Haven't you noticed that when he says something "terrible" he instantly retracts his statement and says something completely the opposite. Example "Women aren't funny... Amy Schumer is the funniest person on the planet" If people reacted like "Yeah women aren't funny!" Instead of laughing at how "naughty" the joke was it would lose its magic. That's why stand up takes hours and hours of live workshopping at the club and why hecklers "helping out"- even when they agree and express similar sentiments to the comedian are almost never funny.

I remember being backstage watching the feed of this video. It was an incredible moment in my life. Just being casually roasted by Norm. He was so effortlessly funny. I loved dirty work when I saw it in theatres and I loved seeing his standup live in Ottawa. I come back to this video every year and I can’t believe we lost such a legend. I’m shedding a tear as I type this out. RIP Norm. You’re the greatest of all time.

Lonely Island and Norm were riffing just fine. It was the D list hacks that couldn't hang with the improv and had to do a lame disclaimer at the end as if Norm and Sandberg were serious. Jenny Slate and the other dude just couldn't riff at all. None of the guests really laughed at anyone other than Norm and you can see Jenny get increasingly frustrated over it.

I think that's why Silverman tried to be funny and do that story on radio where she is trying to deliver a story like Norm do (when he is telling some fake story in Conan for example) about when she was picking Norm up and putting him in a somewhat bad light. Her story being fake most likely too, funny that first laugh she gets when she quotes some joke her male friend had said. She also came to Norm's podcast with so defensive attitude which backfired when Norm was going actually really soft on her compared to the people he likes so she just looked bad (plus some stupid shit she said on it). Needless to say I don't really care for her.
Small price to pay for the kind of money and success they've thrown at Sandberg and other unfunny people who don't really deserve it. If that's all I had to do to have 100,000s and not even millions like one of them, I'd do it in assless chaps, no shirt, cowboy hat and boots. I think that's why Silverman tried to be funny and do that story on radio where she is trying to deliver a story like Norm do (when he is telling some fake story in Conan for example) about when she was picking Norm up and putting him in a somewhat bad light. Her story being fake most likely too, funny that first laugh she gets when she quotes some joke her male friend had said. She also came to Norm's podcast with so defensive attitude which backfired when Norm was going actually really soft on her compared to the people he likes so she just looked bad (plus some stupid shit she said on it). Needless to say I don't really care for her.

If you want to be charming engage him like hannibal, sanburg, or the random ladies at the end. Its way more genuine. I also have sympathy for the co-hosts, norm was making a mockery of what they take very seriously. It puts you in a weird spot between comedy and bullying.

I think people complaining about how boring and inept the co-hosts were are failing to realize that Norm is hilarious in this situation precisely because the other two are trying to take it seriously and follow the script. I could watch this kind of thing all day.

I didn’t like the other “comedians” on this show other than Norm. It’s like they were trying to leash norm, but he just kept breaking out and biting someone. Sometimes you just gotta let an old dog kill!
