That is the normal range for a Scarecrow, it's 8 tiles in every direction going outwards from a Scarecrow. It looks a bit bigger though because there is a second Scarecrow already placed a bit higher
I recently starting a playthrough and the rng I got is trash 😂. I only got 2 days of rain in the spring, 1 the guaranteed day 3 and the other one is in 15th. Only 1 green rain and first rain in the mid fall
