I agree! It's amazing how much gold is packed into these conversations. Norm never wasted words; and Dennis is so in tune with the way Norm's mind worked. Every minute is another. treasure. I love when he keeps emphasizing "thorny issue". Thanks for watching!
Great job of adding visual context for some of the obscure references in their hilarious conversation. The pictures also facilitate an emotional connection to Norm and Dennis. 👍👍
Thank you for the kind words. I’m so glad you enjoyed this. I sincerely didn’t know how people would respond. It was a really tough project so I really appreciate your positive feedback!
The visuals do a really great job accenting the myriad of deep pop culture references that Dennis Miller is known for using. Two really smart, HILARIOUS guys!
Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed this. That’s what I was hoping for. They discussed so many interesting subjects, and I thought it would be fun to present them visually. I really appreciating you commenting.
Wow thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it! I really appreciate it. I honestly didn’t know if it was a good idea or not; but I kept thinking about it every time I’d listen. So glad you dig it!
You covering Elton John, my favorite musical artist in the videos you have, and now posting a Norm Video, my favorite comedian of all time, this is amazing. I would absolutely love to see more Norm related videos!
Cool! Thanks for letting me know. There’s another 40 minutes of great stuff from the radio shows which I plan to do if enough people encourage me. It’s really time consuming as you can imagine. But it was a labor of love. 😎
These conversations were how I realized his genius. I listened over and over. One day it occurred to me it would be cool to see everything they referenced.
Until now the only exposure I've had to Norm was as Rusty on the TV series The Middle playing Mike's brother. He cracked me up just looking at him. Thanks for introducing me to his comedic genius. Somebody that can Crack you up like he did Denns is a genius!
Thank you, Patti! You’re the first person to leave a comment on this video; and I’m so relieved somebody enjoyed it. This is a project I did because I had to do it. I kept listening to these conversations and seeing them visually. I find them so entertaining; and they mentioned so many things that bring up images to my mind. It was really fun to create a visual accompaniment to their conversations. I just love the relationship between them; and you can really tell how much Dennis adores Norm. I just find it a uniquely funny, sweet, look into the lives of comedians. Happy new year to you!
@@JonBlackstone I could tell the project was a labor of love. Just like when you have a video on Elton. I am not really a Norm fan (gasp) but I will have to say I saw a different side of him in this video and it was hilarious
It's absolutely amazing to me the contrast between white peoples level of adoration for Norm Mcdonald, compared to black peoples complete indifference to him.
@OnlyKidWithCamera I have no clue. That's why I say it's amazing to me. I love comedy, I love SNL.....been watching it since early 90's. Norm Mcdonald seemed like just a plain role player on the show until the last 5-10 years when it seems like everyone is gushing about him. I don't get it.
1:28 th-cam.com/users/shortsJfH7FXGBvBg?si=dWctbe9JrZA4RbBk I love Norm and Dennis... Definitely by far my favorite is Norms Holocaust denying ventriloquist dummy...
I’m sorry for responding so late. I just now saw your question. Dennis Miller’s radio show was on I believe between 2002 and 2005; so these conversations between Dennis and Norm MacDonald were recorded during that time. Norm was like a regular guest that would phone in to the show every week. What did you think of my visual interpretation? I’m just curious cause I’m thinking about doing more of it, but it doesn’t seem like very many people have seen it. But I know many people love these conversations. Just curious what you think?
@@JonBlackstone I definitely like the visual part of the video, it makes it a bit more engaging. Sometimes I listen to podcasts and the people insert some obscure cultural reference and I have no idea what they're on about, so a visual aid would help a lot :) But I bet it's a lot of work to insert all of those images at the correct times
Thanks for mentioning the editing. This was a pet project I wanted to do for a long time and I’m very proud of B how it turned out. I wish more people would find it!
This just gets funnier by the minute. “My friends in the bag” 😂 I miss Norm so much. ❤

Thank you sooo much for this dude. Norm n Dennis r my favourite antidepressant. Your visuals just add to my joy. ❤😂😂😂
Thank you for the awesome comment. Believe me I completely relate to the "antidepressant". God bless

I lol when you put the photo of the old guy from Pawn Stars on when they were talking about Matlock.
You don’t know how happy it makes me you noticed that. I tried to incorporate my own sense of humor into the visuals. You made my day!
thank you very much for doing this pal! you rock
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I admit it was a major project; but an absolute labor of love. Thank you!
Norm was amazing. I never truly appreciated him until a few years ago. Great video.
Sorry I just saw your comment. I’m really proud of this video. It was a labor of love. Thanks for watching!

Absolutely hilarious ❤
I couldn't agree more. Every time I listen it gets better. Some very special moments in comedy history. Thanks for watching.
@OnlyKidWithCamera I really appreciate your visuals as well they were 🔥
This is so hilarious!! I don’t know what’s funnier, Norm, or Dennis & Co losing their minds laughing???!!!
You have to do more, Jon! ❤

That’s a really interesting observation. Do you have any thoughts about why?

Isn’t that whole puppet thing amazing. I’ve listened at least 100 times and it still kills me. Thanks for watching!
What year was this show?
