There seems to be very little information on Phthalate contamination in foods grown under plastic greenhouse film. The prevalence of these films by growers has skyrocketed over the past few years, and there seems to be no discussion on it except a study in China where the authors recommended "More attention should be given to controlling PAEs (Phthalate Esters) in greenhouse vegetables."
If interested, I can supply a Fragrance company in NY State that only uses Botanicals, although not organic. They are not the least bit expensive either and have wonderful products.
Thank you!! Very Important topic I just learned about. I hate when that happens. I've spent a day and a half watching videos. You are saying almost exactly the same that 10 year old videos. 🙏 please post their decomposition age. The progress in policy makers. The specific phthalate being found in children. The effect of fasting to reduce phthalate in urine. Please 🙏
Right of the bat, the toxicologist makes a horrendous error. Phthalates are NOT found in plastic food and water containers. The water container referenced here is most likely PET or polyethylene terephthalate. This is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT chemical from phthalates, which are primarily used as softeners for PVC. PVC is not used to make food containers, thus cannot contain phthalates. It is hard to take this seriously with such egregious errors. The toxicologist may benefit from thoroughly understanding his subject before making a video next time.
Environmental Pollution, a peer reviewed journal also lists fragrance, food storage containers and more. Phthalates and attributable mortality: A population-based longitudinal cohort study and cost analysis. Possibly, you have a peer reviewed journal to support your comment? Thanks
I've been following you guys since 2014 and JUST learned about this YT channel!! So excited to share these videos. Thanks for all you do!
We need this organization in Europe! Love you!
