I ride a xc and also think that the lay out is beautiful. Only one thing I would do is add a dimmer to the lights. They can be extremely bright on a pitch black night.
I can't argue with that. It hasn't bothered me too much but having a night mode option that can be manually toggled would be a nice to have. Especially in that pitch black scenario you mentioned when you are out in the middle of nowhere.
Almost identical to a Vision and it is pleasing and eye friendly.
So I went in and looked. The instrument cluster on the Vision and XC are indeed the same part number. Everything around it changes, but that part is identical for sure.
I used to ride Victory, had a 2007 Arlen Ness Jackpot, then a 2015 CCT for those 2-up days and then got a 2016 Magnum and that thing was a beauty, the downside of Victory was its dealers, they were mostly mom and pop shops, they didnt stock anything and everything had to be ordered in, service was slow and cosmetic and performance upgrades were at best weak. In 2017 when the closed i was pissed, ended up keeping all 3 Victory's until March 2021 and at that time i was done and sold all 3 of them.
The dash on the Indian Chieftain was so ugly it looked like Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. I was done with Polaris, i went from March 2021 to August 2021 without a bike, i couldn't decide what i wanted, all i knew was it wasn't going to be a Polaris
Finally in August 2021 i was anxious to get another bike, still had the money from the sale of my 3 Victory's & I picked up a new Harley Street Glide, Harley want new to me and ive always loved the Street Glide's
The chances of me buying another Polaris is weak, I love my Harley's, anything i want to add whether is be cosmetic or performance, its available through Harley or the aftermarket.
Understood man. I bet that was a hell of a garage with a Jackpot, CCT, and Magnum there all at once. I'm glad you found a bike that you love. The Street Glide is a bike that many others have tried to emulate. It is iconic. Aftermarket support is vast as you stated. But, the big question is, which dash is better? Street Glide or Magnum? :) I'll admit, the Street Glide dash is pretty well done.
@@chasingredlineofficial I don’t know what it is about Polaris but if you look at the Indian Chieftain the dash looks like Johnny 5 from the movie Short Circuit.
If you look at the dash of a Magnum it also looks like a face, seems to be a Polaris thing but I will say that the colours used in the instrument cluster looks best on the Magnum, the red and blue make it easy to read
@@snakebite6511 Ha! I know what you mean there about the face. It gets worse once you install an aftermarket touch screen stereo. Then it looks like a face that is screaming.
