I plan on getting a custom color. I called and they told me to get the paint code and they can paint it. My new F150 is "Ruby red" and I want them to match. I also plan on getting the "Dual Star package", installed Tannus Armour liners, gold wheels or black wheels (I can't decide), and all the rear bags. I saw people were having problems with the torque sensor upon arrival. I guess Dave or Gator resolved the problem. I agree that we should have an option for an upgraded shifter and derailleur. Maybe a Campagnolo that would be worth half the price of the bike...hahaha. In all honesty, If I was to purchase a Biktrix, the cost of the bike would be $4500 to 7500. Maybe David can do some research to see what other higher end components would cost and of course compatible with an Ebike. People have the money, and people would get the higher end option if it was available. I would. So, in the meantime, I'm going back and forth between the eCell's 5 Star and the Biktrix Juggernaut XD. What I do appreciate is eCell's gives a 5% discount to first responders.

Around 15:50, you mentioned that a thermal conductive gel was added. I would love to see how this is implemented. Been having overheating problems with my Wired 2024 Gen 1 controller overheating (I suspect this has been addressed by Wired in their 2024 Gen II models as they have much higher output now). Don't know if anyone has dissected any of these.
Yes! This is the first and only company that has had KT add this thermal conductive gel to their controllers. I’ve been running this eBike hard and no over heating issues! It’s also potted/ventilated and that also helps! Wired has indeed addressed this issue by also adding a thermal gel to their controller and are now using an aluminum casing vs the plastic one. Only difference is that Wired went with an unbranded controller. Thanks for chiming in ❤️
Very detailed video! Love it! And I can tell you are being honest because you even bring some negative things about it. Not all positive. The best things in the world will always have some bad issue with something. So thank you! Maybe you dont know the answer but I am curious if the wired samsung batteries would fit the ecell bike? Would be awesome if it would but I assume its probably has a different connector? I already have a wired with an extra battery so that would be a bonus if they interchange. Happy riding! :D

Great question! And it’s a question that a lot of people have, so I’m going to make a comparison video between the two. I don’t know how fair it’s going to be since I don’t have the latest Wired model, but a lot of things remain the same. The Five Star is faster than the Freedom. Better brakes on the Five Star with the 203 mm rotor. The Wired has better cable management (cleaner), The Wired has a more comfortable saddle. The frame of the Five Star is better, more solid and sturdy. Make sure to Subscribe and press that notification bell so that you can be notified when I post my comparison between the two e-bikes! ✌️
Thank you! Neither the small or larger frame have issues! Most solid frame I’ve ever been on- this frame is over engineered! And I feel like the 17” frame fits me like a glove, the 19” would be too big for me,cause the 26” tires make e-bikes so big. Appreciate you watching!
I don't understand why I don't get full 45 mph speed (just only 41 mph instead of full speed) by my E-cells Five Star. My height is only 5'5" and my weight is only 132 lbs. Please, anyone can help me out?
Hello there! This bike isn’t rated for 45 mph! I was able to get it to 43 mph on a flat with 30 psi on my tires and pedaling my heart out, the rest of the riders that I’ve heard have been able to get it to 41 mph like you. Make sure to pump your tires to 30 psi, pedal really really hard and duck down to avoid as much wind resistance as possible. Please keep me posted to see if you can get anymore speed.
Hey you! I’ve only seen molicel batteries in way more expensive pev’s or when people build their own e-bikes or upgrade them. As a brand Samsung is top dog and they sell like crazy 👍

REALLY? Shouldn't you have included the video footage where you criticized the company for what you said, was trying to mimic the wired freedom? You had some really harsh things to say about e-cells for this particular bike, and now here you are criticizing wired freedom for charging you extra for taxes and shipping! Just be straight up with everyone, and include that little clip of your criticism in this review. It's only right.
They can warranty the motor, but the manufacturer says (hentach) this can do untold damage and possibly a failure/burn down of the motor. Of course both companies can do whatever they want, as long as they think about rider safety first. Thanks for chiming in ❤️

The whole ecells vs wired thing irrelevant of what side you land on has really exposed how all these reviews are bought. We need a project farm of e-bike reviews
Given that Ecells Five Star is based on thier Super Monarch frame, which is over 5 years old... Wired copied. Not only did they copy, they use an inferior suspension parts that induce frame wobble. BTW, they will also charge you to send the crap Wired bike back so they can "fix" it.
Despite what anyone says about wired the new model is going to be alot better and at the same price! I'm not gonna lie I was very impressed with the ecells and even was going to get one however after seeing how the price nearly doubled just to add on some accessories was crazy! So wired is the way I'm going jmo....👍🏻
I have NOT seen the Wired reach my speeds! Citizen Cycle got it up to 41mph for a second. Top speeds need to be done on a flat and with a gps and recorded on video for proof- so far nothing of the sort from Wired. Thanks for chiming in!

The price on the Five Star does go up by adding upgrades to it (not accessories)- you have the option to just get it stock and it’s hundreds less than the Wired cause they charge for insurance, shipping, etc… but to each their own, I’m sure your gonna love which ever ebike you get! ✌️
