12:00 I think the reason why glue gunner managed to kill the first BAD but couldn't do anything against the second one or the ZOMG is, that only one type of glue can be applied to a bloon/blimp at a time. When they get hit by Moab glue, then the get locked in place for a bit and are dealt like 50 damage (obviously far more in this case because of the ascended upgrades) every time they get hit. But with every hit it also spawns a puddle of bloon solver glue on the floor. When another blimp comes out and/or the original blimp pops, it will immediately get covered in that bloon solver glue, which doesn't slow them down and deals comparitively low damage. The glue gunner then keeps shooting it with the Moab glue, which can't hit it because it already has the solver glue on it, but still spawns a puddle which then immediately replenishes the bloon solver glue making it impossible to deal enough damage to destroy them. TL;DR: Glue gunner would be absolutely busted if it was only a Moab glue with 3000 upgrades
The infinite upgrades mod gives projectiles an insane amount of pierce. Normally it doesn’t matter because the projectiles go off the screen but for ace, where the projectiles will keep looping around, it just keeps getting stronger every round
Also doesn't help that the game has to calculate the damage for each hit.... so the more hits you're doing, the more the PC hates what you're doing....
The DDTs getting too fast to hit is a pretty common challenge in making video games actually, as collision is usually handled by checking the location something is currently in, where it will be after one frame of movement, and sometimes- depending on how accurate it needs to be- performing a raycast or simplified version of one between the two locations. But, in situations like Super Mario 64, none of these 3 approaches can actually prevent teleporting through walls with unlimited speed, because even the simplified raycast approach is often done by just checking at increments of the total travel distance, say 10 steps. But, if one of those single steps is already a large enough distance to completely clear the wall, then all 10 steps together will ABSOLUTELY be passed it. The DDTs work the same way at such insane speed scaling, where they entirely skip over the region where most of the projectiles are, making it so they essentially can’t be hit, and in fact it’s even worse because he needs to run that check against tens of thousands of bodies which are moving instead of just stationary like walls. Assuming the bloon speed continues to scale indefinitely with rounds, even BADs should be expected to reach that speed at some point.

It would leave behind like 100 (I could be way off) superbuffed acid puddles, and I believe they function like spactory’s spikes, which benefit from both pierce and damage. Basically, the glue gunner set up a knockoff stockpile of perma-spactory spikes, which would explain why he didn’t defeat the insides or the other BAD- because he was out of puddles. Hope this helps (although I could be WAY off lmao)

with the beast handler try checking the ultimate crosspathing settings, I remember that in earlier versions alchemist wasn't enabled by default and you had to change it's settings

When you get to ridiculous round counts, bloons move so fast that they don’t calculate stuff like spikes properly. At some point, DDTs will literally teleport to the end of the map, because they’re so fast that each game tick they move so far that it’s off the map’s end
In addition, spikes perform 1 attack per tick they’re in contact with a bloon. They may be doing thousands of damage, but they can only do it twice, because the BAD moves off it before it can use all its damage
19:35 my best guess to why retrying a round sometimes doesn't save the tower has to do with skipping rounds. As you can see, you started at round 1 before you placed anything. Because you can see that you're going to win, you might have skipped to high rounds before the game could officially save you winning. And so it just puts you back at round 1 instead of like, 1,000

It’s called “Spike Skipping” when a balloon hops over a spike without taking damage. You can see this with a pink balloon and a 0-0-0 spike factory pretty well at round 200 ish.
the heli probably lags heavily because the stacking effects on its mere existance would cause issues like the damage, Knockback and blowback it probably causes a freeze on the game when you have all 3 and amplify them
The way to stop losing upgrade progress on a tower is to finish a round with these upgrades, this causes an autosave for a last round restart. Finish a round to keep tower uprade progress.

The reason it goes into negative damage is because it reaches the integer limit and starts counting backwards as it can't go higher, making the most amount of damage you can do is -1

Since the bottom path increases limit, and since bottom path regular farm auto collects banks when full, and having an insane limit, while making a lot of monkey, it is easy to get glitched/max money (-2.1b or whatever it was)

The way bloons works is that, beyond round 80, bloon health and speed scales up. This is why a tower can beat round 140 easy, but lose horribly on 200
