton of damage. (This is what the 5th tier middle path sub does, it automatically first strikes all Moab class bloons as they come in)

Setting accessibility to 99% will stop full screen effects (like title wave , snowball, ect) The lag isn't graphic weakness, it's the system calculations for each dart, and the bloons . Basicly because there a few hundred thousand darts calculations plus the bloons calculations then it will cause some lag on your CPU or RAM . As well as the confusion of the system trying to understand what tier it is for the calculations **TLDR** It's baggy because it's doing a ton of math , not (as much) from what's just on screen. Useless TIP: MereMonkeys get more range when in water...it may nit make a huge difference tho Also love your videos Neo (how did you get banned?)

The reason that BTD lags so much even on high end computers is that the game is coded in a way where it can't multithread - it can only use one core of your CPU at a time. This means that even if you have a crazy CPU it'll still be very slow.

Ability glue gunner does better because the glue storm makes things take +1 damage per hit, and bloon solver technically deals one damage 20 times per second. Now that I think about it, that also puts sniper and ice monkey at a bit of a disadvantage. When you're doing 20x damage 20x slower, +5 per hit is a lot less impactful lol

Adding 20 damage to a 20 damage tower isn't gonna do anything, but when you make it 20x slower it loses 95% of it's damage.
What is your solution then? He literally acknowledges that it might be unfair but its the only way he can do it.

i would have loved seeing you use the auto targeting for the gattling gunners, it is literally the main feature of the area denial path.
